Beautifully modern apartment with amazing views over the sea. The location is superb. The bed was lovely (although there's no window in the bedroom so it did get hot).

It wasn't clear at the point of booking that there would be a really large damage deposit. €400!?! The info probably was there but honestly, the "easy rent" portal was so complicated to use with all different bits of instructions here there and everywhere. Never was a portal more misnamed. I shouldn't have to install a whole other app just to get a door code. The deposit is far far too large. And it's for things like "don't dry your towels in the dryer when you've come straight from the beach" - well - there is no dryer, but sure, harangue me about that. "Don't get any sand in the shower" . Well, I'll do my best but the whole point of the flat is that it's next to the beach. "You have to use this water for the coffee maker and these tablets for the washing machine and...." The instructions just went on and on. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I appreciate that it's someone's home and they want it treated well, and that's completely understandable (although it didn't feel like a home, it felt very sterile) but having all those instructions, alongside the big deposit - it felt like I was being set up to lose the deposit. It was so noisy - not from street noise, that's to be expected and quite nice to hear people enjoying themselves - there is bunting tied across the street at first floor height (ie the height of the apartment) when it's windy it flaps constantly. You can't hear it from street level, but in the apartment there's such a loud buzzing/humming that you have to keep the windows shut so it gets very hot.

L'appartement est super, très fonctionnel et vraiment agréable. La vue sur la mer est très chouette et l'endroit est très charmant.

L'agence nous a accusé d'un dégat que nous n'avons pas fait et dont nous n'avions même pas conscience. Un mois plus tard les 400 euros de caution sont toujours en leur possession. Nous avons essayé de faire valoir notre bonne foi et nos droits, mais l'agence et le propriétaire ne veulent rien entendre. Les 400 euros de caution ne sont pas stipulés dans l'annonce, comme la demande d'accès au parking aux autorités locales (qui prend du temps) et l'exigence de sortie des poubelles sous peine de frais supplémentaires (heureusement, nos aviosn encore pris le temps de lire le long règlement d'ordre intérieur). Je comprends la logique de gestion des appartements à distance mais quand on vous vole une caution de 400 euros sans avoir fait d'état des lieux, ça fait mal ! Durant notre séjour, nous avons eu aussi une coupure électrique qui nous empêchait d'ouvrir la porte automatique du garage. Nous avons trouvé une solution (à distance avec l'agence) pour l'ouvrir manuellement. Donc beaucoup de mauvaises surprises et un vol déguisé de 400 euros en fin de séjour.

Appartement très propre avec une vue mer des baies vitrées et une cuisine bien équipée. La place de parking est suffisamment grande pour une voiture moyenne et bien pratique dans ce quartier. L'appartement est bien situé, tout proche du port, mais il faut s'attendre à pas mal de bruit même en février.

Le balcon n'est qu'un balconnet, à peine assez grand pour sortir fumer une clope. Gros vis-à-vis de l'immeuble en face sur l'appartement. Pas de fenêtre dans la chambre. Un bar à tapas très fréquenté est situé directement en-dessous de l'appartement, donc beaucoup de bruit l'après-midi et le soir, car isolation phonique médiocre. Pas de TV ni internet. Service client pas à la hauteur.

This property is in an amazing location. It's basically right on the beach. If you like to do ocean swimming, this is a great spot. The owners were mostly responsive in messaging and Whatsapp - until there were checking in complications.

THERE IS NO PARKING AT THIS RESIDENCE. There is 'technically' private parking, but to access there is a multi-day process with the city government to submit car information AND contract agreements with the owner (which was not provided and not included in any instructions for the parking). If you are picking up a rental at the Barcelona airport and then need to use your mobile phone to access the government website, it is effectively impossible. I went back and forth with the owner (who was initially helpful). Then I needed detailed information about the classification of our stay and needed specific contract documentation to submit. No response from the owner. Luckily I was in late season and could park on the street within walking distance. Very frustrating... DEPOSIT / DATA COMPROMISE: There is a €400 deposit that is not described in the Booking.com booking process. You are then required to access an entirely different platform (rentalninjas.com) that makes you submit more information (how is that used?). All of the access information is on that system. Booking.com didn't say this was required, it was not a clear part of the booking process and this compromised my data security. BEDROOM VENTILATION / AC: No windows that open in bedroom and no air conditioning in the apartment. There is a small porthole window that faces into a walkway but it does not open. There is a bedroom ceiling fan but there is no fresh air. I was there in November so it was beautiful sleeping weather. PENALTIES: If you don't take your trash out when you check out, you get a €50 penalty. This is a tidbit hidden at the very bottom of their property description that is only available on their system. There were no instructions on where to throw things away. RESPONSE: I left a day early, and asked them to please refund my deposit as soon as possible. It took them 17 days to refund my deposit from AFTER I left.

El estado del apartamento. Muy bien equipado. La ubicación.

Quizá podrían ajustar el precio al no ser temporada alta. Me parece excesivo el coste de la limpieza, debería tenerse en cuenta el estado que se deja . Nosotros lo dejamos bastante limpio.
