Horror hotel

Alles viel ons tegen. We kwamen aan en er stond maar 1 wagen, wat achteraf niet raar was. De aanblik van het hotel zag er niet uit. Zeer verwaarloosd. De kamer rook muf, vieze gordijnen die half voor de raam hingen. Vieze handdoeken. Gore kussens op het bed. Vieze gekreukelde lakens. Gore vloerbedekking met vlekken. Muffe koelkast met de plakresten van de vorige bewoners er nog in. Verslaafden tegenover het hotel. We zijn nog geen 15 minuten binnen geweest en heel snel "gevlucht" naar een ander hotel.

We had a comfortable stay.

It was a good location and a comfortable room.

The ice machine was empty but the manager gave us some cold otterpops for our cooler.

Short stay on the way to Ashland

The staff was welcoming and helpful and the place had everything we needed. The room was fresh and clean - none of the stink of some cleaning supplies that you come across in some of the less expensive hotels.

The people checking in and early morning staff are incredibly helpful and friendly; if we went to the local Mexican restaurant, they would have offered 10% off the restaurant bill when mentioning the motel. The whole place gives an air of 'no one really comes here' but it was fine for an overnight stay.

The facilities are a bit run down, and there didn't seem to be anyone else there (except strange people in the breakfast room-were they customers? were they homeless? Who knows!!) It was kind of creepy.

Location, close to I-5.

Breakfast was seriously lacking. Plus the breakfast room was very hard to get into. We ended up going to McDonald's for coffee.

Staff is friendly and allows late check in. Brian and Fernando were very helpful and patient in answering all my questions. The breakfast was fresh and rooms were clean.

Wonderful service and clean rooms.

Great customer service from Bryan and Fernando who helped us get the best room for us. The room was clean and breakfast was good. For the price it was amazing.

Appearance of property could be nicer but the rooms are simple and clean.

Dont bring swim trunks

Bed was comfortable. Owner was nice. He was trying.

Used hypodermic needles in view. Swimming pool was completely filthy. I couldn't quit thinking about guests dirty hands to get ice. No scoop no push button dispenser.

Staff was about the only good thing about this property. They were very friendly and helpful

My expectations were pretty low going into this, however, it was even worse than I expected. It is very old and run-down and there was construction/repair going on all over the property. It looked like a construction site. The room didn't look like it had been updated since the place opened (probably in the 60s). Room needed new carpet and a deep clean. We bought a blanket to lay over the bead because we were afraid to lay on the old comforter on the bed. Batteries in remote were dead. Ice machine was not working - they said they hadn't de-winterized it yet. Pool wasn't open yet and full of dirt and debris. If this place was in a bad part of town, I would have certainly gone to a different place. Chose this place based on reviews, so, not sure why the reviews are fairly good. Hate to write bad reviews, but, unfortunately, this place is deserving of it. Owner(s) needs to invest some money to update/clean up the rooms.

We were travelling and choose this motel for location.

The room was clean and continental breakfast was minimal (due to covid) but coffee was good. The staff were very friendly and security was good with cameras in the parking lot.

There was construction going on that made the motel look run down, but the staff explained what repairs were going on, so it made more sense.

Pretty good motel

Fernando was very nice. The satin top sheet on the bed was a nice touch.

The mini-fridge was tiny! I had to rotate things in and out because all my food didn't fit. And I didn't realize that it was unplugged. I put things in when I got to my room, then left. I came back and realized that it's not cold in there.

it was superclean and very uncomplicated and simpel. we really liked it there and will stay there again for a night on our way back from Cali to Washington!
