we requested a no-smoking area but the room still stonk of smoke

There was a roof over my head. Location was where I needed. Easy access.
Coffee pot had to be moved to bedside because the outlets in vanity area didn’t work. Smelled like smoke even though it was a “non-smoking” room. Toilet nearly overflowed. TV remote worked sometimes and sometimes didn’t. Could see daylight through the closed door. Iron burns on the carpet.

Room was gross. Needed a good scrubbing. No switch plate on light switch in bathroom-is that even up to code? It was too gross to even shower in-just wanted to get out of there! Paid way too much for this room. Booking.nah!

Staff was nice and professional. Room was clean and beds slept good!
Back parking lot needs a little work..the stairs are having peices of concrete falling off...this is a maintenance issue and just needs to be fixed. Says a breakfast online but you couldn't get inside the building other than check in area that I saw but we were here for the old town not a perfect place to stay.

it was snowing and icy so it at least saved my car from being in a wreck.
this may have been the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I played college baseball with a small university. We stayed in some pretty shady places. But this place was the worst. Spooge on the walls, shower had the handrail ripped out and exposed, fitted sheet had a cigarette burn in it, and we slept in full clothes with socks. Finally I paid for 3 rooms and they only gave me 2.

No phone, refrigerator didn't work, had to change rooms cause door key wouldn't work. Toilet had a ice bucket under it cause it would pour out water when u flushed it. Shower curtain had mold on it and was held together with tape. This was only in one of the rooms. The pool had stagnant water in it

Quick check in, walking distance to store and gas station. Comfy room, nice a/c.
Needs better wifi. Have stayed here multiple times and have never had luck with the wifi they provide. Needed wifi to download something for work and honestly stepped outside and connected to the guest wifi of the Domino's across the street.

There wasn't anything that we liked
The room had a strong odor of cigarettes. The blankets had burn holes all in them. The room was filthy and had roaches!! I would not recommend this place to any one the only good thing about this place was the location.

the bed was comfortable. The fridge worked well. the shower was hot. Clean room.
Very outdated. not as friendly as I would have expected. when we arrived no one was around to check us in. (We were there before 6pm) We had to ring the bell twice and then call the motel by phone before any one came to the front desk. then they seemed surprised to see us. ( we had been books for months.)

Location was close to race, supermarket, and downtown Blue Ridge.
The towels are tiny and they were ripped. One of them had yellow stains on them that I only noticed AFTER I dried myself off with it. I was so disgusted. The bathroom door had a hole in it as if someone had punched through it. The bathroom was not clean. I kept my shoes on the whole time.

The location is good.
The room was not adequately cleaned. There is hair in the shower, food crumbs and debris on the floor. The sealant between the wall-mounted heater and the room and given so he called draft came in all night which the heater could barely keep up with. The hot water was warm at best. The staff was grumpy and rude.

They Didn't serve any breakfast, would have been nice if they had offered some prepackaged breakfast foods, that could have been heated in microwave maybe some kind of juice or cartons of regular milk or chocolate
