Our 7 night stay was incredible! The location was perfect. We were 3-4 blocks away from several of the bustling plazas with street performers, restaurants and food vendors yet the block and complex were quiet and serene. We spent most mornings wandering around and would usually come back mid afternoon to enjoy the air conditioning and a dip in one of the pools before going out for the evening (The kids pool was 10 steps outside of the apartment and rarely had people in it, the adult pool was steps away). Super convenient to have a main floor entrance. The space was large, the photos do not do it justice. The main floor was ample living space, well stocked kitchen and a powder bath. Second and third floors were large en suite bedrooms with patios it was just my husband and I so we did not even use the third floor, but we did enjoy the rooftop patio on the 4th level earning morning or evenings. We did not experience Maria’s cooking, but she was incredible and communicative. We flew overnight and arrived at 10 AM, they were very accommodating to take in our bags while we explored the city until check-in. We felt very safe in the city overall, but it was wonderful to have a secure building that was guarded 24/7 with lovely staff. The host sent us recommendations a week or so ahead of time, which were helpful in planning our trip. We also indulged in three of their recommended restaurants, which were incredible. We highly recommend this amazing accommodation and host team!

This was a perfect location in the walled city. Right outside of all the hustling of the city to enjoy the peace of the neighborhood and close enough to get to all the activities within five minutes. Maria is a master cook and super sweet. Osiris was easy to talk to and address any issues. Only concern would be the stairs for those who can’t do stairs. But the stairs also provide a level of privacy with each bedroom being on an opposite floor. We loved it! The internet was spotty.

We loved our stay at Osi’s! The unit is huge and the pictures do not do it justice. The roof top deck is lovely with its hammock and ocean views and the A/C works well. We had Marie cook a few meals for us and I can highly recommend her ceviche and fish dish with coconut rice. The complex retains some of its old world charm with modern updates such as adult and children pool areas. We felt safe and enjoyed easy access around old town. You will undoubtedly love your stay and bring back fond memories of this lovely home and Cartagena.

Perfect location for exploring Cartagena! We spent hours wandering through the walled city and were happy to enjoy the comfort of the appartment afterwards. the 2 bedrooms are situated on different floors, offering a lot of privacy. I really loved everything about our stay!

We had a fabulous time in Cartagena. We had a couple join us who have never been to Colombia and they fell in love with the city (and the country). We played golf, we did a day excursion to Isla Del Sol and walked and shopped and ate at some amazing restaurants. The location of your place is perfect and you can catch an Uber within minutes to anywhere you want to go. We were there for 5 days and time flew by and we didn’t even scratch the surface of things to do and places to go. We went outside of the walled city to the streets that have the umbrellas and highly recommend it. This is very safe with 24 hour security to let you in and out and Maria will take care of anything you need, cleaning/laundry etc…can’t wait to go back!

We had such a wonderful time staying here. It is a very comfortable and beautiful apartment. It is very centrally-located while also not being in an extremely crowded and loud area. The rooftop terrace is beautiful. Very good air conditioning. Maria was also a wonderful cook and very attentive. Osi, the owner was also very attentive and helped us with recommendations before arriving. We will definitely stay there in the future.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this home. It was quiet, clean, and conveniently located in the Old City. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go and the two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom connected to the bedroom were so comfortable and convenient. We made use of the pool in the development, as well, and Maria the housekeeper was available every weekday. The rooftop patio was lovely to sit outside in the early morning. It should be noted that you do need to be comfortable going up and down the stairs since the bedrooms are on the second and third floors. Air conditioning worked well in our bedrooms and the living room, and there was hot water, as well. I would definitely recommend staying at this home and I would be happy to return if I have the opportunity to visit Cartagena again!

Casa del Virrey Eslava is a beautiful location within the walled city of Cartagena. We enjoyed walking around its charming streets, historical monuments, cathedrals and many other fun places. The house’s terraza was very cute even though we were so tired after a long day of nonstop walking, that we couldn’t make it to the top roof to enjoy it! We adjusted to the many stairs of this house (quite the workout) but beware… for older people this will be an issue. Both bedrooms were comfortable, each with a bathroom and a balcony. We didn’t utilize the balconies a as they were a little too tight for our comfort. All 3 fkiors were equipped with AC, which we welcomed happily after been walking around this super humid city! Maria, the house keeper, was very nice and available to help when needed. The place is always clean as well as its surroundings. People at the front desk were also kind and also greeted us with a smile. We highly recommend this place as you won’t need to rent a car due to its convenient location. But if you are eager to explore outside of it, taxis are always available.

This apartment is modern, with great views from the roof deck and easy access to the Old City. Communication with Osi was seamless. The pool was a nice reprieve from the heat.

Apartment was in a beautiful building and most importantly it was clean and with powerful A/C units in each room. Best of all, you were within walking distance of the busy centro but still far enough to be quiet. One call out is there are a lot of stairs (4 floors) so may not be the ultimate option for anyone with mobility challenges. Overall would recommend!

The townhouse is beautiful and well-appointed. Has wonderful amenities and a lovely housekeeper who is an amazing cook. We would definitely return. It was the best place we stayed in during our trip to Colombia.

This was our first family trip to Cartagena, Colombia. We traveled for a wedding and decided to stay a few more days to enjoy the area. The VRBO was beyond expectations. The location was perfect and walking distance to everything we needed. The top patio was breathtakingly beautiful and we enjoyed the sunset views. The complex was well secured with desk workers that were friendly and helpful. The bedrooms were spacious, clean, and each had tv, air conditioning, and balcony. The kitchen was supplied with every item we needed. We requested Maria be available and she was an added benefit to help with meals or shopping. This VRBO can’t be beat and we look forward to future trips.

I spent 8 nights at this great apartment with my college age daughter and her friend. We had easy access to everything within the beautiful walled city. Most everything is easily walkable, but it’s also very easy to call an Uber or hail a cap outside of the complex. The pool was great to stay cool on hot days. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The rooftop patio is awesome for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There are a lot of stairs which we enjoyed for the exercise, but it’s something to consider if you have any physical limitations. Overall, we would highly recommend this property!

Came to Cartagena for NYE with three of my girlfriends. Booking, checkin, and communication with the owner were outstanding leading up to our trip. Osiris was very patient while my group number changed due to travel plans changing and answered all our questions. The property is lovely, located in a secure property within the walled city, just steps away from the ocean and close to action, but far enough away to be very quiet. 2 pools, gym, hot tubs were available for our use within the posted hours. The unit itself was well equipped and comfortable. AC worked great! There are 4 levels, with lots of stairs, so may be difficult for some. Maria is a fantastic bonus that is available to cook and will come keep the place tidy and clean. We saw zero bugs of any kind during our 4 day stay. Maria’s food is delicious and it was wonderful to eat some home cooked meals along with exploring the restaurants in Cartagena.

A beautiful 3 story vertical home with an additional 4th story rooftop deck. Very comfortable furnishings. Quiet gated complex a few blocks from major points of interest. Housekeeper Maria provides lovely coocked meals if requested. There are stairs betwenn the 4 floors that were a challenge at first but quickly became easily navigitable by this 72 year old! All in all a lovely residence near the old city walls. Also, a fabulous adults only lap pool!

Modern, spacious condo in a great complex, close to everything in the historic centre. We appreciated the large pool and the gym. Felt very safe. Nice to be able to do laundry and have a rooftop patio with ocean views. It should be noted there are quite a few stairs to get to the second bedroom and laundry/rooftop terrace, as an FYI for anyone with mobility issues. We’d stay again, highly recommend!

Our group really enjoyed their time at this property. Osiris and Maria were great - very easy to work with and both looked after us well. The apartment is within a great complex located in Centro, a short walk from anything within the walls of the old town, and the complex staff and security are also professional good folks. Osiri was very responsive and even arranged for a trusted drover to pick us up at the airport. The apartment complex was beautiful, clean and well located. The apartment was very nice and the maid Maria not only cleaned every day but also bought our food and made us breakfast each day. She made it so easy for us to relax and enjoy all that Cartagena had to offer. We were visiting to attend a friend’s wedding and vacation a bit. We visited the Islas de Rosario a couple days enjoying the beautiful warm water. Highly recommend staying at this property.

This is an a wonderful 3 floor condo inside the walled Old Town. It is spacious, comfortable, and very well kept. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and private balcony, and there is a lovely, breezy roof deck with a hammock, tables and an ocean view. The kitchen is well equipped and we were greeted with a selection of delicious local fruit. In the complex there are 2 swimming pools, a gym, sauna, hot tubs and 24 hour security. The location was perfect - an easy walk to anything you want to do in the Walled Town. Maria came every day to tidy up and give helpful advice and information. Osiris responded promptly to all correspondence. We had a wonderful stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Great location, plenty of space, lovely decor and very clean. There are 18 stairs to each floor, so be aware if that is a concern for you. Maria the maid came daily to clean, and would do other tasks (make meals, or do laundry) if asked, however since we do not speak Spanish there was a bit of a communication issue. Not a problem for us since the grocery store and great restaurants are close by. ATM is located approximately 2 blocks away Daviviienda We enjoyed great craft cocktails at Alquimico, just down the street and dinners at La Cocina de Pepina and Celele in Getsemani

Lovely apartment in a beautiful setting in the old walled city. Wonderful private rooftop terrace overlooking the sea. Two very comfortable bedrooms with privacy. Apartment complex is well maintained and the pool is wonderful, and necessary after a hot day of sightseeing.

This location is absolutely perfect. It is within walking distance of all the great restaurants and bars as well as shopping areas. Cartagena is a walking city. So being in close proximity to everything without walking out of your door into a crowd is a rare and pleasurable find. This place was in the higher end area in El Centro, but was an easy walk to Gestemani. The pool was magnificent and there is a gym with cardio equipment and weights. This place was immaculate. I mean not one stain, bug, crumb, anywhere. Multiple balconies and the rooftop make it easy to enjoy the outdoors as well as the indoors. We liked the fact that both bedrooms had big adult beds and closets. Often one bedroom is small with twin beds but BOTH bedrooms in this unit are identifical. Perfect for two couples or two people who like their own space like my friend and me. Maria was amazing, she cleaned, she shopped, she cooked and did whatever was needed to make our stay pleasurable. The owner is very responsive and wonderful to work with. You will not regret staying here on your trip.

The condo is in the historic walls of Cartagena, being able to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The association that the condo is in was like a tropical oasis, with hot tub, pools, running water streams and fountains. Walking into the condo, it was air conditioned and sparkling clean including all corners of the floor. Maria, the housekeeper, was very polite and friendly. She showed us the main floor which was the kitchen, 1/2 bathroom, living room, and dining room. Upstairs we’re two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have closets with drawers and hangers, cable tv, a balcony with seating, a bathroom with a large shower, and separate air conditioners so you can control your own temperature. Up from there was a washer for clothes and the secluded rooftop balcony. The balcony has flowering plants, chairs and tables, a hammock, and a clothes line to dry your clothes. On Friday and Saturday night the city had fireworks that you can see from the balcony (apparently every Friday and Saturday) as well as the ocean. The owner made sure we had everything we needed during our stay (thank you Oriris) and Maria made sure our stay was authentic by cooking us fabulous meals (for a fee) well worth it! Maria was so nice we all said a special thank you to her when we left. I can’t say enough about our stay at this condo, it was excellent!!!

This condo is in a fabulous location and it has everything that you might need during your stay. Owner was a pleasure to deal with and her housekeeper Maria made us the most amazing fish dinner. I would definitely stay here again!! It was a wonderful trip.

Our stay in Cartagena was absolutely perfect! Once we landed at the airport, it was just a short 15 min taxi to the house. The host, Osiris, provided us with detailed information on how to get into the building. I was blown away by the beautiful architecture and amazing facilities throughout the building (gym, sauna, jacuzzis, pool, etc). The house itself is 4 stories (including the balancing rooftop) and each one is elegantly crafted and wonderfully decorated. The first floor is a very nice kitchen and living room and bathroom, the 2nd and 3rd floors are very spacious bedrooms, and the 4th floor is a large rooftop terrace with an amazing view! The building is located at a perfect spot that is near to some of Cartagena's best restaurants! Everything you need is in walking distance. We loved our stay and highly reccommend anyone visiting Cartagena to stay here! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality Osiris

My family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 3 and 8) spent a week at this property in April. My husband and I agreed that this is the first property we have stayed where we did not have a single complaint. The apartment complex is well maintained with beautiful gardens and the workers were very helpful and friendly. It is conveniently located and close to everything. It is also on a quiet street, which was important to us, as we were told that other sections can get very noisy at night. The apartment is lovely and has everything you need. There are three flights of stairs and at first I was a bit nervous with my three year old. But he managed them fine and would climb all the way to the rooftop deck. The bedrooms are spacious and the air conditioning works like a charm, which is a necessity for Cartagena's hot climate. After our kids went to bed, my husband and I spent almost every night on the rooftop terrace enjoying the gorgeous view and cool air. The pools were a welcome respite after longs days exploring in the hot sun. We were usually the only ones there and my kids took full advantage. Osi was great to deal with. She was very responsive to all my questions and I found her quite helpful in planning our activities. Maria is an amazing cook. I so miss her ceviche and coconut rice! Her coconut rice was the best we had during our stay.

This place was very well furnished and in a great location. We felt very safe and extremely happy with security guards and Maria. Maria did an outstanding job cleaning the place and helping us with any questions we had. I would recommend this place if you are wanting to be inside the wall city. Close to great restaurants and shopping.

The home is spacious, nicely designed, spotlessly clean and well furnished. Its best amenities for us were its large rooftop patio, shared pool, and location. Parts of the Historic Center of Cartagena are busy and often crowded late into the night. Osi and Steve's home--and the condo shows the thought, care and warmth of a home--is a five minute walk from these areas but not a part of them, which is perfect.

Wonderful place. Very luxurious. Away from the noise but close enough to walk everywhere. Beautiful rooftop patio with view of the ocean; great for morning coffee or watching sunset with a cold cerveza! Owner was very easy to work with and helped set up one of our excursions. I would definitely recommend hiring Maria for at least one meal (we had her cook three for us). Only issue we had was driver who picked us up charged us MUCH more for the 15 minute ride to the condo. We'll chalk that one off to experience. Overall a great experience and we will certainly stay there again next time we are visiting!
