Most disappointing!!!

The view was excellent. George helped us with luggage.

All equipment in chalet very outdated and filthy. Place needs a proper clean up. It is a very steep climb from the parking area to the chalet without proper stairs. For pensioners (over 70), it was most uncomfortable getting our luggage and eatables for the evening from the vehicle to the chalet. Solar system did not operate, had to shower and wash dishes in ice cold water.

Was soothing and refreshing. The area is so quiet and good for winding

The place offers a nice view and the guys there are so friendly. They must add more road posters. I loved the magic tree and the waterfalls.

Gorgeous view in the Eastern Highlands

Incredible view! Roger was helpful to talk to about the area. Fireplace was an added nice touch! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the birds and scenery. Looks into Mozambique!

Road is bad, we had an SUV never had to kick it into 4x4 so that's not a requirement. Just slower going.

Madrugada was a home away from home. Enjoyed the fresh air and quite atmosphere. The host and staff were friendly and helpful. Would love to revisit

Amazing views but seriously over represented on booking.com

The views are Beautiful

Rooms were dirty. Dead bugs, grimy sticky kitchen table. Pretty gross No WiFi. No restaurant or breakfast.

The Madrugada Chalet set in the mountainside is a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. You can experience the exquisite sunrise over the border mountains with Mozambique in your very own balcony or just by lying in bed and letting the sun greet you each day. On-site staff provided exceptional service. It is essential to have a 4-wheel drive vehicle to reach this hidden gem, located just minutes from Vumba Botanical Gardens. We highly recommend that you stay here for an unforgettable experience.

My stay was fine though we couldn't connect to Wifi ,Roger did you do something to your WiFi ?

I liked the chalet ,the 6 bedroomed one it's magnificent the way it was built,the building materials of stonework and timber .they really complete so well with the environment where the chalets are .

The road . It's so bad yoooo ! Pot holes and if it's wet that means low clearance cars will find difficulty to get to the place .

Vumba is beautiful, our host was so kind, he took us around and we got to have many brilliant experiences. We saw the Chinamata waterfalls, the botanical garden and went horse riding. Best experience of 2020
