Super friendly staff and nice property…would definitely stay again

Food options, large family room options, got to choose the floor we wanted, laundry on site, pool options, beachfront w/ balcony

Balcony furniture poor/dirty, sheets stained, poor pillows . Booked another night but checked out at 630p the night before check…a partial pay day for guests leaving before midnight would be wonderful instead of paying full for partial day stay.

I know the time we go to relax it's a holiday the price is too high, we got couple things not happy.

I like this room because it is in beachfront and top floor

Parking lots not enough for a time I want to park. And call me early in the morning about my car parked block another car can't leave. It's not right! I park a right spot. Front desk not nice to talk with me about situation. Bed sheet has a blood stain and soap dispenser not working. Dining door (go to pool) locked. Morning when I eat breakfast it keeps disturb me for opening door for someone want to get in hotel.

We were on vacation, visiting our family. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff were very nice and courteous. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. And, the location on the Virginia Beach boardwalk was great. The guest rooms were very clean , and the suite was very spacious.

The pool was a little dirty. And, it would be nice if there were more chairs , or lounge chairs in the pool area.

Best Pool on the north end of the beach. Plus a pool bar with food 11a-6pm.

Would prefer that the pool wasn't the only place to get food from 11A to 5P.

Splurge but nice stay

The entire stay was fantastic, everyone friendly, quiet but not sterile feeling, plenty of snack and drink options and 2 pools!

The showerhead only worked full pressure on ice cold but the front desk took a note for the maintenance to look after we left, since we were only there 1 night.

Anniversary at the Beach

The suite was so nice, very roomy. Excellent view of the ocean and pool. Loved the location on the quiet end of the boardwalk.

Cafe was very pricey and not many selections. We were there in the middle of the week and did not get to enjoy the breakfast buffet.

One of the best vacation I have had Virginia Beach is the cleanest beach I have ever stayed at!

Everything it was first class the property had just been remodeled and they did a great job! It is right off the beach, walking and bike lanes.

The staff made it decent. I should’ve investigated about the construction going on.

I was unaware he was under construction. It was very inconvenient not to be able to wash my clothes for a week. Also unable to use a gym for a week, and there was so much construction going on, Trash was everywhere in the parking lot inside the hotel.

I was expecting cash back from Rakuten but I was told from booking.com I can’t get cash back for my 2 reservations. I received for the first stay on the 18th but have not received for the 25th. These were 2 different reservations and there was nothing said about only getting cash back for 1 reservation. Very disappointed. The reason I went thru booking.com was because of the cash back

I was very happy with my stay.

I have stayed here before and love it, that is why I came back. I was also surprised to be GUEST of the day and my regular room was upgraded at no charge to a suite. It was very nice.

The restaurant was not open for business for dinner.

Won’t be back.

The view.

Second day, the pool was opened because weather got better, but kept closing and opening. Gates were locked and people had to ask for a key to get out. We never knew when we could get in. The main reason we came. And we were NOT expecting to pay to park in the parking lot and the fee was high. One of the guest services staff members never looked up any time we walked in, never greeted us. Didn’t have a friendly feel. No hot water. Had to put our clothes on to notify the desk because there was no answer when we called the desk. They finally resolved it.

Beautiful location. Close to clean beach, great food and fun shopping.

We wish that the kitchenette provided paper towels, plastic utensils and paper plates(or equally utilized green products). A quick trip to the corner market solved that issue.

Needed to be cleaner. Dirt/dust build up in bedroom corners. A previous guest hair was left on the bathroom sink. Mold on ice machine on the 2nd floor. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. Linens need an upgrade. AC unit had weird smell and struggled to keep the room cool throughout the day. Would of requested a new room but was traveling with my 4 month old and 2 year old so did want to have to lug EVERYTHING to another mediocre room….. oh and breakfast buffet is extremely overpriced for the quality of food.

We liked the fact that our room was oceanfront with a balcony. The rooms were also very large and clean. The kids also loved the pools.

In our opinion it was a little overpriced. It was a holiday weekend but we stayed from a Sunday night and checked out Monday. And breakfast was not included.

Overpriced for holiday weekend

Great location on VA Beach.

We paid over $500/night for Labor Day weekend. Its crazy. I really thought this would be a nicer facility for being a Marriott and charging that price. It felt a little worn. Not what I’d expect of a Marriott. Staff should be mopping up wet floors and sand constantly. Cleaning service in room only every other day -say what?!?! Mini fridge in room but no freezer section. No safe in room! Sheets were either dirty or stained, so we had those changed immediately. Bathroom tiles mildewed and tub is old. The 10th floor hallway smelled awful like a mildewed smell. The pools were nice, but the outdoor pool water is freezing - kids wouldn’t go in and that’s the main reason I chose this hotel. I’d pay $200-225 a night for this room, definitely not worth the $500 we paid. We made the most of it. Staff was nice.

Overall a good place to stay but disappointed in the cleanliness issues.

Pool was very nice and the bar very convenient. Nice to spend time at the pool without having to leave to get something to eat. Proximity to beach, restaurants, etc. is excellent - especially like the quieter north end. Shower was great, comfortable beds, towels were nice and thick. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful.

No microwave in room. Didn't like using the one down the hall - food was almost cold by the time I got back to room. When we arrived, there were food crumbs all over the floor in our room and there was a half-drank bottle of water on the floor. We reported to front desk and they sent someone up to sweep. Made you wonder if the rest of the room had been cleaned/sanitized. Also the chairs and table on the balcony were filthy. Looked no one had cleaned them for a LONG time. Ketchup all over the small table. Not very inviting - we had to clean them before we could enjoy the balcony.

Pleasantly Surprised.

Friendly Staff. Large bright and airy 2 room suite. Comfortable beds. Distance to the beach. Adequate outdoor pool and bar. Drinks were good and bartenders were attentive. Very quiet during our stay and views of the Sunrise were excellent!!

Onsite parking lot was a challenge and additional costs should have been covered in "resort fees". Furnishings were dated but were clean and in good condition. We ALWAYS re-clean when we arrive but thankfully found no issues overall. Additional linens/towels were promptly provided.
