A very enjoyable stay in an exceptional hotel.

The balcony was a great addition to the room and made a big difference to the size of the room. The bathroom was spacious with an enormous bath. There was considerable choice of breakfast food for all tastes. Staff were exceptional - always courteous and couldnt do more to help. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Disappointed we left after 2 nights. Would never go back again

Location was great but that’s where it ended.

Rooms are old and outdated and definitely not 5 star. Very small and dark

more than fine and i would recommend anyone to stay here

very friendly and helpful staff all around the nice building. location is more than excellent within close proximity (max 10 minutes) of many great restaurants, bars and shopping mall and within 20 minutes walk to china town

rooms are very clean and nice but a bit dated and the swimming pool is very small

First time in Asia and Singapore blew our minds and we are glad we selected Kempinski hotel.

Everything was wonderful.

Check-in process was way too slow and we ended up sleeping on the couches in the Lobby lounge as we were Jetlagged.

Very nice place but the housekeeping spoiled the experience

Perfect location, good combination of historic and modern style, breakfast (but could be a little more variations form day to day), front desk service was very good

minor things: - the regulation of the lighting was not good, main switched "killed" all lights, no option for a reading light at the bed - some green plants and maybe a coffee table set would make the balcony (Heritage Room) much more cozy major issue : the housekeeping did not keep up with the expectations. Sometimes not drinking water, mini bar not filled up, bath tub not cleaned, towels taken away but no fresh ones so basically no towels one day. There was something not OK almost every day. The front desk corrected the issues always in a few minutes, but I would expect the housekeeping to care much better. Unprofessional for my understanding in such a high price hotel.

朝食がとても美味しくて、スタッフの対応もとても良かったです。日本人スタッフも私の滞在中は、毎日おられて、心強かったです。

カーテンがボタンで遮光とレースに切り替えができるのですが、そのボタンがカーテンから離れたところにあり、カーテンの切り替えができない日があり、夜中に明るすぎで困りました。でも、翌日スタッフの人に相談すると、すぐにテクニカルの方が来てくれて、解決しました。

Ambiance and attention to detail, great location just far enough from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to Clarke Quay and MRT nearby. The most luxuriously splendid breakfast ever, professional and efficient staff

overall despite dislikes very good

Breakfast and hospitality was excellent.

Room 449 was very cold and despite increasing the temp. Price of wine in restaurant was in our opinion excessive.

Just a place to sleep, but never again .

The lighting button of balcony is under the dest, so client need to knee down and climb under the desk to switch off. House keeping is not in detail, Soundproof of rooms is worst, when I woke up late, I could hear the house keeping how to clean my nearby room.

I think this is the first and last time for me to stay at this hotel. Very disappointed./

Luxury at its finest! We loved our stay here and can’t wait to visit again.

Wonderful staff, comfortable and luxurious rooms and an incredible breakfast spread! We love our stay and felt welcome from the moment we arrived. This is Singapore hospitality at its finest and we will recommend to all our friends! The location is also superb for visiting all the sights and jumping on the MRT.

一股发霉的味道，半夜入住出现洗澡龙头的问题，换房间也不行，住了很多5星级酒店，我觉得和这个价格真的很不匹配。

Well positioned and great staff

The bed was extremely comfortable The staff were all very good but two ladies (Maxine and Tracey) stood out as going beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable The lobby lounge is reasonably well appointed and quite comfortable

We stayed in a Stamford Suite and found the room layout quite weird and not as comfortable as we expected. The entryway between shower & bath and toilet & vanity feels VERY odd, the table and 2 chairs make access to tea/coffee facilities and mini bar difficult, placing a large orchid directly in front of the TV was weird and we found the sofa quite uncomfortable. We were astonished returning from an evening out and looking forward to a nightcap to find the only bar actually in the hotel closed for a private function with no effort made to accommodate paying guests - surely the lobby lounge could have been made available!

Anniversary Getaway

Loved the decor of building, quiet even though the room was facing Street. Very comfortable bed. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Close to MRT, Museums and Parks.

Only bad thing was coffee. This was inconsistent with the extensive Breakfast on offer. Would recommend a proper Barista and coffee machine. Lighting in the room a little confusing. Our room had no option to just have bedside lamps on.

Overall and enjoyable stay in a centralized location

Room is quiet despite it being quite crowded given its central location.

Some visible damage on the furniture (e.g. hinge spoilt on cupboard doors) but still useable. An electrical socket not working.

The hotel is wonderful, food was great.... Participation of guest's needs was not up to the standard

Breakfast was great! But the maintenance job was terrible. The TV didn't work, even the second day the staff changed a room for my VIP Guests, the TV didn't work again

My guest informed FO to refresh the room, and 3 hrs later when she came back, the room was still not cleaned. TV didn't work. My guest was asked to change to another room, which the room was like downgrade as what i booked for them. No view at all... TV didn't work again...

History meets Contemporary

The hotel is located in the heart of the city which has a perfect combination of old school and modern singapore. It's proximity to the Arcade, malls and so many attractions in walking distance is a big bonus. Plus the room was comfortable, morning breakfast was amazing and the staff was super friendly and understanding.

Being an old revamped theatre there was not much space for a big pool which could accommodate a kid and their floaters/tubes.
