Enjoyed the peaceful environment so much. People are friendly and nice.

Very good location and peaceful environment. The receptionist, Mrs Shruti was very sincere to her work. All the other stuff were also dedicated to their work.

The bed sheets should be cleaned regularly, After a person checked out, they use the same bed sheet for the next person.

Rohit is a great manager, friendly atmosphere, easily accessible location

The rooftop is a great place to hang out, party or work out (there are dumbbells and pullup bar). First floor common area is suitable for working, with a nice balcony to hang out. Kitchen is well equipped. Location is easily accessible, some 10 minutes walk from Hauz Khas metro station. The market is just around the corner with various food stalls (I ate there paneer thali, chicken biryani, dal paratha, pani puri, juices and chai, just to give an idea). Liquor store is also right next to the market. And a big shoutout to the manager Rohit, his flexibility and friendliness helped me feel at home and among friends, he spent time with us at the rooftop almost every night that I stayed there.

Good location in south Delhi

The staff were nice and helpful. The rooftop is very nice.

The bathroom wasn't always clean, the staff were loud at night and early in the morning they would come in the room and turn on the lights, in January it was really really cold inside.

It's really what you call value for money.

It does not feel crowded even sharing the room amongst 8 people, well maintained rooms and clean bathrooms, overall value for money.

It's just that a/c in rooms wasn't as effective as you'd want it to be.

Nightmare! I booked one bunk bed in female dormitory room. When I arrived, they said there is no female dormitory room and gave me one bed in mixed room. And they said there are other two girls in the mixed dormitory room. In fact , the other seven person in the room were all men. I felt unsafe.

AC doesn't work, toilets are filthy, staff is regularly accused of stealing stuff. You can find better options for the same price. 2 thumbs down!!!

Very good place to stay in Delhi

I have stayed in this place for multiple times, I must say it's a very nice place, safe and sound neighborhood, and the staffs are amazing, specially Mr. Rohit is a kind and helpful gentleman! Keep up the good spirit guys, I would definitely visit again!

Had a great stay here. It's cheap, clean and and close to the metro station. As soon as I got here I made some new friends and we went out for party. I only stayed for one night but it was an unforgettable one I will definitely come back again here :)

This amazing place offers you enjoyable experience in the populous Delhi city. The property also offers clean and cozy AC rooms with private washrooms and all essentials facilities. I had just arrived in India and they helped me with the sim card , i stayed only for 1 night , but noticed the staff cleaning the room and bathroom. A very good prsnl light and power plug on the bed

Friendly and awesome staff!!

Staff here were super awesome! They sent a ton of helpful info to get there from the airport and they also shared their dinner with me when I arrived close to midnight because everything nearby was closed. Very warm and welcoming! They can also help you get a SIM and the hostel offers a laid back city tour which I'd recommend

Pretty basic facilities which wasn't a problem for me but if you want luxury this might not be the right fit for you

I was so lucky to find Desire Hostel! It was the first place I went in India and as a solo female traveller, Sunny & Aniket (both work at the hostel) made me feel so welcome and safe. I can't recommend this place more highly for backpackers and travelers. So accommodating, friendly and patient. Thank you so much for such a wonderful introduction to India!
