Welcome to Villa Violeta, a beautiful, refurbished beach house with pool, just steps from Isla Verde Beach, selected by USA Today in 2016 as one of the best Urban beaches in the world.

We were very happy with our stay here. Reuben made us quite comfortable and provided plenty of information regarding the island when we were checking in. The property is beautiful and close to the airport so it made our travel plans much easier.
We would definitely recommend this property to large families or groups of friends, it was worth it!

We had a group of 8 that came to town to celebrate our 40th birthdays. The house itself was great for our group, we had a lot of space and the bathroom and bedroom ratios were good for us. We loved the pool, and proximity to the beach. Getting to and from old San Juan and other parts of town was an easy and affordable Uber ride away.
The biggest issue we had was being given only one key, with a second key being provided upon request. For a group of 8, it was a little challenging to always coordinate keys while we were out and about. We would recommend putting in a garage door opener with a keypad, or putting a keypad/lockbox somewhere external if more keys can’t be passed out.

We visited for a week for a family wedding. The property accommodated a large group - all adults. Great property and location overall. Only negative - the AC compressors of the hotel property across the street are noisy 24/7 and a bit unsightly.

Easy access to the beach and good restaurants

My family and I recently stayed at this property, and overall, we had a wonderful experience. The separate house at the back, featuring two bedrooms with ensuites, was perfect for added privacy. The main house had spacious rooms with plenty of space for everyone to relax.
The pool, though small, was a cool and refreshing retreat from the hot weather. We appreciated having a garage for our rental car, although in hindsight, Uber would have worked just as well and might have been more cost-effective.
Each bathroom in the house had its own unique quirks. One shower swapped the hot and cold settings, another bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed, and one was notably small. Despite these minor issues, all the bathrooms were functional.
The air conditioners in each room were fantastic, keeping the house cool and comfortable. The property manager was quick to respond, flexible with check-in, and very helpful.
If I had to suggest improvements, it would be to add oven-safe dishes and Tupperware for storing fresh fruit. Additionally, a few cabinet doors throughout the home had broken hinges and the ovens bake function didn't work (but convection did).
Despite these minor inconveniences, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The positives far outweighed the negatives, and we felt very much at home during our stay.

This was an excellent place for a family vacation. We were all together yet everyone had their own space. As stated in previous reviews, the pool looks small but was perfect for our family of 10 and the beach was a short walk away.
The kitchen was pretty well equipped however it could have had a couple large serving bowls.
The manager was very responsive to any requests.

Villa Violeta was the perfect house for 8 women to celebrate turning 40 together! Great walking distance to the beach. They had enough chairs to accommodate us all. Ruben was very responsive too.
The water temperature and pressure would have been the only improvement needed. However, we knew that going in from other reviews and being on an island.

Came to San Juan with 3 other couples for my 60th birthday celebration. Property is located next to Ritz-Carlton. Ritz currently closed for renovation. Short 1 block walk to a beautiful beach. Host provides beach chairs and a cooler. Property was nice. Did have struggles with hot water. Several restaurants nearby. I would return to this property. Highly recommended getting a private chef for a few meals.

On a family trip with adults and children and the house fit us of all comfortably. We didn’t feel like we were in each others way. Its proximity to the beach and restaurants makes this an ideal location. The thoughtful and personal touches like welcome kit, beach chairs and umbrella for their guest shows the owner cares about your stay. The communication from Jose and the property manager Ruben made the stay even more comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when we head back to San Juan!

Pretty nice place. No control of air temp (it was hot) lots of wear and tear, stained furniture. TV was big and pool was great (slippery sidewalk when wet)

Villa Violeta was the perfect accommodation for our family. The kitchen and living room were spacious, there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and the pool was terrific for the kids. The location is also excellent - right down the street from the beach, grocery store less than five minutes away, plus easy access to Old San Juan and El Yunque Rainforest.

This was an amazing place to stay! My family of 9 stayed for a week and had a great time. So close to the beach, great pool to relax and read in, and amazing bedding! Communication was quick and so helpful. I would absolutely stay here again!

It was beautiful location and home.. the pool was a little smaller then we thought but it turned out to be perfect for the little kids…. Perfect location at the beach and house accommodations were incredible the living and the kitchen were perfect for gathering.. uber drivers were everywhere to go to places… Would definitely recommend 10/10

We stayed here while on vacation for a wedding with 6 couples. The house is wonderful and spacious for all hanging out while feeling like everyone had their own space and privacy. 2 min walk to the beach and 5-10 min walk to the grocery store, restaurants, shops. Reuben was a wonderful host and came to fix any problem (help with grill, more towels) we had promptly. Would recommend to others and we would stay there again if we have a chance to visit PR again.

it is a lovely property but. the water pressure could be improved and shower taps in both casita rooms need some attention. Very difficult to find and control hot water and not easy to turn water off. Taps keep spinning in circles.

We were a family of 12 and had a great time. Communication from the minute we reserved until arrival was on point. Check out was easy and again, communication was good. The house had everything we needed and was in a magnificent location. Hoping to book this same house again in the future.

Booking experience and communications with owner and manager exceeded expectations.
Walked into a sparkling clean house with white linens and White towels in perfect condition. Plenty of pretty beach towels for all. Conveniently located steps from Best beach in San Juan.
The pool was at the right temperature, always tempting. The family/living area is very cozy with a giant TV. Internet worked very well.
The beds were extremely comfortable. We all commented about the good mattresses and ample closets with hangers.
We were 9 enjoying our time together but with plenty of personal space to retreat to your room, the outdoor patio, or the pool area to recharge—ample space for two cars in the garage.
We will book this property again.

Family vacation in Puerto Rico
The overall property was great. However I was disappointed that there was not a working dishwasher for 11 people. Also the kitchen sink and several bathrooms did not have hot water for showers. Having a 2 car garage for parking was a huge bonus!

Had a wonderful Vacation
The property was beautiful, we had a issue with the refrigerator but it was replaced, once they knew they couldn’t fix it. Puerto Rico was beautiful and Rico SUNTOURS was marvelous. Hope to rent the house sometime in the years to come.

My family utilized the entire property, yet I stayed in the Casita. The cleanliness of the property was not as desired. The baseboards appeared to not have been cleaned for quite awhile. There was major water damage in the Casita resulting in severe damage to walls in bedroom and bathroom, with black mold noted as well. The property looks great on the surface, but once you are there living, the lack of maintenance and upkeep shows. The location is awesome though, allowing access to the beach, restaurants and food shopping. All concerns and recommendations were brought to the manager's attention and I'm hoping that these issues will be addressed to ensure a safe environment for future guests. I've kept photos of the discrepancies, but no option to post on this site.

Our family had a great week in Puerto Rico starting with the Villa Violeta house. Everything was very nice and accommodations were perfect for our 8 adults. Ruben was great to work with and very responsive. The power outages in the area were occurring when we were there but he made sure that the generator kept us in power. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach and then the nice pool to relax in after a day out. Would definitely use this property if I visited the island again.

The house is everything the pictures described, Myself and my friends enjoyed the pool we were in it everyday morning and night @ night the water was heated, we had a beautiful dinner using the outside grill, the kitchen is well organized some things we did need to buy but other than that everything was perfect for us we can't complain, if I should come back I will definitely stay here again!!!!

We loved going on an excursion during the day and coming home to relax in the pool before hitting San Juan for dinner and drinks. We even hired a private chef one night that worked out so well given the amount of space the house allows. Cannot wait to come back in the future.

The house is great. We were able to barbecue and hang out by the pool one of the days. There’s a great restaurant in karaoke bar around the corner (total plus). And about a one minute walk to the beach.

The house is 5 minutes from the airport nestled between 2 other homes and across from a hotel, only 2 blocks from the beach with plenty of beach chairs for our group of 8 where we took surfing lessons!
The property is nicely decorated, lots of sun light, a/c works great, beds are comfy, great closet space. There are several electrical issues, some plumbing problems, the roof leaked in spots when it rained and the top oven and dishwasher were broken. The pool is not heated but we enjoyed it. The owner gave us suggestions for a chef which was wonderful. I agree with other reviews that the kitchen needs some items like measuring cups & teapot, more cups and glasses. There is a 24/7 grocery store that sells alcohol and the El San Juan Hotel/ Casino within
a 2 minute drive. We felt very safe, you need to wear your mask and show proof of vaccination most places. A good time was had by all.
