About this apartment rental
We are 5 minutes from the Christmas chalets and Jazz festival, 30 minutes from the ski slopes and Father Christmas' house.
Large private and panoramic terrace overlooking the lake and mountains, equipped for your moments of rest and conviviality, offers sunsets and sunrises with delicate and pleasant colours, quiet and friendly place.
-The accommodation is situated on the first floor (B), entrance from 18h pm onwards, exit before 11ham, you must indicate your arrival and departure time or possible delays to allow an optimal reception.
tax CHF 6 per day paid on arreval.
Parking spaces on reservation for cars CHF 15.- per day, motorbike is included.
-Early check-in: on request, and if possible, from 8h am onwards, you will be charged an extra EUR 100;
-Delayed entry: on request and if it is possible for us, (max 23h) you have an extra euro100.
-Luggage storage: with advance booking, and if it is possible for us, you will have an extra charge of chf 50.
-Payment of tourist tax is required on arrival.
-Small pets are accepted, on request and reservation, free of charge.
On arrival you will see a sign with the words: Holiday home Piccolo San Giorgio, and the logo: St. George with the sword.
Continue for 10 metres and you will arrive at your car park.
-You will have direct contact with a Lebanese or French chef with whom you can arrange for your lunch to be ready and delivered and agree on the cost of the menu (subject to availability of the sceff)Living room:
-Kitchen is accessible and technically functional and fully equipped.
-Showers require curtains to be used.
-Cleaning: -Used bath towels must be left in the laundry basket and bed linen can be left on the beds, (the cleaning fee paid corresponds to the preparation of the accommodation, there is no cleaning during the stay).
-Hot water is self-sufficient, 150 litre water tank, refill time approx. 3 hours.
-Laundry at your disposal for your personal use, of course.
-Everything is ready for your stay:
If you do not wish to use the bath towels and bed linen, it will be appreciated if you indicate this in your booking or store them in the wardrobe.
The stay of guests coming will be favoured if you leave the accommodation in approximately the same condition as when you received it, and appreciated by us.
-We can accommodate a total of 9 persons in one accommodation. For bookings of more than 9 persons, you can book a second accommodation at the same address for a total of 18 persons. -We accept long stays. To be arranged.
150mt from debarcader Clarens. 2km from the motorway, bus 10mt Vevey and 50mt Montreux, 5minutes from the station, you will find photos on the bus timetable site. Every comfort within 10min. walking distance (supermarkets, petrol station, pharmacies, banks, restaurants, cafes, newsagents, boutiques, opticians, beaches, swimming pools, playgrounds, etc.) 5min. from centre of Montreux or Vevey. 30-45min ski areas, mountain lakes.
Nearby: tennis courts, skating and skeyt-boord ramps, riding centres, water-skiing, sailing schools, winter ski slopes, periodic antique markets, periodic folk markets, Nestlé food museum, photography museum, many museums within 15min, 1h. Panoramic boat mooring with restaurant on board with reservation. Etc, etc.
You will have ski areas, mountain lakes with nature trails for marches and mountain runs or cultural tourism, you will find photos of some of these places within easy reach. Tourist information will be available in the accommodation.

Municipal swimming pool la maladaire, 200m away, indoor and outdoor: also accessible 2 lakeside beaches, free 200m away in the direction of Montreux or 200m away in the direction of Vevey.

Perfect place to stay with a family or two at a fair price. If you want a romantic place, it’s not the right fit, but the location is amazing, it sleeps a ton of people, has an amazing balcony and a fun funky vibe. I’d absolutely seat there again.

A short walk to the lakefront where there is swimming. We also walked to dinner at a nice restaurant recommended by Paola, and we walked to get groceries. There is a nice patio and we were able to eat outside . Paola was very friendly at helpful, and she met us for our 10pm arrival.

We were really not happy with this stay
Check in provided no house number so finding the location was difficult. When we did arrive, we were met a very musty, acidic smell. Our only thought was it was to kill the bugs- as a very large number of ants appeared as the stay progressed. We had no food in the apartment. The ants were everywhere. The place felt old and not clean. We would not recommend this listing.

Un très bon séjour
Nous étions 8 amis à avoir loué pour des retrouvailles et le séjour s'est très bien passé. Une vue très sympa sur le lac, des lits confortables et une terrasse très agréable pour se retrouver.
Notre hôte nous a également bien accueilli avec des petits conseils sur les endroits à visiter du coin et elle a été disponible et compréhensive.

Ausgezeichnete Lage, super Aussicht, jedoch nicht so sauber
Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut und zentral gelegen. Es dauert nur 10 Minuten mit dem Bus bis man im Zentrum von Montreux ist, was sehr ideal ist. Ebenfalls ist die Bushaltestelle nur 10m entfernt.
Der Balkon, mit schönem Ausblick auf den Genfersee, der Ess- und Wohnbereich sind gemütlich.
Doch leider waren die Möbel alt und manchmal nicht mehr so stabil (z.B. Küchenschränke, Loch im Wohnzimmerstuhl). Auch die Sauberkeit hätte besser sein können, denn die Kleiderschränke und der Boden waren nicht sehr sauber. Auch in den Badezimmern mangelte es etwas an Sauberkeit. Trotzdem haben wir den Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung genossen!!

Gute Lage
Die Lage ist perfekt, Bus vor dem Haus, wunderschönes Seebad in Gehdistanz, schade, dass die Liegenschaft aussen eher ungepflegt ist, im Innern etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Schöne Aussicht und Terrasse, im Innern wenig Scharm
Wohnung selber für das Alter in einem guten Zustand. Bäder waren sauber.
Toll ist die Aussicht auf der grossen Terrasse.
Leider sind die meisten Möbel innen und aussen in weniger gutem Zustand. Die Küche inkl dem Inhalt muss stark überholt werden (siehe teils Fotos Inserat).
Das Haus befindet sich zwischen Montreux und Vevey. Beide Bahnhöfe sind in ca 10min mit dem Bus gut erreichbar.

Property is located next to a bus stop which made traveling around town convenient. The place appears old fashioned however it met our needs.

Great location!
Clean and comfortable location. We had 5 in our group, so it fit perfectly. I would only recommend a little update to the table on the patio, which had a leg or 2 so loose, it threatened to collapse. We didn't dare dine on it. And the wall mounted AC unit's appeared to be missing the remotes required to run them. It was just warm enough to want them but it cooled just enough in the evening to be able to sleep without them. The view from the terrace to Lake Geneva was pretty! Thank you!
