Decent place but could have done without the bugs

The price was worth it based on the location, it was amazing and it was only a 13 minute walk to downtown Gatlinburg. The pool was very nice and clean. The bed was also very comfortable and the breakfast was very good.

The room looked really nice when we came in but we noticed some spider webs in some parts of the room and we came back to the room after a day out to a slight ant issue. I had to put towels under the door to prevent ants from coming in. Also the fridge did not work.

A mixed experience with room for improvement.

The Quality Inn & Suites Gatlinburg is a gem nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains. With its prime location just 1.5 miles from Great Smoky Mountain National Park, it’s a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.

While the Quality Inn & Suites has its merits, there are notable areas for improvement. The building maintenance leaves much to be desired. Some common areas show signs of wear and tear, such as chipped paint, outdated fixtures, and malfunctioning elevators. Additionally, the housekeeping quality management falls short. Guests have reported inconsistent room cleanliness, overlooked details (like dusty corners and stained carpets), and slow response times to maintenance requests. For a more pleasant stay, the hotel management should prioritize addressing these issues promptly.

Prima voor een weekendje Gatlinburg.

Prima ontvangst, geweldige locatie. Recht tegenover een rodelbaan, of een mountaincoaster. We keken op de weg voor het hotel en de berg. De kamer was ruim en voorzien van bubbelbad op de kamer en een open haard.

Het hotel is aan een renovatie toe. Zooi om het hotel, verf bladdert van het balkon, kapotte stoelen, een haar in het bubbelbad. Het ontbijt is prima naar Amerikaanse standaard. Het is allemaal wat troosteloos. Het kan zoveel mooier worden met wat kleine aanpassingen.

Would stay in the future

I love the balcony, the comfy beds and pillows. The room was clean. The staff was friendly but the office did not smell the best. We saw many bears just from our balcony. The value of the hotel is worth the stay and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good it is not just fruit they had waffles bagels, cereal sausage biscuits and gravy and eggs.

I didnt like that the elevators were out of service the water took forever to get hot when I wanted to shower the water barely drained in the sink the plumbing was not too good in that place. The hotel is a great value for what I paid for 5 nights though. I would stay again in the future.

Staff could improve on customer service!

I liked that the rooms were connecting so I could share time with my family.

The staff were completely rude! I had five adults and four children I asked for towels they said I needed to come to the front desk when I arrived at the front desk no one was there to give me towels! I saw four staff members standing outside and when I ask, one of them shut the door in my face! I was very upset at this situation but I continued on anyway. For breakfast they said 630 to 930 when I arrived with the three small children there was absolutely nothing at 8:45 AM and nothing extra was offered!

Never gonna stay here again. Brown water and smells disgusting.

It has a nice deck area over looking the pool. It was pretty fun to stand there and let my kid run for a bit.

This hotel was nasty. We turned the faucet on and it took a good 5-10 for it to cut on. And then when it did come out it was brown. The toilet water, the sink water, and the shower water ALL BROWN!! I could never get ahold of the front office either. We came here, used the bathroom, caught up on some needed sleep after traveling all night and then woke up and left. Front lobby smelled funny so we didn’t even try for the breakfast.

I won’t book with that Quality Inn again ( not good Quality)

Location. Plenty of pillows. Breakfast was fairly good.

Not clean, I found a paper plate under a chair (visible). My feet got dirty walking on the floor on the first day. The bathroom door had black on it by the door handle from use. (It could and should have been cleaned) the painting on the baseboards was terrible quality. Paint on the floor. The beds were very uncomfortable.

Below average. Hate that I spent over 100 bucks for one night.

It was pet friendly. Free breakfast and not a terribly far walk to downtown l. The bed was comfortable. Seemed like a safe area I didn't feel scared to walk to my car at night.

Had no idea there was a $20 per pet fee until check in. I looked back at my booking email and it did not state this fee anywhere. There were smears and splatter on the back of the bathroom door. No water pressure. The grass in the dog area needed cut. There were no bags to pick up dog poo so there was dog poo all over the pet area. The lobby smelled horrible like smoke.

It sufficed for one night, but I would not have wanted to stay there longer. Not great for dogs.

The location was fantastic. We could walk to everything and avoid finding parking and dealing with traffic. The place was clean, but outdated and dingy.

We had our dog with us. We were up on the third floor. The pet bathroom spot was very far away, and all it was was one small area of grass. Otherwise, there was nowhere for her to go. Also, the description of our room said we had a fireplace. There was no fireplace.

Not My Best Experience

Location and access to room

Rude old coot at check-in. He was rude to guests (not us as he wasn’t the clerk who checked us in) and he was rude to the other check-in clerk. Tiny office for check-in which made checking in crowded. Not safe healthwise being in that close contact to so many people at one time. And they wouldn’t allow a 30 min early check in which would eliminate the crowded office.

Nice, affordable, and pet friendly motel

Large room, pet friendly, nice fireplace. Nice check-in person. Didn't have any problem staying with a dog.

Elevator very slow, so didn't even use. The outside walls could use a makeover. As others have said, the property has alot of potential. Parking could be better.

We had a great stay and a wonderful vacation! We stayed here last year too!

The room was clean and comfortable! It had a refrigerator, microwave, television, table and 2 chairs, fireplace, and balcony with 2 chairs and a table. It was close to the attractions we went to see! They served a daily breakfast.

The coffee could have been hotter at breakfast. The room was in need of some minor repairs. Everything else was great!

Very good

The bed was comfy, loved that all rooms had a balcony. We traveled with our golden doodle, so the pet friendly was a plus. We arrived abit early and was able to get in our room. Staff was pleasant.

I cant say there wasn't anything we didn't like as we were gone all day with our dog .

I didn't feel like it was cleaned very well. The man who checked us wasn't overly friendly. When we arrived the elevator wasn't working..we were on the 6th floor.

Sugar ants came into the room through the balcony. There were hundreds. They had a trail going under the bed and were found all over the night stands and some on top of the beds. It kept me from sleeping well. When reported, no discounts were offered.

Loved the fact the pool was available. Location close to town & Smoky Mts entrance was a bonus.

Overall it was a very pleasant clean place to stay, love seeing all the pets

The room is great, we always try to stay on the 4th floor and they were very accommodating. I've had a couple let surgeries so this is very important.

The exterior is in need of work, most of the hand rails are rusted. Only one ice machine works for the whole hotel.

Superb

The room was comfortable and liked that it came with a balcony. Liked that the hotel was within walking distance to the main drag. Nice little area to take our dog to go to the bathroom.

the rooms were great

the view and fire place were great! my fur babies annoyed this hotel a lot and it was very spacious and a lot cleaner than most hotels we been too

the guy at the front desk, I think his name was jimmy? he was an older guy and he was super rude, wasn’t even his customer and he kept barging into mine and the other girls conversation. I have service animals and wouldn’t even acknowledge my certification letter so we ended up paying 40 bucks for my service animals because he wound not do his job. the girl felt bad and kept apologizing to us.

I didn’t like the thing that is in the bathroom in the ceiling. It looks like a camera and make me feel uncomfortable. I don’t know if is camera or not. It is a black circle on the ceiling.
