Cozy affordable stay

Lady in reception was wonderful 😊 very friendly and helpful

The toilet was not working properly and the shower 🚿 was leaking but overall it was a good stay for the price

We’ve stayed here many times & would like to continue to do so if a few things would improve.

Location & price.

Ice machine still not fixed (6 months or more). Only one channel available on TV. Very low water pressure at bathroom sink…pretty much just a trickle. The lady checking us in was wearing a MAGA hat; would prefer if polarizing politics could be left out of our weekend away.

The Cleanest Motel and Best Customer Service

Very clean. Room was organized. The bed wasn't super comfy but the chairs in the room were. Check-in was awesome and she was really sweet. Very big mini fridge too

The curtains wouldn't completely close because of the A/C blowing right up to it

La gérante est très gentille, elle discute et donne volontiers des conseils. La chambre est simple mais grande et propre. La literie était bonne. Le prix de la chambre imbattable. Super séjour on recommande vivement !

Friendly staff, independent motel, reasonably priced. Good restaurant for breakfast / lunch next door.

They are renovating their rooms and unfortunately we had one of the old ones. The renovated rooms should be fine and a very good value if the prices remain the same. They will have wooden flooring while ours had a VERY dated carpet. Since we were traveling with small kids we checked out early.

Probably would give the place another try.

Convenient.

The bed was lumpy. No ice on the property. Had to go next door. The picture window would have been enjoyable, but it was so dirty! It certainly made the place less attractive.

Stay clear of this property and of booking.com.

The price was good but very deceiving. Be extremely careful if you book here. Seems they have double standards.

The woman at the check-in was very adamant about checking in at 3 pm and not a minute before. She was not very friendly or accommodating. I got sick on the first night and asked for a refund for the second night, she told me more than once if I had booked directly with the hotel and not with Booking.com, she could refund. But because I used booking.com as I "had" always done, she could not help even though when I spoke to her upon check out she said she would. Double standards.

Had a great 4-night stay and plan to stay there again this month.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The manager was very helpful. For personal reasons we requested a change in rooms (to our favorite room) and she was very accommodating with a smile to make it happen.

It was very well appointed with coffee, fridge and microwave. Nothing fancy but all good.

Location. Room was quiet and fairly comfortable.

Water pressure was poor. Whole room needed an upgrade. We were only given one key for the room.

the room had bed bugs I couldn’t get a hold of anybody in the office I am a solo traveling nurse and didn’t have anywhere else to go I slept in the chair the bed was full of bedbug my cloths and luggage

Exceptional

The room was lovely: they even had a small Christmas tree on one bed table. Although the location was on the main road, the motel was very quiet. Fredericksburg is a touristy town, but Sunset Inn was cozy and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.

In the mornings, parking is limited because the Sunset Restaurant next door is very busy.

I would definitely stay again, worth the price and location

This a cute place to stay not far from downtown. The are in the process of remodeling so you may get a more updated room and you may not. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful. It was our anniversary and they gifted us a bottle of wine and little trinkets. The restaurant on the property is sooooo good. I see why it's popular. Overall nice and clean place.

probably won’t stay there again.

The location for us was very good.

The room we had was very tiny. With two of us, it was hard to walk around in the room. Soda machine was broken, but at least had an ice machine. The lady gave us a room and when we put the key in, a lady was in that room. I think it was scary for both us. The lady at the desk thought it was funny and gave us another room. nope not funny at all.
