I checked in at 1230 am and was checked out by 745 am. Won't stay that again

Technical It had a bed and running water. Office guy was a good guy and the location was ok from the highway. Lights were working. ........

Only I can say was it had a bed but property is dirty. That's counting the room that I had to relocate to. Dirty sheets..no toilet paper in restroom

Only go here if you have too.

There was a giant hole in the wall by the sink. Roaches. Spiders. The bathroom door was broken you couldnt shut it. The tv remote didnt work. Got a new one from the office and that one didnt work either. A couple if noghts ago i stay there in another room and the tv didnt have a power cord. The microwaves power cord was cut. There were needle caps in the bathtub grain. Just disgusting.

We didn’t stay we turned around and left and when requested a refund they denied us.

Horrible property like something off a horror movie

Roaches were everywhere it was filthy and nasty with dried blood on the wall and mold on the ceiling and mildew in that fridge.

Review of the Lonestar Inn

I really enjoy the staff members and especially the housekeepers. They are doing a great job at customer service and at keeping the facility clean. My husband and I have two dogs that are registered and unlike most hotels, they follow the guidelines on registered animals. They get to know their customers that come here alot. It's almost like seeing family again when they notice we are back!

Probably need to spray a few more times for insects. Quite a few extra beetles running around.

Great time. Make us feel like family every time and never have a bad time here!

The staff is freaking awesome here. And if you're a loyal customer they sure remember you and will treat you like family when you walk on the property. The cleaning couple are super awesome. Treat guests with dignity and respect and like I said like family!

They need to spray more in the rooms for roaches and for spiders. Especially the older rooms.

I would never stay there again or recommend this place to even my worst enemy. I feel screwed over.

I was able to get YouTube on the small old crappy tv. Nothing else though. Not one thing.

1. I was eaten alive by bugs and suffered many many bites that blistered and itch. This was from the third room I was offered. 2. The neighbors in the next room had the chair from my room and sat outside our doors smoking pot and cigarettes and talking until late into the nights that I stayed. 3. After half my stay, I asked for the remainder refunded so I could stay somewhere else. I was declined my refund, but offered an upgraded room instead. Once I got moved to that room, it was discovered that the air did not blow cold. I informed the office and was told maintenance would be there to check into it. No one showed up to fix it within the next three hours, and I was told “what I needed to do” to get the air fixed. For the record, the Texas temperature that day was 109 degrees. So I packed up my things and booked a room for the next four nights at LaQuinta, which I should have done in the first place. They should have refunded my remaining two days and just let me go on. Instead, I am out more than $100 from Lone Star. 4. The first room I was offered had no microwave, trash on the floor and the door wouldn’t shut all the way. The second room offered to me had a cockroach in the toilet and pee under the seat. The third room was the best of the three, but it’s the one that yielded me all the big bites and blisters.

Very Upset Customer

I went to Sherman on Sunday for my 25 year old son's viewing and service yesterday which when I booked it I specified that I would be arriving between 9 and 10 a.m. The lady at the front desk said they were booked and it would be after 2 when I could get into a room. I explained to her why I needed it early she said she didn't care so I was forced to get a room at Lone Star Inn paid more money that I do not have since I just paid for my son's burial. I tried to get a refund from you but cannot do it. Therefore I will no longer use Booking.com for anything.

3 Dope needles found hidden around the room

Nothing to like other than it being somewhere to sleep

Room smelled horrible!! After like an hour I looked around the room real good and found 3 USED DRUG NEEDLES!!! Door was like crinkly and seemed like it had been kicked in before and barely shut with massive gaps in it, side rails of bed were completely disgusting full of crumbs and tons of random crap/hair etc. Everywhere around the room against the walls, in the cracks was broken glass, like you couldn't go 1 ft along the baseboard of the wall and not find broken glass. The threshold/door moulding to the bathroom was completely rotted out from the floor like 4 inches of it just big holes on both sides like there had been major water damage. I would have asked for a refund and went somewhere else if I didn't have to wait multiple business days for a refund. People walking all thru the night going door to door inside rooms presumably selling drugs etc.. No roaches and bed had clean sheets, Lifted sheets and scoured and no sign of bed bugs at least. Kept my boots on the entire night did not feel comfortable taking them off. Woke up with a sore throat and coughing up junk maybe mold from the water damage. Wish I could get my money back because I would have rather slept in my car and woulda felt safer.

Staff responsiveness and speed of checking in. The lock box was bad on the initial room and it was freezing cold outside. The staff member was very slow to make and keys and even went to the room to check it himself before getting a new room. A well trained staff member would have know what rooms close by were available and moved quickly to get us into that room rather than make us walk back and forth from the room in the freezing cold and then make us keys and make a snynd remark like would you like the room to be free, but just joking....
