The house, officially registered under FMB Reg 19-1316, is located at the northern end of the Island, just a leisurely 3-5 minute stroll to Public Beach Access No. 27 at the end of Mango street, providing easy access to the white-sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico. Its lush landscaping and a fully equipped beach cottage comfortably blend modern living with tropical leisure, making this house a perfect place for relaxation and enjoyment.
As you pull in the driveway, the inviting tropical atmosphere and well-maintained property signal the start of your vacation. The garage is stocked with amenities such as beach chairs, bikes, a wagon cart and a collection of children's toys. Of course you can park your cars there. If you brought your own kayak or jet skis, you can stow away there too.
Upon ascending the stairs and entering the house, you’ll be immediately struck by the open-concept living area. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the essentials for preparing delicious meals. Through the living room sliding door, the front porch is a perfect outdoor spot for your morning coffee, stargazing at night, busking in the Florida sunshine or simply unwinding while overlooking the mangrove cross street. Moving down the hallway, you will find the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, two guest bedrooms, a bathroom and a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. The first guest room has a queen-size bed, while the second is equipped with a twin-over-full bunk beds plus a trundle, allowing the house to comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. The full bathroom in the hallway features a tub/shower combination. The lanai is a true oasis. Two of the three bedrooms provide access to the back lanai, where you can read a book, catch up on work or simply watch the kids play.
After a day spent at the beach, rinse the sand off in an outdoor shower, unwind in your private pool, and enjoy your meal prepared from the Weber grill or the kitchen. Every nook and cranny of this property, both inside and outside, is at your disposal, allowing you to create joyous and unforgettable vacation.
For due diligence, we are letting you know that the island was impacted by Hurricane Ian in the September of 2022, although things are cleaned up and rebuilding, but still visibly damaged now. Fortunately, my house is fine and operating normally, and fully ready for hosting you, and the beach remains as wonderful as ever. Many restaurants have also reopened their doors.

We stayed for a belated Mother's Day weekend which I do every year with my SIL and her sisters The house was perfect for the 5 of us. Very clean and well stocked. The pool was great. The only thing missing was a small frig by the pool and a bathroom by the pool. It was sad to see all the destruction still from hurricane Ian. There were a lot of nice restaurants to eat at; along with food trucks everywhere. I would stay her again.

Lulu The owner was extremely friendly and helpful - the property was as described / very comfortable / has all facilities & pool and great for the beach only 5mins walk and Times Square area in Fort Myers Beach. All the family enjoyed staying here and we would certainly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in FMB - would return in a heartbeat once we have saved enough to all go back.

This place is away from the hustle and bustle, yet a quick ride to all activities around the island. The beach area was beautiful and wagon, and chairs were nice to have! The pool was great for our grandson who was 2 as there was a ledge for him to safely get in and out, yet a deep end too! All and all a wonderful place! Would recommend and rent again.

We have been staying at Fort Myers Beach for the past 5 years except right after the hurricane. We were so happy to find this place to be able to get back even though the island is not all put back together. It is our home away from home. The house is in a great location to the beach and Times Square. Even though things are still being rebuilt, there are several eating places you can enjoy and gift shops open. The beach is in great shape and you can enjoy the heated pool at the house. LuLu was great to work with and very quick to respond if we needed anything. We enjoyed our visit!!

The property manager was VERY responsive and responded within minutes to any of the questions that we had. The pool was very well kept and perfectly heated. It was a very comfortable location. The only minor issue was that one of the beds needs some TLC as it squeaked with every movement. Beach towels need an upgrade as most of them were bath towel size. Overall, it was a comfortable location and we had a great stay.

We stayed Thanksgiving week and had a wonderful time. The home is well equipped, and the outdoor areas—including the pool—are fantastic. The hurricane’s damage to the area is obvious, but the resilience and innovation from residents impressed us. Grocery stores, food trucks, and many restaurants are open now. Highly recommended!

We spent a week here this summer and it was a great experience. The kids loved the pool. We loved the sunsets! The area is still rebuilding but many things are open! We had a great dinner at Dixie Fish Company one night. We drove over to Siesta Key one day. It was a great, relaxing trip!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend La Casa on Mango! Everything was very well maintained and clean. We loved hanging out in the the pool! The property is very close to the beach and several restaurants are within walking distance. It is a very convenient location. The property manager was absolutely amazing and responded to us immediately. We would absolutely book here again!!

We had a great week! Pool and beach were amazing! Our kids and golden had a blast in the pool and on the beach! The property managers/owners were on the ball and responded to all our questions and needs immediately. The town however is rough….few restaurants and no grocery on the island. But things are moving quickly and if you are like my family and prefer to prepare meals ahead you will love your stay. In addition Naples, which is not far, had tons of restaurants to visit. This is a beautiful area that needs our support to come back! I highly recommend renting this property!

We were looking for a place to stay within walking distance of the beach. La Casa on Mango was a great choice. While Hurricane Ian left a terrible scar on the Fort Myers Beach area, La Casa on Mango is in perfect working order. There is destruction all around and it’s tough to see, but if you’re looking for a place that’s close to the beach (5 minute walk) this is your spot. The beach has been completely cleaned up and it was a beautiful place to spend our afternoons. Food options are very limited in the area as it is still recovering. We found a few food trucks, but best bet would be to bring your own food.

The house itself is in a quiet area of several houses that were not hit very badly by Hurricane Ian and the owner obviously made all necessary repairs quickly. Lulu was wonderful to work with, and had described the house and the local situation accurately. She quickly responded to our only problem (the kitchen light had burnt out - she had an electrician in the next morning next morning to replace it).
Regarding Fort Myers Beach: yes it was and remains heavily damaged, there is no hiding that! But on the other hand, we felt safe, the traffic was much better than when we visited last year, and we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful beach which was minus the normal huge crowds. We learned a great deal from the locals who were always willing to openly discuss their stories of the storm and the ongoing recovery. Their strong love of the island and their resilience left a lasting impression on us. Restaurants are starting to reopen (had an excellent lunch at Snug Harbor right under the bridge) and the Key West Express is running - we went down to Key West and back in one day - quite an experience! On another dayt, we booked the SWF Party Pontoon for a three hour tour of the inland waterway and had three dolphins literally playing games around the boat for 10 minutes at one point! We bought fresh fruit from "Bruiser", a nice freindly man who had a stand right on the corner when you enter our street. One complaint we had heard was flat tires. We drove every day, as well as biked every day and hit nearly every street on the north half of the island - we had no flat tires and felt the streets are no longer a problem. The weather was wonderful with only one windy and cloudy day out of 19 days - temperatures from 70 to 77 degrees, The pool made a nice way to relax whenever we felt like it. I felt that having a covered garage was a plus too! All in all, a great escape from Canada in the winter!
We can honestly say that our experience at La Casa On Mango was quite memorable because of the good experience we enjoyed at the house itself. It was made even more so because what we learned of the life, special times, and indomitable spirit of the locals who love this island. .

My husband and I loved the house. The location was perfect for a quick walk to the beach. The walk to Time Square area was about 10 minutes. Mango Street was a very quiet neighborhood during the 10 days we stayed. The pool area was an added plus to the property. Amenities were great, in the garage was everything you needed for a day at the beach. Even beach towels were provided. The only negative I could say is we sometimes had issues with the keyless lock on the front door. We were happy to be able to have the keys available if we needed. Even though we did not meet the property owners in person, they were quick to respond to all of our question. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this charming beach abode. The saltwater pool is great, the beautifully furnished house is perfectly located close to the white sanded beach, and the hostess is pleasant and responsive. We had such a great time and can't wait to book a return visit.

Our Mango Street property was beyond our expectations! Location was perfect for beach access along with the provided beach accessories to enjoy a wonderful week at the beach. The house was very clean and lived up to the overview on the website. We enjoyed the pool to cool down on a daily basis and had a beautiful screened in porch to enjoy eating and sitting with family. LuLu was very receptive to our needs and responded immediately to any questions we had along the way. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!

It served its purpose for us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but preparing meals and eating in as a family of 6 was a challenge. Unfortunately, the kitchen was not well stocked with pots pans and glassware and it was a bit of a tight space. Some glasses were cracked including the coffee pot. The toaster was not working properly either.
We were happy that the pool was heated because it is always shaded. The bikes were great to have and there were enough for all of us. The beach was great and everything was within walking or biking distance. Thank you so much for having us!

Enjoyed our stay
We are a retired couple who spent a month at this property. It is a just short walk to town and the beach yet it is far enough from the main road and commercial district to allow for quiet evenings. Everything was clean and in good working order. The home was comfortable.
Lulu is an excellent host and property manager. She shows pride in her property and cares about her guests. On the few occasions when we reached out for help or guidance she responded quickly and always in a helpful way.
We would recommend this property to anyone who plans to spend leisure time in Fort Meyers Beach.

Absolute Perfection!
We vacation in the area every year for Christmas since I’m originally from Ft. Myers. This trip was by far my favorite! Staying right on Ft. Myers beach in this lovely home with a fabulous pool was a dream! It’s rare to find a home that is this comfortable and clean, but also so well furnished with all the necessities. Having the extra blankets, towels, and pillows was incredible, thank you so much! The fact that the pool was a salt system at the perfect temperature, that the a/c worked fabulous, and the landscaping was gorgeous was over and above all other rentals in the area! I couldn’t have chosen a better location if I tried! The Lee Tran runs right along the main drag. Heavenly Biscuit was just down the street, and the beach was only a very short walk away.. we strolled to get coffee, biscuits, and walk on the beach every morning!! There were so many fun things for my kids to do since bikes and beach chairs and the wagon were provided for their use!! Thank you is an understatement for making our stay so wonderful!! Overall a good place to vacation
Shower stall track could use a good cleaning. We had to put out two extra trash cans from prior guest. No extra trash bags. Ran out of hand soap in one bathroom. These things are very minor. The proximity to the beach and restaurants is great. Also, owner should mention must be able to climb steps.

Short walk to the beach, short walk to restaurants ( Liki Tiki - Daniel D plays music there a few nights a week and he was really good and food was great too) Honestly couldn’t think of a better location for a vacation spot, we absolutely loved it and if we come back to Fort Myers this is where we will stay.

Great house
We stayed for a week. 3 adults and a teenager. This house was just the right size for us. Communication with the owner was great. Short walk to the beach and a great little breakfast place. It is an easy bike ride to Times Square. We had a really great week and hope to return next year.
