Highly recommended - great location, staff and guides

Clean and cozy rooms. Each little house has it's own balcony with river view. The main house is traditionally built, which adds atmosphere. The food was very good and the staff outstandingly friendly. But the most impressive were the tours and the guides. Super experienced, dedicated to show us everything we asked for. Big 6 out of 7 on a weekend was of course big luck, but to watch the river crossing of 4 grown lions and have them passing in only 3 meters will leave an everlasting impression. Thanks to all the great staff to make this weekend so special

The place seems to be run down and neglected. However, staff, food, excellent and lots of game.

The best staff member was the Ranger Takura who was very knowledgeable, friendly and obliging.

Although a swimming pool was advertised, there was only a very small (3x2m) pool, right next to the dining facilities and and in permanent view of the dining room staff. There was also supposed to be a rock pool. Unfortunately without water and the whole surround was in a dilapidated condition with fences broken down and no lawn around the pool.

Food is excellent. Requested a braai/bbq in the Boma. They obliged and it was an outstanding experience. Thanks to all the staff

Great spot for visiting the park and good value for money

the property is located along a river, where all kind of animals come to drink which make it a real safari lodge. The guide we had, Takuna, was exceptional. Knowledgeable, funny, helpful. The food was nice and super abundant. The rock pool they have in the premises is super nice and clean.

The facility is a bit run-down and lack maintenance. The safari trucks were very old and battered down. The chalet was nice but also needed some fixing. With a little investment this place could became the jewel it surely was in the past.

Enjoyed the stay, we had an amazing family game drive with Pride. We managed to see 4 of the big 5

The staff was phenomenal and accommodated our preferences as we traveled with 2 young children.

The bathroom, a bathtub grip mat is generally unhygienic and shouldn’t be there unless requested. Linen and towels seemed old.

Roads to improve leading to Gates to Reserve,

Statt were friendly and helpful.

Facilities to be improved as it is looking old. Maintain room appliances, Put in shower curtains or blinds in Room 8. At least wipe off all the sticky resididue on the hairdryer in Room 10.
