Good

Simple and convenient place to stay the night before our early morning ferry.

Curtains did not block out the light and there was a street light outside our window so didn't get completely dark overnight.

Mattress was so bad One side of it was going down all the time , I had an awful night

Close to the beach

Dirty, dusty, tv remote not working properly, specific smell of food , no sugar, mattress was terrible, I couldn’t sleep all night

Ripped off - pay up front and they refuse you access without further fees - Avoid at all costs

NA - despite having paid up front - staff refused me access to a room without a further fee.

Was told that I wasnt able to use the car park and would have to park on the main road. Staff didnt allow me to check in until i moved my car out of the car park and then insist i pay a fee "in case i have a party and wreck the room" as a pensioner travelling through I somehow think this is inappropriate. In the end staff refused me access to the room and i was forced to stay elsewhere at short notice - i had paid full fee in advance and received nothing for it.

comfortable, no frills stay

great location and friendly staff

noise- the people opposite were opening and closing the door all night long and the wind caused a loud banging constantly because it was blowing something around outside- possibly the metal shed?

Easy access, Comfortable bed, En-Suite was small but easily usable.

slightly grubby wear and tear but not bad. Walls are thin so loud in the day but didn’t hear anything late at night.

Friendliness of people, also parking spaces on front

Availability of hot drinks. whilst there was tea coffee and milk available. There was no spoons and the sugar would be better in individual sachets.

Pleasant

the location is brilliant. Common areas are clean and tea/coffee are offered all the time. Management really friendly.

bathrooms were not really working. No light, one sink without water, the other one running all the time. Only contact option when nobody is around is a phonenumber, but since we are not from the UK, we’d be charged a lot to make a call.

Friendly receptionist, clean room, toilet and shower close by

Expected a single bed but got a bunk. Very uncomfortable mattress, absolutely no frills. Television tiny. No parking outside and struggled to find a space in adjoining streets.

Terrible

Nothing, we left after 10 minutes and stayed at the premier Inn by the pier.

I'm disabled and couldn't drive my scooter over the 4 inch lip through the fire escape at the side of the building. Once my wife helped me lift it over this and we gained access to the room we both just looked at it and started googling somewhere else to stay...

Clean, fresh room and toilets. Great staff and kitchen area. Very understanding of our late arrival and we're accommodating in last minute changes.

Very thin walls, we struggled to sleep with crying children, people moving around and generally people being loud.

A one night stay over was great but wouldn’t want to stay any longer

The room was clean The bed was comfy Plenty of facilities within the hotel, kitchen and drinks available

Room was too small To close to the room next door to the point we could here them talking on their phone Parking was very small Would of been nice to have sitting outside in the yard instead of sitting on the entrance steps

Budget stay with comfort, don't expect too much.

The room was not the cleanest but was very comfortable and spacious. The location was great and it was good value for money. The facilities were not the greatest as the website mentioned that the room came with toiletries and we didn't carry them, but we weren't given any. Great for a quick/budget stay and for couples.
