About this house rental
This private oceanfront home has 4 levels, 9-bedrooms, and includes new appliances, a fresh layout, and panoramic doors. Upon entering the street level of the complex, there is a large kitchen featuring both a bar top and dining table to eat at. In addition, there is also a quaint breakfast nook. 2 bedrooms lay on this level, each with an ensuite. Right outside the living space, is your own private deck, which allows you to overlook the gorgeous Pacific Ocean. As you step down to the 1st level/beach level, you are met with yet another kitchen and living space, along with 2 more additional bedrooms. The view right outside the living space is beyond spectacular. Panoramic doors open up and allow you direct access to the beach. Great for airflow, panoramic doors also allow guests to control how much of a breeze comes and what may or may not obstruct your perfect view of the beach. Want to feel the ocean breeze and the sea mist hit your face? No problem, just pop open 1 or more of your panoramic door panels. If you stroll up to 3rd/upper level of the unit, there are 4 more bedrooms present, with a majority of them having fantastic ocean views. This level also has its' own private deck, allowing guests to enjoy their morning coffee or late afternoon beer while lounging outside and gazing upon the sunrise or sunset. Last, but not least, tenants can take stairs up to the rooftop deck. The rooftop deck has been newly renovated with artificial grass, allowing people to lay down comfortably and soak in the sun, as opposed to being on cold, hard concrete.

First thing you notice is a 2'x3' sign saying property is under permit for renovation and converted to 3 condos. Stepping inside, you can see that they haven't invested a dime in years and are getting ready to convert it. The bath rooms are antiquated, the furniture is very worn, only 3 tv's in a 9 bedroom house, kitchenware is from Goodwill, etc. The lighting is all on timers and I had the bathroom go dark while in the shower. Lucky I didn't slip soaking wet searching for the switch. It was not my first rodeo in renting big beach houses for the family and this one needs a major facelift. Way, way too expensive for the quality of the property. The property manager was superb though, replacing broken chairs and coffee makers quickly. The location and the beach was fabulous. Too many other options in the area, pass on this one.

Beautiful location - woke up to the ocean on the rocks, but in the afternoon with low tide, we had beautiful sunny walks along the beach. The house was large enough to accommodate our family of 10, with lots of extra space. The rooftop has an amazing view and a hot tub. We enjoyed our stay. They offered portable ice makers on bottom and street-level kitchenette areas. One was broken. Within a couple of hours of reporting it, they brought us a new one. It was really nice having the portable ice-maker. We would definitely consider staying again.

This was the worst of all the places we have stayed on VRBo. Yes. there were lots of bedrooms but imagine 6 bedrooms downstairs, including the one with the bunks and no bathroom.
The living room has a big couch but the seating is so deep, no one was comfortable with bring a pillow from their rooms. The carpet under the table was dirty . There were no extra towels until we called. They said, everone brings their own. In all the time we have used VRBO, we know of no one that brings their own. Several of the electrical outlets in our bathroom did not work. Never repaired.. The heating is terrible. Yes there are high ceiling but we were either to hot or too cold. If we turned up the heat to try to get the living room warm, the bedrooms became unbearable.
The kitchen is well seetocked but the coffee maker is up so high that I could not make a cup without help. The microoven was the same. So high I could not use it without help .Lucky i had some tall grandchildren with me...We did enjoy the large dining room where we could all eat together...I dont know what to tell you except look around before you choose this place..For what you will pay to use this place, go someplace else

Absolutely no customer service. Left many messages and manager would not return my call. Lights kept turning off during our stay. Water damage on the floor in garage and my friend almost slipped. Would not recommend or ever return with beachfront properties.

Perfect for Work & Rest
This location was easy to get to the beach views were priceless. Our entire team needed a space like this one to work and rest. We had prompt responses from the property management team and they were so helpful. It was like they anticipated our questions before we could ask and communicated information to us ahead of time.

Hi there, I actually did have some feedback regarding this stay. I have stayed with Beachfront many times and have referred many people to your company. I have always been extremely satisfied with your properties and hospitality. However this property in particular, 1643 S Pacific Street, was disappointing and dirty. The entire property was not cleaned sufficiently, there were clear dirt marks and sticky stains in many places through the property. I'm addition some bedding was still soiled, there were wrappers and garbage left around. The water was not turned on for a while before our stay which makes me wonder how the property was even "cleaned" when the water was off. It took maintenance 2hours to turn in on after our check in so my entire family of 16 were unable to use the restrooms after a long travel day. In addition there were many fruit fly's in the kitchen sink and it smelled. I also found 3 or 4 roaches in the house during our stay which is completely unacceptable. Lastly, the back patio has no lighting past the porch so a guest fell off the patio injuring their shoulder. I would like someone to contact me regarding a credit back, this stay did not live up to the standards set by Beachfront. I was completely unsatisfied and uncomfortable during our stay.

Dream vacation
The property was in the perfect location! The views on almost every room was amazing. I was worried about having sand on the beach below the rocks, but in low tide, there was sand and it was great. We never had to leave our house, it was wonderful.

Inside was clean. Some doors/walls were dirty. Light colored couches in den on 2nd flr need cleaning. Bedroom curtains need changing...old and dusty. Outside was bad...chipping paint, cleaning tools left out, missing chair cushions, very rusty grill....was all an eye sore. House should be beautiful inside and out. We were all disappointed to see that. Especially for the cost of the home.

This beachfront home was perfect for our 6 families to come together and celebrate our parent's 60th anniversary. The home had great sound proofing and space, where people could find quiet places when others gathered in common areas. The decks provided beautiful ocean views. The house has lots of stairs, but the street level had everything a less mobile person needs including a bedroom with a wide doorways into the room and bathroom. The Beachfront team provided great customer service and the house was well maintained and kitchen well stocked with pots pans plates bowels glasses utensils serving dishes, baking sheets etc. The backyard was good sized and getting down to the beach was doable, but because of high tide, beach access was limited to low tide hours. Lots of parking on the street for our 6 cars.

Amazing location!
Absolutely loved this property! Plenty of space for multiple families to stay together and not feel like they are on top of each other or feel crowded. 3 different levels with multiple places to sleep and 4th floor to the rooftop and spa! Great views all around to catch the sunrise or watch the sunset. If you’re feeling cold, they have a ton of heaters and blankets available. There’s also plenty of parking but keep in mind if you are staying during street cleaning. I wish we could’ve stayed longer, but no worries because we hope to stay here again!!

Memorable stay
Being right on the beach was exactly what we were looking for. The house was big, open and had great air flow. The roof top was such a treat, we relaxed, ate and even had our yoga sessions there. We created memories that will last a life time. Once we checked in management was very responsive and took care of a few requests right away.

Beach House review
The house was nice overall but the floors were really dirty. I’m not sure if it was because the house was vacant for a long time or it wasn’t mopped recently. Our socks were black after walking through the house for the couple hours. Also, the heaters and a lot of the outlets were on timers and the most you could do were 4 hours. We had to get up in the middle of the night to turn them back on. I never called the company to see if there was a way to fix that so you may just want to ask.
I would be careful about the reliability of the reviews here. I called to request a late checkout and they said we could have one if we gave them a five star review. I declined.

Thanksgiving to remember
We thoroughly enjoyed our thanksgiving holiday in this terrific beachfront property. The place is huge with views of the ocean from all levels. It was immaculate and had everything we needed for our dinner preparations. The property management team was fantastic. I called them because we were out of propane and they responded in fifteen minutes. I highly recommend it especially if you have a large group.

The views were breath taking, beach access was fairly easy, house over all good but aged! One of the rooms was not usable with bank beds so short that none of us could sleep on it ( 6 sleep)! The property could be much cleaner! There were lots of little food stains on cabinet doors , also the floor didnt feel clean!

Absolutely stunning & so peaceful
We loved this property & will very likely stay here again. We ended up only having 8 of us, but we could have brought the whole clan. Everyone had privacy & plenty of places to connect as a family as well. Panoramic windows were amazing felt like the ocean came into the house we definitely look to stay again for our next large group trip

I've stayed at Oceanside every year for the last 15 years and stayed in what is now 8 different beach houses along Pacific St. This house has been the best yet.
Pros: Space, it's larger than it seems because of the top deck. Views, the breakaway walls and floor to ceiling windows are awesome! Finishes, this beach house is updated with nice finishes and quality bedding - it doesn't feel cheap anywhere. Laundry, there are so many washers & dryers which is a big deal with towels etc. Beach Access, the steps down the rocks are easy to navigate for anyone 5+ years old. Internet, it was fast and available throughout the entire house & beach.
Cons: I need to be clear, there were no significant cons - these are more recommendations for going from a 9.5 / 10 to a perfect 10. Kitchen supplies, there were some missing cooking/serving utensils. Bathrooms, it was workable, but the 3 bedrooms upstairs sharing one bath was a little inconvenient. Garage door, the keypad might need a new battery but it struggled to work for us.
There aren't enough characters allowed here for me to fully articulate how great this place was. The artificial turf on the decks was incredible. The mini AC units throughout the space kept us cool during the hot day. We had multiple families sharing the space and we never felt crowded. We plan to stay again for sure! Thanks!!

We were looking for a safe, quarantine friendly vacation and this place provided it! Check in process was a breeze, and all of the codes were perfect for a "no contact" check in. We checked in, and the house smelled VERY freshly clean and safe. The house was perfect- fridge was nice and cold, all the dishes were great. We loved the location! Right on the beach. There is an access point from the private beach, but it is a little difficult to get down- an easier one is located about a 5 minute walk down the street. Lots of take out/delivery near by. Parking situation was very easy and the garage was more than large enough to fit an SUV and a midsized sedan. Bedrooms were fantastic, nice comfortable mattresses and all the windows opened up to the ocean. The rooftop deck was awesome as well! We loved the hot tubs, one on the roof and one near the beach were great! Wifi was actually very fast; we brought an apple tv and we were able to connect that to the tv in the living room without a problem. We did not need any assistance while we were there, however it appears it would be very easy to get in touch with management. Overall, a great stay. Could not have asked for anything more!

Great stay-cation spot for a group
A group of us stayed for a short stay-cation, and this was perfect for us. Huge amounts of outdoor space right on the ocean, so we could spend almost all our time outside. Lots of bedrooms, great common areas, and the backyard area and roof decks are perfect places to spend a summers day. Easy walk or bike to lots of restaurants and stores. Great property!

My engagement party was a success, or shall I call it my mock engagement party. Only issues I had was for a huge home like this, there should be more than one small BBQ grill.
