Best hotel stay!!

The staff at this hotel are so warm and welcoming! They made sure we were comfortable, and looked after us whenever we needed anything. There is a gentleman there named Shaaji - make sure you go see him! An unbelievable gentleman!

Highly recommended if you want to have a comfortable and relaxing stay in the heart of Chennai.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in central Chennai. The breakfast and dinner buffet was absolutely fabulous and definitely worth the money. Throughout our three-day stay, the buffet always had something new and different. The main reason I chose this property was the lovely swimming pool, surrounded by trees, which was perfect for my 6-year-old boy. We spent most of our time in the pool and the restaurant. I have to give a big shout-out to the incredible care and service provided by all the hotel staff - from the check-in, lobby, restaurant, swimming pool, and housekeeping to the spa. They all went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable.

I don't think there was anything that I didn't like about this property. I totally recommend it without any hesitation.

Our stay in Taj Connemara

We had an exceptional stay at the Taj Connemara, Chennai. From the moment we arrived, the welcome staff made us feel right at home, and the check-in process was incredibly smooth. The team ensured we settled in comfortably. A special highlight of our stay was the personalized culinary experience. During high tea, the chef went above and beyond by preparing customized dishes that catered perfectly to our preferences. At dinner, Yuvaraj, Arokyadas, and Shaji truly made our experience unforgettable. They took the time to understand our taste buds and offered a variety of dishes tailored to our liking. They even encouraged our kids to explore different flavors, making the meal enjoyable and engaging for them. What stood out the most was the staff's dedication to engaging with our kids, discovering their food preferences, and then crafting meals accordingly. This attention to detail and care made our stay particularly special. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff, especially Yuvaraj, Shaji, and Arokyadas, for your exceptional service. You truly made our stay memorable.

Nostalgic as we studied in Chennai and Connemara is a landmark place

A luxury hotel in a good location that met expectations.

The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of choices. There was also live music from a flautist.

Some people who had checked in late were being very loud outside my room. I had to call the Manager to tell them to go to their rooms.

Amazing hotel. Want to just stay there.

Gorgeous, sparkling, best massage, nice pool and gym. Breakfast exceptional. Dinner in the Raintree restaurant very nice (they have dancing some days).

The best part about the location is a walking distance from Amethyst.

Väldigt fint hotel och god service. Frukosten var fantastisk! och poolområdet, finrestaurangen och poolen superfint.

Svårt att få service ute vid poolområdet. De var inte heller vana vid att servera drinkar, det tog tid och blev fel. Men de var villiga att rätta till det och allt annat var fantastiskt när det gäller personal och service

Special mention of staff at the restaurant Ms.Sushmita,Ms.Tejaswi,Mr Rishabh and the Head Chef....exceptional customer service.....it was a delightful experience.The staff Ms.Tejaswi packed food for us to carry for our journey back home without we even asking for it.....Really happy with the customer service.Highly recommended.Its very close to the US Embassy for Biometrics as well as personal interview.

Could have been better

The property has a rich history and is well appointed. Staff are pleasant and hospitable. Rishab went out of his way to make the dinner an enjoyable experience. Alam and Lokanath were really good

Housekeeping staff removed an item that was of sentimental value without my permission and couldn't find it. At the time of checking out, the Operations Manager presented himself and spoke patronisingly! Clearly he hadn't taken the time nor the effort to understand the reason for my disappointment. Neither did he bother to find out the purpose of my visit to India and that I have frequented 6 Taj Properties several times in under a year!

Absolutely great service and a smile every time on every Taj staff member at the hotel. Perfect location

Bathrooms need renovation. Parts of rhe bathroom are corroding and the shower area was getting flooded very often.
