Situated directly on this scenic, fish-stocked lake, the home has double, stacked porches in front and an expansive back porch, where you can enjoy an outdoor dining table and swing. MAIN LIVING SPACE: On the first level, gathering spaces include the kitchen and dining room and a spacious family room. The kitchen features granite countertops and stainless appliances, and it overlooks a large dining table where everyone gathers for meals or visits while the family cook preps meals. The comfortable family room offers multiple couches, including a spacious sectional, and a comfy chair, along with a flat-screen TV.
SLEEPING QUARTERS: On the first floor, a comfortable bedroom offers a king-size bed and a full bathroom with a tiled shower. The second floor houses the three additional bedrooms. A queen guest room shares a bathroom with the bunk room, which can accommodate up to four with a twin over twin bunk bed. Kids will love having their own space! And mom and dad will rest well in the cozy, king-size bed in the primary suite. The primary bath offers a large, soaking tub and a walk-in shower, while a private balcony offers wicker seating in a breezy outdoor space. Shore Magic is a non-pet friendly property, and there are no exceptions. If a pet is seen entering Shore Magic the homeowner and/or Cinnamon Shore Vacation Rentals has the right to immediately evict the renter with no refunds, regardless of time of day or night.
There will be an automatic non-refundable penalty fee of $1000 added to the reservation if a pet is seen entering the property. If the pet does not leave the property immediately, at the date of the violation, there will be an additional $300 daily charge applied to the renter until eviction. It is up to the contract signee to disperse the pet policy to all persons staying in the home. If a renter's "guests" violate this policy it is assumed they are aware of the policy and the fee will be assessed. The Renter may also be liable for any additional charges related to cleaning fees and/or damage in the home.

Shore Magic was a great location. It was wonderful to wake up and look over Lake Colby. The bedroom layout worked great for our multi-gen family. We have stayed at many CS units. This one does need some updating and paint. It is a bit worn compared to other units. But otherwise everything was great!

Overall, a B! Sleeping: one King bed (comfy) but the rest of the beds are small. Bunk beds are short (fit young or middle school kids, but not teens) and the two other beds are only Full size (as opposed to Queen) so they don’t comfortably fit a married couple. Coffee making options - A+. Staff is helpful! Still too much construction debris around the house/yard. Found nails, screws, metal chards in the yard even though no ongoing construction on either side of the house. Staff seemed unfazed when I brought this to their attention - as if the construction debris is everywhere. Neighborhood needs a year or two to finish construction. Dylan Restaurant is great - staff is great!

We had a good time but the house had a few issues. Overall, the house had enough space for 7 people but the downstairs room and the upstairs queen bedroom had poor air circulation compared to the rest of the home (complaints of the rooms being too hot). We also noticed major mold issues in the vents on both floors and requested maintenance to check on it as we had members in our group with health concerns (maintenance came and removed it during our stay). Generally wear and tear were noticeable all around the home (floors were dirty etc). However, being by the lake was neat and the proximity to the lawn was nice.

Great location on a quiet street. We loved the community. The house is well stocked but had one MAJOR safety issue. The doors on the house were so worn that almost NONE of them would catch when you shut the door. This means that everytime you opened a door you had to lock the deadbolt. There is a lake steps away from the back door. I brought doorknob covers to keep my toddler from opening the door but all you had to do was push it open. Locking the deadbolt continually was a huge inconvenience. Maintenance tried for an hour to repair the door, but it is beyond repair. It needs replacing. I would not rent this unit if you have small children.

We rented this home for a family get together and the layout and location were perfect. We did have a couple of maintenance issues with smoke alarm batteries and then gfci plug issue. Both were taken care of quickly. Our family loved being about to walk or take the golf cart to any amenity.Love cinnamon shores and this home was very nice.

The thing that I loved most about Shore Magic at Cinnamon Shore was the profound quiet when outside on the premises. Hearing no traffic noise was as wonderful as all the amenities provided by the property and as having the beach just a short walk or golf cart ride away.

I would like to note - the door lock on the rear door should be replaced. We didn't really lock the door the entire time we were there because of the difficulty of getting the key in and out. It kept jamming up, also the door was dirty. We also get that we're in Texas, so I expect some bugs, but we had at least 6 roaches in the house we took care of. Small minor stuff, but wanted to let you know.
It didn't stop us from having a fantastic time, great place and would definitely do it again.

This is a nice house in a good location. We really enjoyed all the decks, and it's a particularly nice view over the pond in the back. The house could use some TLC. Some of the cabinet lamination is peeling in the kitchen. Blinds are mossing in the bunk room. The bunk room really needs a ceiling fan to promote air circulation, which was nice in the other bedrooms. Two of the ceiling fans have broken chains that don't allow you to adjust the speed. We didnt alert maintenance of most of these issues given the COVID threat, but it would go a long way to do a little updating and maintenance. It was still a lovely trip and we enjoyed our time.

Fabulous house for a large family vacation. My parents stayed in the first floor brother and sister-in-law in upstairs master, daughters in the upstairs bunk room with trundle, my husband and I in the upstairs queen room and nephews on the pull out downstairs sofa. We spent our days enjoying the Cinnamon Shores pools, our preset up chairs and umbrellas on the beach, great meals on property at Lisabella's, Dylan's Pizzeria, and C Bar at the pool, and our Top Deck Golf cart rented on property. Mostly we just enjoyed our family time together at the Love Shack cooking and hanging out. Definitely will be back!

Setting up our stay was easy - the website was informative & user-friendly, and the description and photos of the home were helpful & accurate. I wish the description explicitly said that the home had a traditional coffee maker, small Keurig, & outdoor gas grill, & that it was indeed pet-friendly. But when I called the office & used the online chat, staff was happy to help answer those questions & more. I also appreciated the detailed info about check-in, rental agreement, & guidelines for our stay & checkout process by email in advance. Check-in was quick & easy, & we found the home to be in very good condition with the exception of sand on floors & beds, dust-bunnies under furniture, & a couple of stains on couches & bedding. Blinds were missing on one of the doors in the bunk room, but when I called to report that, staff offered a quick resolution. The home has a great layout & the good-sized rooms, tall ceilings, large windows & 3 balconies give it a roomy feel. We particularly loved the beautiful view of Lake Colby from the back porch & back upstairs bedroom. Couches & beds were comfy & the home was stocked with plenty of linens, kitchenware, & cleaning supplies for our 4-night stay. The clothes washer was extremely loud. And the single-cup Keurig gave us problems every single morning - it should be replaced. I really enjoyed the live music just outside of Lisabella's restaurant, & dinner at C Bar Cafe & lounging at Kiera's pool was picture-perfect! Make sure to call in advance about restaurant/cafe hours - they were only open on Sat/Sun during our stay (which was before the busy summer season). I was very disappointed to not receive return calls that were promised after our inquiries about scheduled activities & checkout arrangements, so that put a damper on the end of our stay & revealed opportunity for improvement in customer service. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return & recommend Cinnamon Shores and The Love Shack!

Great home with all the necessities for our vacation with grandparents and our toddlers. About a 10 minute drive to town for any groceries or meals and very nice pools at Cinnamon shore! Wish the beach was closer (easier to lug our stuff instead of having to drive 2 minutes to boardwalk)and the mosquitoes were gone, otherwise had a good time. Golf carts were pricey to rent, but had lots of fun.

The love shack was comfortable for all of us. However, the wear and tear is clear. Upon arrival, all three of the exterior door knobs were very loose. We called to report it within the first hour of our stay and were assured someone would come and fix the issue within 24 hrs along with checking out one of the bedroom ceiling fans that wasn’t working. No one showed up so I called two more times and emailed over the next day. We were only there for four nights. Again, no one came. After two days one of the people staying with us borrowed a screwdriver from a construction crew and fixed the doors herself. For how much you’re paying you should get much better service than this and shouldn’t have to deal with basic things like broken ceiling fans. Also, the rental was clean but not spotless as one might expect for the exorbitant cleaning fee required of renters. Overall, the property was comfortable with a nice lake view but was a little worn out.

Disappointing- we have been coming to CS for 6 years! They have gotten too big to provide the costumer service they use to. The house is cheaply finished and only 2 TVs in whole house. There are spiders and roaches in house. Grill is awful!! And the house is hot!!
