Alojarse en los departamentos del hotel es una gran experiencia.

Experiencia Excepcional: Optamos por alojarnos en un departamento en el Hotel Real Del Mayab en Playa del Carmen y quedamos completamente satisfechos con nuestra elección. El departamento ofrecía dos ambientes espaciosos y bien equipados, con todas las comodidades necesarias y más. Desde una heladera moderna hasta dos televisores y aire acondicionado, todo estaba nuevo e impecable, lo cual hizo nuestra estancia muy confortable desde el principio. Ubicación Estratégica: La ubicación del departamento es inmejorable. Está a solo dos cuadras de la Quinta Avenida y a medio camino del centro comercial, lo cual nos permitió acceder fácilmente a los principales puntos de interés como la Quinta Avenida y el Parque de los Fundadores. A pesar de estar tan cerca de las zonas turísticas, el lugar era sorprendentemente tranquilo y sin ruidos molestos durante la noche, lo que garantizó un descanso reparador. Variedad Gastronómica y Comodidades Adicionales: La cercanía de numerosos puestos de comida mexicana nos facilitó explorar diferentes sabores locales sin alejarnos demasiado del alojamiento. Además, la conveniencia de tener minimercados a solo una cuadra y una panadería justo debajo del departamento fue un gran plus. Apreciamos especialmente el servicio adicional de café y confituras que podíamos pedir y que nos entregaban directamente en el departamento, a pesar de no estar incluido en la tarifa estándar. Conclusión: En resumen, nuestra experiencia en este departamento del Hotel Real Del Mayab superó nuestras expectativas en todos los aspectos. Desde la ubicación privilegiada hasta las comodidades excepcionales y el excelente servicio recibido, recomendaríamos este lugar sin dudarlo a cualquier persona que busque alojamiento en Playa del Carmen. Fue una elección acertada que contribuyó significativamente a hacer de nuestro viaje una experiencia memorable y cómoda.

Un aspecto que podría mejorar notablemente en el Hotel Real Del Mayab es su capacidad de estacionamiento. Durante nuestra estancia, notamos que el estacionamiento disponible en el frente del hotel era extremadamente limitado, con espacio solo para aproximadamente 5 autos. Afortunadamente, debido a que visitamos durante la temporada baja, no experimentamos problemas para encontrar lugar. Sin embargo, nos preocuparía cómo manejarían la situación si el hotel estuviera completamente lleno. Dado que Playa del Carmen es un destino turístico popular, es comprensible que la demanda de estacionamiento pueda ser alta en ciertos momentos del año. Sería beneficioso para el hotel considerar opciones para mejorar o ampliar su capacidad de estacionamiento, especialmente durante los períodos de mayor afluencia turística. Esto no solo mejoraría la experiencia del cliente, sino que también evitaría posibles inconvenientes y aseguraría que todos los huéspedes tengan acceso a un estacionamiento seguro y conveniente. En general, el Hotel Real Del Mayab ofrece excelentes instalaciones y servicios, pero mejorar la gestión del estacionamiento podría ser una forma efectiva de garantizar una experiencia aún más satisfactoria para todos los visitantes.

Excelent location with friendly staff

Excellent location, less than 5 mins walk to ADO Bus Station and 5th Avenue. Had the benefit of enjoying the lively and noisy 5th Avenue, but with the ability to return to a quiet hotel for a good nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The Chamber Maid's origami with bathroom towels suprised and delighted us each day. Would definitely stay here again.

cosy!

amazing location! Carlos (owner) and his staff are super friendly and very helpful. they also kindly kept our luggage for two days while we visited another place down the coast. there is an amazing turtle ornament collection in the reception which I meant to take a pic of- collected over years! nice big room also!

only thing I would maybe do to the room I was in was update the shower a bit ( still worked and was hot etc!)

Really good first stay in Mexico

My partner and I stayed here in November for a few days. Great position as it is close to the ferry terminal, bus terminal and beginning of the Quinta Avenida. Really quiet at night. Clean and big rooms with big bathroom where we managed to wash our scuba equipments (we are divers) and let them dry on one side of the room. One of the best thing is that they have water for free for clients! Mattress was a good and hard one. The room can be really hot but it had air-con and fan on the ceiling which helped really a lot. We booked a whole day trip to Chichen Itza through the reception of the hotel from one day to another and they picked us up exactly at the agreed time in front of the hotel. Lots of taxis in front of the hotel too at any time of the day. Small fridge, hangers, locker, towels, soap bar and shampoo locally made and available in the room

The heat in the room at night was too much (I don't like to have air-con on), and the window was not enough to bring fresh air in. No possibility of having breakfast (which is something that I usually appreciate), but it looks like they stopped making breakfasts when covid started

Very nice hotel

Really nice place! Located 5 minutes walk to Cozumel ferry pier, next to big commercial center at the southern end of main pedestrian Playa del Carmen walk, 5th Avenue. Quiet, rooms large and comfortable, fast Wifi, internal patio. Good also for longer stays.

No swimming pool, would make the place really great :-)

Our stay is excellent. We will be coming back and for sure would love to stay in the same hotel.

The place is perfect for all activities and very near to the action area. Excellent location and very nice staff.

Require very little improvement on bathroom toiletries and facilities.

These Hotel its good only for short stays like mine 2 days was enough, What I like about the place its it location, convenient, and it was clean!

I didn't like it was a little dingy, and bathroom was humid, hot, and only one towel per guess!

Lovely hotel, excellent location

Location was excellent. Liked the strong WiFi & the cold drinking water available. The shower was hot & powerful.

Easy going, good location and nice staff.

They cleaned extremely well and everyday unless you posted on your door. They helped me get in touch with another guest to exchange pictures in a professional manor. The front desk speaks English and housekeeping (arrived when front desk was closed) worked with us very well even through our language barrier. Location is great 5 minutes from beach and away from any bar/club with live music. And the AC left you shivering cold in the morning it was glorious.

I'll be honest the wifi was not great but it doesn't seem like most hotels do unless staying at a big chain but besides that everything was great.

Worth the price!

The location was amazing. It made us regret even renting a car. There was EVERYTHING imaginable within a 5-10 minute walk.

We didn’t sleep very well due to uncomfortable beds and pillows and loud music coming from clubs/bars nearby.

The Lady in the reception was incredibly nice and tried everything to make our stay convenient. Hotel is close to the City centre and to beaches. Ado train only a couple minutes away

Very good

The location is perfect. It’s close to the ferry to Cozumel and you can easily go on foot to the beach and to many restaurants around. The staff is friendly.

Playa del Carmen is kind of a “party place” so there are lots of bars and discos with loud music. It was quite annoyning as the parties ended in the morning and we couldn’t sleep :) It’s not hotel’s fault but I recommend to take ear plugs with you. Also the bed wasn’t really comfy. But for the price is this hotel a good choice.
