The location was perfect and convenient. Super easy check-in/check-out. The unit was very simple but had everything we needed, so if you’re “high maintenance” stay somewhere else. It’s dated, which didn’t bother us at all. We weren’t there to sit in the room all day. It gets a little warm in the afternoon but once the sun sets it’s nice…the owner, Michael is very responsive with a phone call…he doesn’t text so make sure to call. Had a great stay. Would definitely stay again.

I wanted to wake up and fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean, and have a clear view of the sun setting on the horizon from my balcony/lanai every night. The community pool and hot tub outside my doorstep. An accessible grill to prepare foods, so we could enjoy dinner on the balcony. This place couldn’t be more perfect. We also enjoyed short drives to local beaches - the unit had a beach chair, small beach umbrella, and 3 boogie boards, plus a cooler; snorkeling off the rocks directly outside the townhome; a long day at Volcano National Park driving along the southern edge of the island so we could stop at Black Sand Beach; and several trips into town for local history (the palace), shopping, Hawaiian ice, and Kona Brewery. I was a bit concerned to not have air conditioning in July, but with a high in the low 80’s, a mix of overcast and sun, fans, and a pool our family was fine. Plus no AC meant listening to waves. The property is dated (older style cabinets), but has the tools you need to cook and grill, dishwasher, etc. and washer/dryer. An excellent stay.

The location of this rental is perfect! The unit itself was clean and described perfectly in the listing. I agree with others that it could use some updating, but it didn't bother us and we would much prefer a clean unit with a perfect location. We had excellent communication with our host and had no concerns while we were there. Would definitely stay here again!

This is our second stay at this unit in Sea Village. We love the fact that we are OCEANFRONT in every sense. The master bedroom has a balcony out to the ocean and you can watch the ocean and horizon from the bed! We launch our paddleboards from the lava rocks and enjoy a sunset paddle every night. The unit is perfect for what we need, I would add some more comfy lanai chairs, but otherwise its good.

Cleanliness was an issue - we had to wash every dish and utensil we used. Perhaps the fault of the people who were before us. The view was awesome and we loved falling to sleep to the ocean waves. Loved having two balconies also. Although it was definitely rundown and needed a face lift - and several things needed fixing - we certainly recommend this place and hope to return one day.

This is a wonderful spot - the views of the ocean from nearly every window are amazing - it was clean had all needed and more from complete kitchen to beach supplies -The washer and dryer were great just as you come in the door no wet swim suits dripping all over - As you walk in the door in front of you is the ocean - What a way to come "home".For those who like pools and hot tubs these are located fenced in but literally just down the stairs (few) from your front door .The master bedroom also has an oceanview as well as lanai right over the sea.This place is great we will be back just trying to figure out when

We stayed 12/25/22 until 01/03/23 This was a great place. Was all that we expected. We had our 19 and 15 yr old with us. Lots of room. View was amazing!! Sunset, dolphins, whales and waves!!! This is the reason I picked this place and it didn’t disappoint. Had everything we needed. If you love to fall asleep to sound if waves then this is your place. Right beside pool so we could look out and see how many people where there. Close to restaurants and shops. Place had ceiling fans and extra fans. Didn’t find to hot at night to sleep either fan’s definitely helped with that.

This place was a great place. The view is amazing. If you want to listen to the waves. This is your place… Location is great not far from the restaurant and shopping. Easy to find and get around. Nice and close to the pool you can check out to see if busy or not. Lots of room for the 4 of us. Has a hide a bed which came in handy.
