Overall good stay

Didn't get room I booked. Was supposed to be first floor poolside. Several people live at hotel and they are on back poolside. I was also supposed to be on bottom floor but was put on second floor without an elevator. Stairs hurt my back and hip due to MS, but was told no bottom floor was left. Stay was still pretty good, just had to stay up at room so to not hurt myself.

Very comfortable stay overall, and I would stay here again!

Bed was good, clean. The pool was outstanding! Very clean and refreshing. Size of room was good.

The lock on the door to the room ((card reader portion) was very difficult to operate. The reader would take the data, green light would come on (not every time swiping) but the latch would not engage. Very frustrating. Tried with both cards, even the manager had a difficult time getting it to catch.

I loved the gazebos the most. They are out about the pool and it is a good place to sit and relax

I didnt like that the hallways were so hot and the smell of marijuana was too strong. Not saying I don't like marijuana I do(I smoke the hell out of it).

Price was alright, but the facilities were dirty!

The hotel was dirty. I walked into my room and found trash on the floor from previous guests. I also saw a mixture of lint, and hair and “stains” on the bathroom towels. The linens also had the same on them. I didn’t feel comfortable sleeping in the bed, using the towels, or standing in the shower floor.

Made reservation through Booking.com, and got confirmation, but when I arrived at the property, they had no record of the reservation. I was lucky they had a room since I encountered heavy traffic on my way there and arrived very late at night.

Horrible

I'm sorry nothing was likable. It was too gross to even want to see what breakfast was. The lobby smelt so bad in the morning.

Not feeling safe. Main lobby doors were broken and so were the side doors. I didn't like the sliding glass door option either. The whole hotel smelled of years of cigarette smoke. When we walked into the halls it was foggy of cigarette smoke down both corridors. The curtains were filthy. We didn't want to touch anything. The room doors had months hand smudges, stuff looked spilled on the walls that wasn't wiped down. Wet hair all over hair dryer, dead bugs, stains and holes on covers. Pet hair on bed and pillows. Pillows stunk of mold, paint or cigarettes. Only thing wiped down was the tub itself and the toilet seat. I don't think the bathroom sink was cleaned. I took some pictures when I first arrived. I couldn't believe they would rent out the room. Plus it wasn't what I expected at all from this websites photos. My kids pointed out uglier stains on the down blankets that I didn't take pictures of. None of us got much sleep. I would have turned around and not checked in, if all the hotels weren't booked or over priced for the VA tech Homecoming game. We will never try a Baymont after this. This was our test run to see about using them the following weekend for another baseball tournament. We'll go back to what we're used to. NOT this!

The room was dirty it was spots on the carpet it was a heavy smell of smoke throughout the hotel it was broken Furniture in the room it looked more like a crime scene the response on a wall that look more like blood but I have been driving all day and I needed to get sleep so I was stuck staying there

I felt like I was in a nightmare to be in such a good area of town.

I did not like anything. Wasn't their a hour. Took pics and showed the manager. And he stated he didn't have another room to move me too. And told the nightshift worker to handle this. My room was not clean. I couldn't even use the bathroom because the toilet had a fresh ring in it. And so did the tub. I express it respectfully and showed pics. And the nightshift worker said all he could do is take ten dollars off my price. And show me to the bathroom in the lobby.

I told them I had another reservation for the next day to please cancel and he said to cancel on the booking.com app and I did. He said he would confirm it. But when check out the next morning he did not. And the lady did it in one minute and I received confirmation. It was Soo disappointing and frustrating. Nothing look professional not even the towels in the bathroom. Even the shampoo, conditioner and lotion were three different brands. The carpet had big stains. And the furniture was dirty. The nightshift worker even said my room hasn't been rented since March of this year. And I should have seen it before. It was worse. The land and the property was awful. I saw furniture outside the property. The grass was not even kept. There were clothes hanging on the banister. There was exposed wires in the ceiling of the hallway. And I have pictures to prove it. It was maze trying to find my room. Being a woman out that time of the night. My key even stop working and the night shift worker walk me back to my room. Because he said it wasn't safe for me being a woman being out alone. I'll never stay their ever again. And also they charge my credit card twice. Even though I didn't stay their and cancel in advance. According to the night worker. I wanted to leave but the night worker said he couldn't give me a refund. He can only take off ten dollars. And the outlets didn't work. So I couldn't charge my computer or phones.
