Great stay just what we needed and would stay again

Location great and clean and tidy nice and warm with heaters on

Location, good facilities, clean and spacious

Fairly basic quality of furnishings gave slightly uncomfortable sitting area. Though every domestic requirement was catered a feel more mobile home than hotel comfort

Absolutely perfect stay.

The apartment was within easy walking distance from all shops, restaurants and attractions within York City. Excellent service from the management team allowing us early access for parking on arrival. The Xmas treats and Prosecco was a very welcoming surprise. Very well equipped.

Very comfortable and cosy.

Quiet location, but very handy for all the amenities. Lovely apartment and well equipped.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the aerial so both tv’s were very hit and miss. I had my elderly mother with me who particularly wanted to watch tv but couldn’t do this when she wanted to. The microwave was broken so we couldn’t use it. The management company were very quick to respond and explained that there was a problem with the local transmitters and would replace the microwave the following day.

Perfect stay

The flat is fully equipped, there isn't anything you need it doesn't have. Tea, coffee, milk, butter, sugar, salt...everything. It is on a very quiet street, yet walk a few minutes, you are in the centre and the busy Shambles market. There is a private and secure parking on the premise for a reasonable charge. Chris is so helpful, we decided to take the train to Edinburgh and leave the car, he quickly worked out parking for us. Brilliant. Thank you.

4 croissants for 3 people was tricky! Bed settee was a bit uncomfortable and difficult to manoeuvre

100% coming back to the perfect home from getaway!

Everything needed for a perfect getaway! Host was lovely, inviting and excellent communication before and during stay. Everything was in the apartment including games and toiletries. Very clean, modern and the Location was perfect. 2 mins to the nearest pub and 7 mins to Shambles.

We felt parking was a little steep and an extra expense if staying for any longer, but we also appreciate and understand car was secure and gated with cctv.

Pleasant apartment in the city centre.

The location, the facilities in the apartment, the little extras provided. We felt secure in the building. The two bedrooms are a generous size. Nice garden separate from the apartment. It was nice and warm despite no heating being on. Close to the river, city centre, shops, restaurants, bars.

Don't like to moan but the second bedroom has a fan in the ceiling which we couldn't see how to turn off... maybe it's because there aren't any windows in the room that it's required?? I was so glad I had ear plugs otherwise I couldn't have slept for the hum. There was a fair bit of people noise from the street during the early hours of the morning but we realise we were in a city centre and people go home late from clubs. Sooooo.... apart from night time disturbance everything else was fine.

Highly recommended as a base for a holiday in York and excellent, easily accessible parking on site

We were so grateful for the good communication from Amanda and Helen. Getting into the property was a breeze and it was great to have the juice, tea and coffee etc. Wonderful to have a washing machine when on a long trip. Could not ask for a better location, so close to shops and walking distance to all attractions. Very comfy living spaces.

The only issue for us was room for big suitcases so those in the smaller of the two rooms had to have theirs in the hall. Would not be a problem for those travelling just for a weekend, and this is not a complaint - just a heads up!

Perfect!

Amazing location, just a short walk over the bridge to all the shops. Amanda and Helen were so lovely and welcoming! The apartment was clean and spacious with everything we needed for our stay. They even provided some milk, juice, jam, butter and croissants for some breakfast. the shower was lovely and hot and the kitchen was very well equipped. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Fantastic propery, great location.

Excellent location, met at property for smooth entry / handover. Parking at location very secure, gated entry. Very short walk to main centre of York. Fantastic accommodation, would highly recommend.

Wonderful few days away in a lovely city staying in a superb apartment that we all loved.

Breakfast good. Location amazing. Property spotless, attractively furnished and very comfortable. Contact with host easy and clear. Would definitely recommend. If visiting York again would rebook apartment.

Perfect

Perfect location, the hosts were super friendly and checked in with us to make sure all was going well. Even went through a few of the nice restaurants and take always in the area to visit. The apartment looked better in person, super comfy and clean and the beds were all very comfortable. It was quiet throughout the building and even at nighttime.

Only thing would be the facilities in the kitchen. It was pretty well stocked but we couldn’t find any baking trays or anything to use in the oven when cooking food.

Close to town. Nice apartment. Tea, coffee and sugar and milk left for us, nice touch.

Apartment was close to town centre. It was easy to find and amanda checked us in. Apartment was nicely furnished with everything you needed. Parking was secure but cost £30 for two nights. The only negatives i would say are that part of the day you are on a very busy loud road, buses and lorrys. We had the furthest bedroom from the road but we did not have a window and it got unbearably hot at night.
