Great family gateway

Grande Cayman Resort was great, easy access to beach and located close near everything to do in Myrtle beach. My kids loved the lazy river and water slides

We had the best time on vacation!!!

Friendly, clean, enjoyable stay!!

Could have used a small vacuum sweeper, broom did not do it cleaning floors for me.

Great value, great little mini vaca. Loved it.

Loved the over all facilities. Slightly dated but very clean and inviting.

My only complaint is that our room wasn't swept or moped the entire 3 days we were staying here. It was filthy and sooo sandy by the end of our trip, I almost went and bought a broom. Also, our sheets were never changed so they got kinda gross and sandy as well. I even stripped the bed thinking they would put on new bedding but we ended up having to call down to have sheets brought back up. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay! I loved being so close to the pool area and the beach. The only downside to the pool area was that there was so much to do, I couldn't keep up with my kids and relax at the same time. They were all over the place. Lol.

I don't like the this resort. Terrible 😞

The location is good

Parking available is terrible. The hotel setup is like a maze. We had bugs in the room . We had to go buy some insect spray for the inside of the room. I'll never stay there again . It wasn't worth my money

We won't go back

The on site restaurant and staff there was great, Starbucks was a plus too. Our room was on the ground floor with the only view being the parking lot next door, and our room smelled awful. We jad to go and buy room spray. There also were several additional charges when we arrived. We won't atay there again

Location

The bathroom floor and shower had hair all over. The parking is absolutely terrible if you drive anything other than a compact car. I drive a SUV and it took me 15 mins to get out of a spot. I ended up parking in the high conversion van spots and it was still super tight. I was on ground floor so there would be random knocks at my door(assuming unattended children) also Housekeeping beat on my door..not a knock…

Overall my kids enjoyed the indoor pool.

I liked the indoor pools and beach access.

The floors were very dirty. My room had a musty smell. It took forever to get towels. I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't included.

It was spacious My family were all together They were able to accommodate us having 4 -3 bedroom apartments

I didn't like that the doors in the rooms didn't lock and the bathroom door wouldn't lock Not enough water pressure in bathroom sink

Very good

Beautiful location and view, lots to do on site. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tubs were super clean. Plenty of chairs poolside to choose from, well lit for nighttime swimming. Beds were comfy, housekeeping made sure to get trash and provide clean towels every morning.

Elevators were very finicky, they would get "stuck" you would have to open and close the door several times to get it to "reset" and go. At times, that didn't even work, you would just have to wait and change to a different elevator. There weren't a lot of kitchen items, i.e. bowls, cooking utensils, pots. We made do with what was there but with a large family and cooking meals there it would have been nice to have more to work with.

Not much!!!

How they kept charging my credit card for envalid charges, even after I was home 3 weeks after my stay. I also paid for dayly room service that I never received. The place was filthy.

Staff was very unfriendly, room was dirty. Stains on blankets and sheets. Shower had mold on it. The whole facility smelled bad

Rather stay somewhere else next time in Myrtle Beach

The heated pool and lazy river was nice

Being charged twice for the resort fee online and also at the hotel, without any thorough response or help from Booking.com or the Grande Cayman on the double charging of the resort fee, after I called to dispute. I am a Priceline member and surprised that my reservation went through Booking.com. Not a fan. Parking area was tight to maneuver and loud when car alarms went off. Front desk attendant not clear and concise while communicating at check-in. Felt abandoned, inappropriately questioned and rushed. Not the best check-in experience. Pillows are uncomfortable. Too thick and hard. Rooms were eh. Carpets are yucky in the breezeway to the rooms. The waterpark slides/area wasn't available to my family at opening time at 9am because the employee was late to lifeguard duty.

Started out ok, ended HORRIBLY!

Location, parking cleanliness of facilities and room.

Two jacuzzis and pools not heated at all so the jacuzzi that was heated was filled with 12 pp at a time. Listen to the other reviews about housekeeping bathing in your room unannounced, no knocking or anything. I had just gotten back from getting ice and the housekeeper barged in with a key well after 1pm my second day. Thank God I was fully dressed and it was a woman! While checking in I heard another guest complaining to front desk associate that housekeeping came into her room while she was showering! Never got to use it. While attempting to add another nights stay my card was charged almost $400 and then Inwas told that because I refused to accept the fraudulent charge, wait for it to be reimbursed, still pay an extra night of almost $200 additional dollars l was told I had to leave by 1 pm as a “courtesy “. I was told the room would be an additional $129 minus fees and my card was immediately charged $360 before I even agreed to the rate. Manager was not accommodating nor did this hotel take accountability for the inconvenience. I left my vacation in a horrible mood. I was told SEVERAL times by the manager that my funds were refunded immediately and that it would take a few hours. It took 4 days for me to get my money back. Don’t use your bank card here! I should have known there I would be trouble, when I was checking in another guest was at the front desk for at least 20 minutes trying to sort out a fraudulent charge to her card. I’ve been to the beach at least 30 times and this has never happened.

Awesome Mother's Day Weekend

The condo was beautiful, and the views were breathtaking. We had lots of space. The lazy river was amazing! The staff were helpful and friendly.

Only thing going for this place is the view.

The ocean view was incredible at sunrise.

Zero service, called for extra blanket for sofa bed but no one sent anything both nights. If there’s a sofa bed there should be a blanket too. Rooms were outdated too and the reception area was understaffed.

weekend getaway

never stayed before our trip it was amazing since was cool out all there pools except where water slide where heated so kids still got to swim

I was disappointed that the tiki bar wasn’t open neither did turtle bay but I understand it was off season

Not what I had expected.

I loved the lazy river!!

The rooms were not what I had expected. Having my door open straight out to the parking deck made it difficult to sleep at night.

Relaxing

The room was very clean and nice. pools were nice and clean. Front desk people were wonderful and The breakfast was great!

Room front door was not installed correctly and does not open all the way... hard to get in/out. Also bath tub needs grab bars for safety and to get in/out. Would have liked cups in room.

The room wasn't clean mold on lamps an dust an hair in the bathroom along with ketchup prints on the bathroom wall was horrible open the cabinet an saw two roaches so had to throw away the cooked food.. y'all charged for housekeeping an I cleaned an sprayed before I could've sit down .. please do BETTER shameful
