Most excellent stay at Arlo SoHo

We chose Arlo SoHo for the location and cost, and both were excellent. Our room was cozy and the hotel is convenient for walking downtown. There are dining options, a rooftop bar, and a small food and coffee bodega in the lobby.

bedroom was tiny - shower leaked and there was a hair in my bed. nowhere to put the luggage. toilet door didn't close properly- very disappointing experience and so eclectics

Warm staff in a great neighbourhood

The staff were delighteful. We had Stephen check us in and he couldn't have been more helpful. The location was perfect to where we needed to be and the room was clean with a comfy bed. I liked the idea they covered the use of the citi bikes and had access to a bear by gym. It was a solid hotel stay

It was expensive but I guess everywhere is in manhattan

Clean. Spacious room for nyc. Fridge in room. Amazing location - close (walking distance) to centre of soho and also the west village. Brilliant friendly staff. 24/7 bodega. Great vibes in hotel - cool, trendy, young.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in the perfect location to explore NYC

Perfect location, close to all the excitement of the West Village but in a quieter (and not so hectic) area, with easy access to subway stations and some lovely cafes. The room and furniture had a beautiful, modern, clean design, and the beds were extremely comfortable. While the room itself was quite small, this is normal for many hotels in New York, and it was the perfect room to collapse in after a massive day of taking in the city. The rooftop bar and other hotel facilities were beautiful, and our room also had a decent view. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating, particularly Danny and Bersalia, who were an absolute delight every day. This hotel was a wonderful base for my first time in New York City, and I would definitely stay here again.

The shower and toilet set-up in the room made things a bit awkward - the toilet and shower stalls faced the beds directly, with a see-through partition and a sliding door (also see-through) that is not designed to fully close. This means that if you're using the shower or toilet, any other guests can pretty much see/hear/smell what's going on in there. I'm sure this would fine for certain guests travelling together, however my friend and I needed a bit more privacy so would occasionally have to vacate the room while the other used the amenities (luckily there were lots of lovely spaces for us to hang out in at the hotel). I also would have loved it if there was an electric kettle with tea and coffee in the room (however I'm not sure if this is a normal feature in American hotel rooms).

PHENOMENAL!!! :)

This hotel was the most beautiful hotel I’ve stayed in in New York! Not only does it smell amazing in the lobby- but, the staff go above and beyond in making you feel at home! They do everything they can to make you feel welcome and comfortable!! Location is right near the red line for the subway which connects to everywhere including the LIRR at GCS. We brought our boys (17 and 19) here for their first trip to New York and the choice for them to have the twin bunk room was a hit! Both rooms were extremely clean and all you need for sleeping after a long day of exploring! Highly recommend and would return without hesitation! THANK YOU!!

Cute hotel but not worth the price

The location was nice and the hotel was cute. It had a nice coffee bar with a barista in the lobby. Our room had a cool view.

Check in was a slow process. Also, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. I filter reviews by comfy beds because I have a lot of chronic pain, and previous reviews said this hotel had comfortable beds. However, the bed was quite hard. My husband can typically sleep anywhere, but he had trouble sleeping due to the bed.

Perfect location, very nice people working at the hotel but too small room with no wardrobe

The location over all, it is perfect to go walking anywhere.

The rooms are too small, but that is not the problem. The problem is that there is no wardrobe in the room, so you are forced to leave the suitcases in the floor all the days and the room feels even more small and untidy, which it is not pleasant at all. Besides, it would have been great if the cleaning of the room was a bit more deeper.

Die Lage ist super, gleich an der Subway und mit vielen Lokalen in der Nähe. Hotel Bar und Restaurant sind auch zu empfehlen.

L'emplacement est vraiment super, a 2 pas des quartiers animés et branchés de Soho et Greenwich. Lieux communs agreables + Personnel tres aimables

Les chambres sont vraiment petites. Il est indiqué sur le site 14m2 ce qui est pour 2 vraiment petit. Les lieux de vie commune (salon, lobby, bar) sont agreables

Fabulous front desk staff and lots of hangout spots.

Amazing front desk staff. Candy/coffee/frose in the lobby. Lots of common lounge areas.

Service on the roof our second night (Friday) was awful; after we waited 15 minutes to order, it took another 30 minutes to get drinks, and the chips and guac never arrived. Need more hooks in the room for two people to hang clothes.

The room was very small, but it got the job done. The staff was very friendly, we were always greeted as we entered and left the hotel.

Staff was accommodating when I told them I wasn’t happy with the experience.

Rooms aren’t worth the money. Most city view rooms are just facing another building. Rooms feel outdated and dirty. You can easily hear your neighbors. And it’s not in the middle of soho which I didn’t think would be an issue but it was annoying walking 10-15 min to everything.
