We had a great time except for the few things that were wrong

Perfect location and some of the staff was helpful

The wet paint I got on my cloths and Dooner Burk purse and bed was very Hard.also did not get the roo We were looking to get

Nice hotel overall

The information said rooms have balcony with ocean view. THAT is why I chose this place. When I checked in they said they were “upgrading me” but it was first floor with no balcony or ocean view. I received a text the day before asking if there were any special requests and all I said was give me balcony and drip coffee maker and I’m good. The “text” did nothing for me. I was able to get another room but it was about the worst location second floor room closest to street away from ocean. My purpose for my trip was to read and write and sit on balcony and to rest. That was disappointing that they switched my room. It would have been great if I had higher floor and closer to ocean.

Great location and family friendly!!

Staff before and during the trip sent text messages to see how it was going and if we needed anything at all!! It was Easter Sunday and they had the Easter bunny come out with treats for the kiddos!! If we needed extra towels or toiletries they were immediately sent to our room!! Our view was awesome from the 6th floor !! This was our 3rd time staying there and definitely will be back!! Kid friendly and recently renovated!!

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with balconies and everything about the room and the property were outstanding!!

If the location to be right on the beach is important then this is a great place to stay.

The bed was comfortable. There was extra toilet paper for guest in the cabinet. There was soap to wash the dishes with available. The pool area is great for kids. They do have large grills outside for you to use.

There were small cockroaches crawling around. The kitchen and bathroom have not been updated in years. The dishes had old food on them. The shower is very small. The door to the room had a large gap in the frame so light passes through making it difficult to sleep if you need the room to be dark.

We had a great time. My grandkids, all 8 of them loved the pool. No real complaints from us.

We stayed at a place last year that has been a landmark of Daytona for years and it was disgusting. Going in we were a little apprehensive but were pleasantly surprised! When you enter the lobby it is clean and smelled fantastic. Check in was quick and easy. Our rooms were ready and they even were able to switch my mom (83) to a handicap room (I forgot to notify them). Our rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. *I booked 4 rooms for us.

We had requested to be close together in the North Tower but with the exception of my Mom we were all in the south Tower. Then we had 2 rooms on the 7th floor and 1 room on the 2nd floor. It worked out ok, really just not sure how far in advance you have to book to get what you want. (I booked in Jan) A/C worked great in the common areas but the 2 bedrooms were a little warm. We cranked the fans down to 68 at night to be able to sleep comfortably. Ceiling fans would be a nice addition. The pool is kinda small and shallow, another pool or enlarging the current one would be a nice plus.

The air didn’t work the first night. They did fix it the second day and they tried to fix it the first night but couldn’t.

Right on the ocean, low traffic, quiet spot. Decent size Kitchen.

The property is a bit outdated. No usb plug-in outlets, interior is very 1990, shower head pipe was loose, floral wall paper. No breakfast.

Awesome experience

The room was amazing. It had alot of space and definitely met the needs of what was stated in the description as well as pictures! The building was clean we were able to do laundry and got to wake up and go to sleep while watching and listening to the ocean waves! It was definitely everything I was dreaming of!

unexpected kindnesses!

close to everything.. like the pool area and the beac is perfect! It was my mother’s 94th birthday week celebration. we have stayed here the two years prior and it’s been great. sadly, my mom passed away while we were here, the day before her birthday. I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for everyone at this resort. They went above and beyond to help me during this difficult and unexpected time. Thank you for your kindness- to everyone, but especially John and the manager of this resort.

We are very disappointed that we were not told

We have stayed at The Cove before and it was great. Its directly on the beach on the quieter end.

The pool was not working, the heater apparently was broken so it was cold. The pump that makes the water flow for the lazy river, kids area that has the buckets and water umbrella wasn’t working. Therefore my grandkids and family couldn’t even enjoy the pool. it was too cold there was no water movement. We booked the hotel for the reason of having the kids pool amenities. The kids indoor pool was closed also for what reason I don’t know. The person that checked you in was telling other people that it was closed, but said NOTHING about the lazy River/kid’s area/pool heater. That should have been disclosed at check in also.

Disappointed that the pools weren't heated, no vending machines in the south tower and the tub/shower was very slippery.

parking was tricky. our place could use a clock on the wall. a 32” tv on the wall in the bedroom and yellow tape on the glass door bottom, I banged my feet twice bc it was so tall.

Just what I needed, a few days at the beach in a nice place!

I was there for some quiet reflection and was able to find it. Even though I was in the smallest unit, a studio, at the end of the hall, there were plenty of places facing the beach that I could go to.

Because it was at the end of the hall, there was a lot of traffic noise on my little balcony. But it is what I paid for and I do not complain! There was a lack of condo information as I understand that it was recently acquired by Hilton. But not a problem for me.

Greaty stay for one night.

Friendly, welcoming staff. The room was great, bed was comfortable. This was just a one night stay on our way to the Florida Keys. Would stay there again.
