We had a great stay and would stay again at this location.

Pool, price and location

Couple areas not safe for toddlers or small children- railing slots around pool and no guard by window of front desk from 2nd floor

I recommend staying elsewhere!

The pool was open and it was conveniently located right off the interstate.

We had to come back twice when checking in because our room wasn’t ready. I was told I would get a discount and that didn’t happen. My card was charged twice and no one at the front desk will answer the phone. The room was dirty and looked like it wasn’t even cleaned.

The bed was not a queen and mattress was shot my husband and I rolled to the center like a hot dog in a bun lumpy didn't get much sleep at all room was terrible for the price we paid very disappointing to have that on our vacation

Having 3 beds in one room. Very roomy and clean.

Clean & comfy room had what was needed

Very nice pool area. Breakfast had some different options to choose from. Room was clean & had all we needed.

A little pricey, but it provided what we needed for staying in Spearfish.

The room stayed nice and cool with the a/c turned down. The pool and hot tub were great. That's about it.

After driving for 12 hrs with 3 young kids, we attempted to check in.There were men sitting outside the front entry drinking tequila & beer and playing loud music. One man was sitting in his car watching us walk in and out for quite a while ( we left for groceries and came back, too.. He was still watching! It really made me feel uneasy. Then..when we checked in, the guy at the desk was really rude. He acted bothered we were even there. We had 3 rooms reserved months ago (I have 5 older kids). Two rooms were on the 3rd floor..and 1 on the first floor. I asked which one of them was facing the pool, because the description made it sound like one had a pool view .He said the 1st floor and he threw his hands in the air and said I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do about it. I wasn't even complaining..I simply asked. But..I soon discovered ALL the rooms are open to the pool area. There is no "pool view". I don't know what his problem was. I'm guessing overworked and under staffed..and having a bad day. The whole hotel is humid and warm due to the pool centrally located. The rooms all surround the pool area. Our room a/c cooled it nicely though. There are only stairs. So hauling everything up was a chore, too. We were on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was pretty much just coffee, juice, cereal or waffles. We skipped it and checked out. The checkout guy was friendly...and had a beautiful dog working the desk with him, too. He really brightened our morning. Won't stay here again, though.

The layout was nice.

Pool was cold and dirty, hot tub was really dirty and had a funky smell. Rooms were outdated, the TV was tiny.

Was told we'd have a king room. Ended up with 2 queen beds. Smelled Like animals and dog next door. I'm allergic let this be known before stay. It was supposed to be a nice 34th anniversary getaway. But ended up swollen eyes and no able to breath

We had a great room next to the pool. It was quiet and clean and comfortable with friendly and attentive staff! Yay!

Great place to stay for the area attractions. Clean.

We used the pool and hot tub every day and it (the room) was very clean compared to other places.

Nothing I can think of. Liked this place a lot and was central to all our tourism we did around the area.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Desiree was kind enough to grant me a late checkout after my bike race.

It was easy to get in and out of and the pool was very refreshing.
