KEEP CLEAR FROM HERE

A bed and a bathroom. Nothing more. Max they should have charged is 20euro/night.

Dump smell umbereable. Room supersmall, not even the space for a chair. Curtain to screen the glass door to the room too short and too narrow. Old mattress falling on one side. Creepy location in narrow streets with almost no street lights. Self checkin. Once in, there's a messy lobby with 4 room doors. Overall look sloppy and cheap. The shower didn't drain, so short shower to avoid overflowing. I asked them to book for a taxi for me and it was filthy in and outside. The driver asked me to pay him on the road rather than once at destination and then made a huge fuss about me paying in euro rather than liras despite the guesthouse personnel confirmed me euro was ok. Driver had no change in euro so I had to walk with him in the airport to get change.

Nice Guesthouse

Great varied breakfast.

Somewhat confusing to find, but that would apply anywhere in the Old Town of Lefkosa. The room was a bit on the tight side.

A charming and restful place

There is a nice patio, where you can enjoy a delicious and fresh breakfast (kahvalti). Only 3 rooms are available in this charming and friendly family home, which has been tastefully renovated by the owner, Ayşe. In my room, although small, everything was there: a comfortable bed, soft pillows, a small fridge for hot weather and a shower room... Don't forget to bring a plug adaptor as this is Cyprus, rather like England. We drive on the right here, so be careful before crossing the road... if you're not used to. Pedieos Guest House is a good address, a 15-minute walk from Ledras street, the border between Lefkosa (to the north) and Nicosia (to the south)! At last, Ayşe is a nice person. She speaks a bit English and is very helpfull.

My room was on the small side, for example, it was hard to move around the bed. However, there were a lot of hooks up so there was room to put your things. If your are not a neat and tidy person, you would find this room challenging.

Superb

This guesthouse is very good, we enjoyed our stay. It is very near to the center of the old town in north Nicosia. The room is very cozy , the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed an AMAZING breakfast, with fresh lemonade cheese and eggs, prepared with a lot of love and care on the spot. We really appreciated the decoration and the love for details and would definitely come back . If you are looking for a very authentic and pleasant experience in Nicosia this is the place to go ! Thank you again for everything!

Nice central place, however...

Clean room, easy check-in, room has all the necessary comforts for the price we paid. Homemade jams and lemonade at breakfast were lovely. Very central Nicosia location. Good air conditioner. Minifridge in room. Enough sockets for everyone.

We are regular travelers to old Nicosia and - even though it's not expensive - this has been the most we paid for a bed and breakfast in Nicosia north. Despite paying for a deluxe double room, we spent the night slipping down the gap between two single beds pushed together. The room had obvious signs of damp, with paint and plaster peeling off in many places. It was also extremely bright first thing in the morning, as not enough has been done in terms of shading to block the blinding, hot, morning light.

Breakfast was excellent olive bread,cheese,toast ,preserves,eggs,home made lemon juice and fresh coffee.

Maybe in the warmer temperatures a top sheet would be sufficient but overall very comfortable.

EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL

I loved this nice home, we reserved all rooms, and this experience was like be at home. The furniture was amazing and the rooms small but so nice. The breakfast was full of natural products. Everything was special and the owner was always ready to explain and help us. We loved this part of Nicosia, a smart land with a lot of nice coffe and restaurant where you can find typical food!

charming authentic guest house

The location is very good, very clean and very charming place. The owner of the guest house was very friendly and she gave us recommendations for all the touristic attractions and for local food. We had a wonderful breakfast with local produce and home made marmalades and lemonade. So much love and care put into this guesthouse! We will definitely come back to Pedieos!

The place was super nice, had a nice balcony, the room was beautiful as well The best part of our stay was the breakfast, the host was super nice! The breakfast was too good, we were served authentic homemade food, from bread, butter, jams, olives, cheeses, eggs, coffee... A lot. This made our stay and she was really kind

The only I can point out but it is not about the actual stay, it's the surroundings. This place is inserted in an area that looks kind of shady but as far as we saw, it was like this all around, you'll get used to it no worries Plus it's at a close walking distance to the bars and restaurants

The best ond most lovely place to stay on our trip to Cyprus. It was like a luxurious oasis in the slightly rugged but authentic surroundings of North Nicosia. Everything was topped off with an exquisite breakfast on the roof terass from the hostess, including lemonade from lemons from her father's garden and other local delicacies. Breakfast was accompanied by good taste music. Hostess gave us good tips to visit places out of touristic routes.

Very good

The owner is super friendly and helpful. She makes an amazing breakfast every morning. It's a cute little place on a quiet street and easy to walk everywhere. WiFi is good and bed is really comfy.

The host declined to arrange a driver from the airport, so I had to wait for half the plane to leave with their arranged drivers until I could find a taxi and he got lost multiple times. The information on how to get into the guesthouse was only sent a few hours before I arrived, and I had no internet access to be able to read the instructions. Luckily, another guest was there to let me in.

Superb

We absolutely loved the owner and her wonderful hospitality and kindness - meeting her really made this stay for us! It was also the very best breakfast we had the whole time we were in Northern Cyrus and for me it was even better than one we had at a five star hotel . Her personal touches and fabulous home made jams were so special. Try the lemon and ginger jam it really was something special ! Thanks again for hosting us !

A home away from home, a real sense of Turkish Cypriot community. Excellent place.

The kindest host we have met in Cyprus. The breakfast in the sunny roof was AMAZING, all local produce, prepared by her. Easy access to the place, proper real neighbourhood, quiet, extremely comfortable bed, free fruit, every single detail was taken care of. We loved the fact that it was a renovated house and the host left us at our own leisure, we could stay for as long as we want on our leaving day. We couldn't have asked for more. Very good value for money.

This place was simply the best in so many aspects. The house has only three rooms that are small but super practical and tidy. Thanks to the owner (whose hospitality is out of this world) you feel as if you are visiting your favourite aunt. She took great care of us, prepared opulent and divine breakfast, provided us with all the information we needed (placesnto visit and how to get there etc.) She always tooknan extra step :-)

Very nice decor of the property, it has its own unique charm. Breakfast was copious and with effort and care from the owner that provided the service on the sun kissed terrace.

Better curtains on both sections. They were a little tricky to pull without pulling it all down. Perhaps a little attachment to make it easier.

A wonderful place to stay in Lefkosa

The host was a lovely lady who made me feel at home and offered to upgrade my room after the first night. The breakfast was really excellent: a fantastic range of fresh dishes on the lovely sunny terrace and a charming owner who was very helpful with recommendations.

Traditional small house convenient for the old town

Traditional style renovated property. Close to everything in the old town. Moved, without having to ask, to a slightly bigger room for our second night. Breakfast was nice.

The room we had for the first night was tiny. With only a very small high up window that was difficult to reach to close.

Excellent little find in the heart of North Nicosia!

Beautifully renovated property, the ladies who run Pedieos were wonderful and breakfast was superb (the homemade Hellim muffins and lemonade were a particular treat!!)

Whilst the bedrooms are comfortable, they are a little compact and it would be useful to have somewhere separate to store larger luggage.
