Great place to visit.

Everyone on staff was a pleasure to deal with. Rooms were very clean and very comfortable. Location was walking distance to everything.

I would definitely stay here again. You can't beat the location.

I love the location of On the Beach. Playland and the pier are a short walk away, and at night, I could hear the waves and beach sounds which I love. I was also surprised at how quiet the area gets at night, despite being so close to the Pier and downtown OOB. The staff was very nice and helpful. The property is very clean. Some area rugs in the room would be nice, but I understand that being so close to the beach sand in the rooms could be an issue.

I can't really think of anything I didn't like about the hotel, maybe with the exception of having to take out my own trash - isn't that what housekeeping is for? I was also surprised that there were only four TV channels. Clearly I wasn't there to watch TV, but for the time that I was in the room the choices were a little lacking.

Fun, affordable.

Loved how close the location was to the beach and other things to do ~ golf, amusement park, arcade, the pier and food places. The pool was clean and perfect temp. They give you a room also for the sand you bring in the motel.

I think everything was perfect as is.

Our new favorite place to stay at OOB. Looking forward to going back.

The room was clean and spacious with newer mattresses. Loved having a cabinet to put food away and a table with 4 chairs to eat at. We loved the salt water heated pool. It was so clean and relaxing!

The drain in the tub was a little slow and would get a little backed up. I would have to put the shower on low to let it drain.

Pick this place if you're staying in the area!

Friendly, professional staff. Very organized and simple check in. Room and common areas are very clean! You could tell there have been recent updates to the rooms, and care is taken keeping it look fresh. Microwave and mini fridge in the room. Location was perfect, right on the beach. Proximity to the pier, etc was conveniently close (less than 10 min walk) but just far enough to not be bothered by the sounds of it all. Great deal, probably the best in the area. Would 100% stay here again.

It's a great motel/small hotel, and my comparisons to the surrounding options make it clear that this one is probably one of the best in the area and excels at everything I would expect from lodging in this area/at this price point, etc. So keeping that in mind if I had to say anything negative... it's certainly not the Four Seasons; don't expect a 5 Star Hotel. But definitely select this place if you're looking around this beach.

Last minute travel..owner was nice. Room was nice compared to most beach motels! Was given a beautiful view of the ocean. And a heated pool . We will be coming back.

The hotel manager was gracious and personalble, stopped by why we were sitting on deck and chatted.

The room was clean and comfy. The view of the ocean was awesome. Short walk to downtown and peer.

location was perfect! JJ was a great host too! we felt very welcomed and taken care of.

pool was not open yet where neighboring hotel pool was.

Superb

The bed was super comfortable. Shower was nice and hot with good water pressure. Close enough to walk out to the beach at sunrise. Two rooms to rest and relax.

Price was increased for the Columbus Day weekend, even though it's October and everything closed for off-season. Parking was a bit tricky and tight. Got last spot, came back late.

Absolutely beautiful

The location is perfect,right on beach, the owner JJ is a awesome guy , felt very welcoming and, sunrises cannot be beat , will be booking for next summer, cannot wait .

Only complaint was a little bit of rain last morning of the stay , but that’s uncontrollable

I've stayed in 5 stars hotels in vegas, times square, florida, italy, egypt and this is one of the most expensive and most regulated I've ever seen. the garbage in the room we need to put it out was the absurdity of I've ever seen in a hotel that charges 450 a day , and there's have a broom in the room so if you get something dirty I have to clean it... they said due covid service not every day only after 3rd day, they charge 25 dollars is you loose the tv control batteries..lol…I paid 2 nights 900 dollars, I stayed 2 hours and I came back home… also parking lot extremely tight shared with motel next door.. this is my family opinion my experience

Way too expensive for the lack of amenities.

The room was big, clean, staff was friendly.

No cable tv, WiFi was horrible, pool was very small, parking was overbooked and way too tight, shower kept turning off while in it, no drop box for keys or remotes, would not accommodate early check in and I did not see a spa tub.

First time here, surely not the last.

Ocean view. The back of the Motel parking lot leads right to the beach. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Pier. Right near everything. Staff was available and helpful at all times. We will stay here again.
