Overall, i would say it’s a fair place to stay for a weekend trip but anything longer i wouldn’t recommend.

I liked the location and the building itself. It was very clean and had a cozy feeling. The breakfast included was very good.

The walls are thin and you could hear everything above you, in the hallway, and outside. It’s also over-priced and you have to pay to park everyday you’re parked which wasn’t advertised or even told to me until i was billed for it.

Beautiful old building in the heart of Case Western

Beautiful old building on Case Western’s campus. Across the street from the Cleveland Botanical Garden and art museums. Staff was professional and friendly especially James who took the time to connect with us and make us feel very welcome!

Small things: Pillows were foam and not very comfortable. Blow dryer didn’t work.

Exceptional

The breakfast is excellent and the breakfast rooms are gorgeous. The food is artfully arranged on a large table in the dining room. And….cloth napkins! Great location if you are in Cleveland to go to the Cleveland Clinic.

I would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed the breakfast. Staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. Location was perfect.

Rooms are very dark and even more so by the biege walls. The tv remote never seems to work well whenever I stay and in whatever room I happen to be in.

Clean and friendly and they kept somethings instorage while I stayed

I emailed the hotel about needing a quiet room. I arrived and there was a party behind the hotel so they changed my room from the back of hotel to a suite room where people were speaking loudly and I could not sleep. So I had to let the adjoining room at 1:30 am that I could hear them and couldn’t sleep. My quiet room expectations were not met. Also I had a lot of trouble with the shower handle and struggled immensely to work. I don’t like complaining but I specifically tried to arrange quiet before arrival. I had an exam I ad to start at 9 am so I had actual sleep time of about six hours before I had to get up. This was unexceptable

Perfect location to CIM, Severance and Museums.

The condition of the elevator doesn't match the pristine condition of the rest of Glidden House. It is badly in need of cleaning and aesthetic touch up.

we stayed in a newly renovated wing that was just beautiful and very comfortable. excellent staff, and the breakfast was fabulous, especially in the lovely garden room. we will definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect. The facilities are beautiful and comfortable, and breakfast is generous.

The location is fantastic. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. The breakfast was very generous, though I would have preferred the option of real bacon or sausages. The turkey bacon was limp. The common areas are beautiful. Love the bar! The room was very comfortable. It was quiet.

My one big complaint was that there was a plumbing problem in the morning and we had no water to take a shower or brush our teeth! I understand such things happen but no one informed us of the problem nor tried to accommodate us, like provide some bottled water. No apologies either!! Otherwise, the staff were very helpful and gave us a great recommendation for a nearby restaurant. I also found the beds were too soft for my taste.

Each of the staff were very personable & accommodating. From the phone call to add a night's reservation to our original stay to the delivery of an extra pillow with a smile.

great staff, my food was slightly cold but my bed was amazing and the staff was the best thing ever!

i love the history of it!! it’s a beautiful building

that it was almost claustrophobic and squished in between several buildings, bur other than that I loved it
