Scam

When I arrived I was told that there was no vacancy, despite my reservation was confirmed hours ago. The only solution they offered me was another location 10km away which was very basic and not as clean. On top they charged me more!! Never in my life!!

La habitaciones son cómodas, tiene buena cercanía y espacio para los vehículos!

No se puede pagar por la aplicación ya que el método de pago está bloqueado, al llegar iba a pagar y nos cobraron impuestos que no están contemplados y después de un buen rato decidimos pagar en dólares y el cambio lo hacen a un valor mucho más alto! Pasamos casi una hora discutiendo el tema de lo que yo había aceptado por la plataforma y al final el dueño aceptó pero si fue una situación difícil e incómoda más que éramos un grupo de 11 personas.

Exceptional

The Owner, & family were so very helpful, generous, & friendly. Always there for me, made me feel like a part of the family. My very first visit to Costa Rica, & set the tone, high standard, and comparison for my entire 3 month stay in Costa Rica !

It's a beautiful remote stay in the Mountains, so you need a vehicle to get around.

They charged me more than what the reservation was claiming they had a different exchange rate. The official exchange rate was 588 x dollar the one they charged me was 650 quite a difference

convenient stop to stay

breakfast was fine at the restaurant; the local cleaning lady offered to do our clothes laundry for free (we accepted but gave her $20, for which she was very grateful). Apparently, sloths visit in the early evening, but we did not see them, as it was raining.

a room far from the road, as semi trucks use their J-brakes all the time. Thus, every now and then, there was a huge noise.

Superb

We stopped here for one night during our transit only, so the location was good for us as it was close to route 4. And although the hotel is directly on street it had no impact and room was quite. Room was clean and simple, no objections. Staff was very helpful and nice, food was great - just tell them if you dont like chilli :) we can recommend this place for sure!

It was Budget friendly. I was greeted warmly. There’s a restaurant on site.

It took 24 hours for someone to come repair the toilet so the flusher worked. Breakfast was supposed to be included but I was charged because apparently I ordered the wrong thing. I had to wait 30 minutes to checkout.

Basic, but good stay

The breakfast in the morning was basic, but yummy and much appreciated! The room was basic, but good for a night. We were glad there was AC!

The location wasn’t the best, but we were only stopping there on the way to our next destination so it didn’t matter that much to us.
