Not worth the money

The remodel INSIDE the rooms were very nice looking, as long as you did not take to close a look to notice that many corners were cut. The bed was comfy but I enjoy a very firm mattress and I know that is not for everyone, I'd classify the pillows the same. The room itself is very clean and when I opened the door, I was honestly taken a back a bit because the outside doors not match the inside.

The negatives mostly has to be with the location, sirens all night long, the plumbing cleaning in the shower all night, and the biggest negative is that the price was not any better than much nicer places around. Overall if you were in a punch and just needed a place to sleep for the night then I would recommend this place (just bring ear plugs and you'll be fine).

The oils used to treat the floor were vere slippery especially when it rained, the water on your shoes mixed with the oils to treat the floor made for a dangerous condition.

beds are VERY uncomfortable as well as the pillows, either super flat pillows or too big and hard, the A/C kept turning off even though I had it on and not on auto making the room too hot and was another reason I was unable to sleep

The pillows were nice and comfy and location wasn't too far from the beach. Overall was decently clean and served its purpose for the night.

The bed was super hard. Toilet moved every time you get off of it. And I thought there would be small bottles of shampoo and conditioner, but there wasn't. Had to go to Walmart, which was close, so that wasn't too inconvenient. Wasn't worth the cost for one night but definitely understandable since there was an event in town.

It worked for us--near the Mexican border, freeways, pet friendly, clean and safe enough.

The things we liked most were that the place is pet friendly. We had our small dog and there is a small grassy area to walk dogs complete with plastic bags and special trash container. We also appreciated the location that is convenient to the freeway. We did find a nice Thai restaurant just about a mile or two away Noodles Noodles, and there's a Denny's within walking distance, not that you'd want to walk on those busy streets/intersection, and other places close by. As unhelpful as the guy in the office was, the cleaning staff was super nice and helpful, though we had few towels, one hand towel and no washcloth. There wasn't even a place in the sink area to hang a towel, so it looks like the place isn't set up for them, not just that the cleaning people didn't leave them. The place seems newly renovated, baths are nice.

We arrived after dark and could see no signs for the office. After driving through the property and back we pulled up near a door to try, a gruff man came to a window, wouldn't let us inside, and unhelpfully told us to move the car and leave it elsewhere. We couldn't figure out what he was trying to tell us--few words, maybe another language. Then a woman standing nearby indicated a couple of spaces across the driveway and down a bit that were only marked on the pavement, no signs, that said check in. So we moved the car and then he let me in. I asked for the first floor room we had requested in advance but he said we were checking in too late for that, it was around 8pm. There was only a desk chair, no comfortable place to sit in the room

Good price and fairly clean

The guy behind the desk at check-in wasn’t very friendly. We had run into a problem with our card being expired and he made us feel like we were less than.
