Good enough for the money for 1-2 days

Comfortable , clean tidy .Location was excellent spoilt a little by people moving in flat above

No food ….. location was excellent next to the canal.

Excellent location with co-op/Aldi/Lidl close by. 20 min walk into town. Parking right next to property. Very clean and cleaning materials provided

The only annoying thing we found was the noise from upstairs property. Constantly seemed to be someone walking about noisily even at 4am one morning.

Good location, tidy apartment

Enjoyed staying near the canal and watching the boats go through the locks. Apartment was spacious and car parking was easy.

Room felt quite hot and had to sleep with windows open.

Superb

Perfect base for exploring Inverness and surrounding area. Small apartment but suited us as a couple. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay, very clean also very close to shops for groceries. Well equipped kitchen, decent size shower and wardrobe space. Situated right next to the canal which was great for walks. Chinese takeaway opposite was one if the nicest we'd had and the Jammy Piece cafe around the corner was also lovely. We did enjoy staying and would stay here again for a short break.

Apartment is next to a busy main road, you get used to this. However the upstairs neighbours do not stop! You can hear every move they make, walking/ stomping back and forth constantly! Again you half get used to this though one night they were hammering until well past 10pm! Very annoying especially when the stomping about started once the hammering stopped!!

Neat and clean self contained studio with full kitchen and washing machine.

Nothing really but you do need to have a car to easily access the town centre particularly on dark nights and in the rain

Lovely location and facilities

The canal right next to the property was lovely and it was only a 20 minute walk from the city centre. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were nice and clean, perfect for a short holiday in Inverness!

The upstairs neighbours were very loud from 7:30am until 11:30pm every day constantly thudding around, woke us up every morning including the bank holiday Monday. Such a shame due to the fact every other thing was amazing.

The self check in is awesome, that is why it is hard to rate staff...we never engaged any staff. The moment you walk in you think this is extremely cute and comfortable., it appears to have everything you need. Then....

You hear the stomping upstairs. We arrived at about 2:30 pm. We were tried from driving for 5 hours. From arrival until about 10 pm the stomping back and forth above out heads was non stop. We even asked one another how can someone walk back and forth all day? On day two we left foe several hours to site see, when we returned, the same stomping.. By the third day we were ready to leave by 6am. We would not stay again.

Pleasent visit for a short stay in Inverness

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2022 and overall it was a very pleasant stay. The room was very modern and had everything you needed which included cooking facilities (including utensils) washing machine, microwave, fridge etc. The heating facilities were old but room temperature was perfect. The property was very clean, well maintained and well kept. Very close to local shops and takeaways and around a 20 minute walk from the city centre. There was free parking which was a bonus, however not guaranteed and would imagine would be very full in the summer. The property was right off the main road however traffic didn’t bother us at all as were out most of the day so the property was in an ideal location to base ourselves. Super easy check in and check out process.

Upstairs the neighbours were very noisy walking about, the ceiling was often shaking. This kept us awake at night and woke us up first thing in the morning. The milk pots provided for tea and coffee were 7 months out of date. Due to being on the main road we had to have the blinds closed the majority of the time for privacy which resulted in the room being very dark. We had to do this because of people walking past, unfortunately it wasn’t very private but this didn’t really affect us as we were out most of the day. Curtain netting would of been a good addition. One night we flushed the toilet which resulted in the water tank under the sink to make really loud banging noises for around half an hour but we managed to fix this!! Just small things and an honest reflection on the visit. Would definitely recommend and would return in the future.

Home far from Home.

I stayed in Caledonian Canal for 3 nites. Location is not too bad.... Like OK for me as I luv to walk.. Major city centre is 20 mins walk. Like for everything eatin major or shoppin major. U need to go 20 mins walk pass bridge, u enter city centre. I luv dat walk and used to go by 1 bridge and come by other bridge. I had nvr been to Inverness, but only due dis walk i was able to explore whole city. On the other hand, beautiful canal is at yr doorstep. A big CooP and a big LidL is 100 seconds walk away. A chinese and a very very busy famous breakfast lunch cafe is also on da doorstep. So 5 Stars frm me for location. Frm my wife 3.5 stars as she wanted shoppin areas nearby. Chk in is superfast and well explained on email. Superhost as always available. Privacy 100pc. Some issue as alrdy explained in many reviews. Heavy footsteps on upper floor. May be some1 plays football. But didn't bother much as finishes at nite.. Amanities top class and sufficient. Feels like home stay. Cleanliness 200pc marks. Bed size super comfy. Walks outside apartment beautiful both sides u take left or rite.. Taxi if needed only under 5 pounds for the city if some1 doesnt like walks. Highly Recommended. If need stay again. No issues.

Nothin to dislike. Everything perfectly and logically arranged and maintained. Designed according to 100pc thinkin guests needs. A home far frm home. No idea if u have kids or 3 4 ppl in together. Any arrangements as we were only a couple but cld have our teenager kid along.

Loved what the owners have done with the room . Very modern very clean. Great location. Bed was so comfortable. They have great design/ taste.

lovely weekend in beautiful flat but noisy

beautiful clean flat. loved how close it was to the canal, we enjoyed beautiful walks there. beautifully decorated. very comfortable bed. great value for money.

the bedroom window faces the main road which is very noisy the entire time which kept us both up during the night. the windows are very thin so let the cold air blow in and we could hear passers by speaking through the night (weekend) the neighbours upstairs also never settle!! for 2 days straight - day and night they are walking about constantly which is very loud. unlike a hotel room where you can choose hot air, cold air or none this room was either freezing cold to the point I had about 4 layers on and then it went to the other extreme of boiling hot. maybe needs a more up to date heater.
