About this apartment rental

This is the apartment you will be staying in. Its a privately owned with its own internet, netflix and has been recently renovated and painted. Its not part of the DRIFT Resort rental apartments. It's of a significanty higher standard !

Our apartment is located on the corner of Williams Esplanade (which runs along the beachfront) and Veivers Road. Perfectly situated on the palm tree lined beachfront of stunning Palm Cove which is located just 20 minutes north of the Cairns International Airport.
This top floor apartment is specifically sort after by couples and young families - sleeping up to 4 people. The apartment is on 4th floor with the private courtyard surrounded by tropical gardens and melaleuca trees which leads onto the wood decked huge salt water swimming pool (of course protected by a security fence for the kids).
The apartment is called a 2 bedroom compact and comes fully furnished with a luxurious master bedroom is connected to the bathroom.
The kitchen is sleek and highly functional with lots of storage, and includes an integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hotplates and convection microwave oven.
There is a dedicated laundry space which accommodates the built in washing machine and dryer.
One highchair is stored in apartment.
The saltwater swimming pool (probably the largest in Palm Cove) is surrounded by a new wooden deck and has tables and chairs and recliners for guests. There are also a few private areas nestled into the tropical gardens with BBQ and tables and chairs for outside cooking.

Guest access
There is a gym on site which you have access to. All the equipment is new.
Business center is also available for those on working holidays.
At the back of the resort there is dedicated numbered undercover parking specifically for our apartment.
A short stoll from a range of dinning and shopping options in Palm Cove, the location allows easy access to the Daintree Rainforest, Kuranda Skyrail , Port Douglas, Atherton Tablelands and Mossman Gorge.
The city of Cairns is 20 minutes drive away, with a bus-stop right outside.

A perfect holiday

A perfect holiday

It was the Holiday where the Universe conspires to turn everything to our favor. The complex, the apartment, the proximity to everything, the amenities, and the weather were beyond our expectations. Gina, the property manager made our stay that much more enjoyable, nothing was too difficult and she constantly went out of her way to ensure we had everything that we needed. Thanks for everything James and Lee. We shall return!!

Thank you so so much Daniel the apartment was immaculate, extremely clean, super comfy and beautiful everything you needed was provided, we especially loved the warm welcoming with Tim tams and coffee machine with pods. Gina was extremely friendly helpful with a positive happy attitude. We loved how we could get straight access to the pool on the ground level best apartment in the whole block! The location is spot on right next to the shops and restaurants. We didn’t want to leave! Loved it we will definitely be back and only be staying at Daniels apartment at drift! I highly recommend without doubt thank you again

Great location

The Good - great location, close to all that Palm Cove has to offer - plenty of sun loungers - shade & Sun near the pool to suit your preference - Pool area is very well maintained and clean. - Helpful Staff at Drift. - good sized apartment with plenty of utensils and storage. - Nice tropical feel to the pool area. What could be improved - apartment could do with some minor repairs and a fresh coat of paint. - the pool is quite cold - the apartment would benefit from a full kitchen (only has 2 stove tops and a microwave oven) - the main bedroom has space for a king sized bed. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the good far outweighed the bad.

Loved our stay

A modern house well located in quiet part of palm cove. Great facilities. We used the BBQ a few times and made our breakfast which is a cheaper option. Fair walk to town and beach but we had a car. Parking in palm cove a little of an issue. Loved the pool. The owners were friendly and very approachable. Will definitely stay again.
