Excellent stay, we loved the people and culture of Oaxaca. Our room and hotel was excellent!

Excellent location, clean and comfortable room. The rooftop was a great place to relax and enjoy the view.

The bell and phone for hotel rang throughout the hotel and interrupted our sleep when it occurred. The water dispenser was mostly empty out of our 13 days there, so had to regularly purchase bottled water.

This place is all about the location. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If you want to stay in this area and not hang out in your hotel room and watch TV, this is a great place.

The room was small for the 3 of us. The bathroom was a bit small.

This property is in a great location. There are ample shops and restaurants within a few block radius, and walking to the true center of the city takes only ten minutes. The hotel also had a very cute look on the interior with lots of greenery and an authentic Mexican feel. the beds were decent and the fan/AC worked well.

I arrived to Oaxaca at around 6/7pm due to traffic and flight delays. When I arrived, the front desk door was closed and locked and there was no indication of how to get into the hotel. I knocked on the glass door through the metal gate and luckily a sweet older lady had heard me and opened a door a few feet away from the reception entrance. I had informed the hotel of my late check in time prior to arriving, so it would have been nice to have clearer instructions. they also informed me on my third day that they would prefer cash payment, which I could not do. Again, I just wish I had been told earlier so I could prepare. I paid with my card in the end and ended up getting charged twice because their WiFi signal at the reception desk is not great.

I loved the place, loved the staff and the neighborhood. Highly recommend

Loved the family who owns the place, the neighborhood is lovely, the housekeeping is outstanding. There's a rooftop with an amazing plant collection where you can hang out.

Because the building is organized around a courtyard, the sound bounces. Oaxaca is a loud city to begin with, so please don't expect extra quiet nights.

I dont think the room was worth was they were charging.

the area is very nice and the hotel is clean and has a cool design.

it kind of feels more like a hostal than a hotel. You can here everything going on outside your room both in the street and in the hotel. the bed and “pillows” were super uncomfortable.

Superb

Very helpful and kind staff. English speaking too. Hot shower and very comfy beds. The area is beautiful with loads of street art and graffiti. Far enough from the busy city center, but only 15 min walk.

Can get a bit noisy in the morning, when the staff starts cleaning.

Such a cute and amazing stay!!!

I loved the neighborhood and all of the hotel decorations!! The owners and front desk person were so kind and went out of their way to create an incredible visit. I got a call from them telling me about this awesome festival celebration, señor de tepeaca, and it was one of the highlights of my whole 4 week Mexico trip!!! Highly recommend this place ♥️

Cozy hotel

The staff were very friendly and helped us get around. The room was comfortable, with a fan. The terrace was a great place to unwind.

It was difficult to understand when the reception was actually open - we had difficulty reaching someone at times. The decor in the rooms was a little outdated. There are no eating or drinking facilities.

Wonderful neighborhood of painted buildings and shops. Inside Cazomalli is cheerful and quaint.

Extreme noise level from cafe next door where there is music late into the night. Breakfast needs a protein such as yogurt or hard boiled egg. It is only toast snd fruit.

Beautiful rooftop terrace and property- in a great spot. Our room was huge-2 rooms with 2 beds in each and plenty of floorspace. A family-run establishment-lovingly cared for and very clean

Having only one available key was rough since I was traveling with my younger kids who wanted to stay out much later-so they had to call me at 3am and I had to go downstairs to let them into the hotel, then into the room. The water pressure wasn't fabulous-but it was hot!

Terrace, near great restaurants. Cleanish but kinda poor repair. Wore masks. Pretty decorations.

No one at desk ever. At 9:30 pm, cousin had to wait 1 1/2 hr to be let in. No one opened door, balcone locked. They were searching for new hotel when I got a message from them finally and found someone to let them in. Internet was poor to nonexistent . “Gym facilities “ a joke. We had to prepay their expensive suite as it was last room, but we couldn’t stay in it because it smelled like sewer. so were given a room that cost almost 1/2 price and no refund. Friend came to visit and waited 1 hr to be let in. Breakfast left over toast and fruit. Every day. Rude staff.
