We spent a very enjoyable week here with children and grandparents. Amazing view of the ocean and a very well appointed unit. Extras like spices and kitchen utensils, charging outlets in every room, hand lotion, and copious beach equipment were all greatly appreciated. Some of the appliances needed a cleaning... Cleaning out the filters and running some cleansing cycles on the dishwasher, washer and coffee maker greatly improved their function. Club House on the ocean was gorgeous and we enjoyed drinks and food there on many days. Kids all had fun in the pool and asked to go back there every day. Staff were pleasant but overly watchful, with any minor rule deviation being called out and corrected with our group and many others at the pool. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would consider returning next time we're on the Big Island.

Loved the property and view! Pool and onsite restaurant were great. Only downside was parking for more than one vehicle however we were able to find visitor parking in the complex.

Great house. Had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. Great location to tour the island or just go to the beach. Ocean Club was great for morning workouts and scenic lunch or dinner. The hosts were always responsive to my questions. Would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Hawaii and especially our accommodations at the Hali Kai. This condo is outstanding and is beautifully located with a direct ocean view. It was very clean, well equipped with supplies and tastefully decorated. We really appreciated the owners’ interest in ensuring our vacation was stress free and their offer to contact them if we had any concerns, of which there were none. We would definitely look to re-book this unit upon our return to the Big island!

Great floor plan and location and owner responsivity

Hali'i Kai Townhome exceeded our expectations in every way. The luxurious accommodations, breathtaking views, and abundant resort amenities made for an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating escape on the Big Island. Here are a few additional details that I found particularly noteworthy: The private ocean club is a true gem. The pool is stunning, and the food and drinks are delicious. We enjoyed spending evenings there listening to live music and watching the sunset. The lush landscaping throughout the resort is beautiful and well-maintained. We loved taking walks around the property and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The location of the resort is ideal. It is close to Anaeho'omalu Beach, the King's Shops, and many other popular attractions. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. They answered all of our questions promptly and provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The townhome felt like HOME. It had every amenity you would need when spending a holiday week away from home. Overall, I cannot say enough positive things about Hali'i Kai Ocean Front Resort. It is a truly special place and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable vacation in Hawaii.

A first for all 5 of us, our trip from northern Montana to this spacious, well-supplied townhome with a plethora of information in a 3-ring binder gave us multiple places to go/things to do as it was a bucket-list Hawaiin dream-come-true excursion. We snorkeled twice in the nearby Mauna Lani beach area, spying multiple exquisite varieties of fish in their underwater habitat. I kept singing "How Great Thou Art" in my head as I witnessed God's ocean beauty below the surface. We ate well daily at our "home" and in establishments, but tops for my daughter and I was Papa Jacks on the Hilo side of the island. Small restaurant, reasonable prices and exquisite choices with the chef coming out to chat afterward with each table. Also on the Hilo side is the Hawai'i Tropical Bioreserve & Garden (Botanical Gardens) which held splendid plant varieties from all over the planet that were thriving well. Back near our resort, the meal & historical entertainment at the Waikoloa Beach Marriot Sunset Lu'au was delicious and exhibited authentic music/dancing. We flew 1 day to Honolulu utilizing David "Kawika" "Get Your Guide" to take in Pearl Harbor/Arizona memorials plus a grand tour of the Mighty Mo naval ship, learning LOTS. We had brews plus a seaside meal at the 604 before flying back to "our" island. Utilizing the onsite resort pool/restaurant/bar was a hit, plus it's where we met our friendly landlords. Just imagine a beautiful setting in paradise and staying in a gorgeous, clean, fully fully furnished property. This is what you will have here! I can’t say enough good about this property. Hosts were awesome to deal with and we have never felt this comfortable in a rental and we have rented many many vacation rentals.

Wonderful! Loved everything about it! The hosts were sooo helpful. Maryanne & Steve gave so much detailed information ahead of time. They paid a lot of attention to detail and were so friendly. Their home reflected that. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future. But I hope to try one of their other properties on a different island as I am confident they will have great things to offer!

Awesome location and amenities! The house was perfect for our family. My son loved having the putting green right across from us and took full advantage of the golf course and driving range. We felt very at home. Steve and Maryann were helpful and communicated quickly. Can’t wait to come back!!

The house was great. We super appreciated the gear - made the beach trips fun and easy. Also loved the Ocean Club - beautiful views and good bar. Location was great for touring the island - Hāpuna beach is only 15 minute drive.

This unit is perfect for Ohana to enjoy all that the Big Island offers. Great resort location close to beaches, entertainment and dining. There are plenty of amenities to enjoy a beach day or just hang at the complex pool. Do make to trip to Waimea for The Fish and the Hog, Big Island Brewhaus, and Moa Kitchen. Don’t forget the Malasada Truck at the turn for Beach 69. A hui hou!

We just got back from a 5 night stay at this condo- it was amazing! It’s even nicer than the photos! The condo was very clean, modern, updated, and had all the amenities you could ask for. The set up was perfect with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There were 2 patios with incredible views of the golf course and ocean! The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. The community was amazing- right across the street there is a tennis and basketball court. You can also check out a pickleball net from the front desk- we did that 2 days. The Ocean Club was amazing! The pool is nicer than a lot of luxury hotels we have stayed at- there is a jacuzzi with a sandy bottom, loungers in the wet deck in the pool, and a restaurant and bar poolside. The location was perfect! We were fortunate to be there right after the volcano started erupting so we went there one day, it was a nice 2 hour drive. Went to the Farmers market and to a few nice restaurants in Waimea which was less than 30 min away. Kona was about 40 minutes and Hapuna Beach was beautiful and only 15 minutes away. I had a few questions before and during the trip and the owner was so nice and responded quickly each time. Everything was amazing and we are planning on going again next summer- I won’t even bother looking at another condo!

The property is stunning! The view was exactly what I was needing. The rooms are spacious and the condo is stocked with everything you’ll ever need. Waking up to the ocean view was awesome. Looking forward to our next stay.

This place was amazing and perfect for our larger family. There was a huge master bedroom and 2 other bedrooms with bathrooms next door and a pull out couch downstairs. The place came supplied with everything you would need for your stay including a washer and dryer. We loved the closet full of beach gear. Steve and Maryanne were super helpful answering all our questions before the trip. This unit and resort were beautiful, we would love to come back again!

Great find in great location on the big island in Waikoloa Beach. The 3bdr townhome in the Halii Kai development was perfect for families or a group of friends. The townhome itself was spacious and nicely appointed, but what really made it spectacular was the better than expected ocean views and amazing sunsets. Would definitely return.

Loved Hali'i Kai in general...gated, spread out, great view, tennis, pickleball, putting green, pool and beach club and access to walk the costal path. 7F was perfect for our needs...7 adults, 4 beds, 3 baths, 2 lanais, place to park, view of golf course and ocean...hard to beat. Loved not having to bring or find our own towels, beach chairs, cooler, etc...and there was a case of beer and lots of spices for cooking...we added a few of both. We also interacted with our neighbors some which was nice but the condo was perfectly quiet with all the doors closed...no neighbor noises at all. Loved being north of Kona too. Definitely gonna stay here again...also the owners were as hands on as I needed them to be with pretrip email contact. Also they have a handy folder with places to eat, rent, swim, golf, etc.

We had such an amazing time while on the Big Island. The rental was very clean and the location was so convenient. The rental came with all we needed to enjoy a day at the beach. Steve and Maryanne were wonderful hosts from the very beginning of the booking process all the way through our stay. They sent us a plethora of information leading up to our arrival with different day trips, restaurants and beaches to check out and were very prompt to respond to questions from us. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!

From the moment we pulled in to the complex we were happy we choose this condo. Beautiful complex! When we entered the condo we were really impressed how nice it was. Then we went out on the patio, what a view!! This condo has very thing you need, well stocked kitchen and so was the closet with all the water items. Several books on things to see and do and eat on the island. The pool and restaurant at the pool were great. This was probably one of the best properties I have ever stayed at anywhere domestic and international ! Great location, the King and Queen shopping area was close and had everything we needed. Two hour drive to the volcano but a beautiful drive. We hated to leave, but really want to go back soon. Thank you Steve and Maryanne

A really great location and unit to stay in. Nice partial view of the ocean over golf course. (It's behind the Hilton complex so you have a view of that.) Quiet location. Highly recommend! Minor irritants: fans generally not controllable, grill didn't work (owner was VERY responsive and helpful), no body wash in one bath (owner IMMEDIATELY had it fixed), kitchen design not conducive to multiple folks working together due to triangular shape (not much you can do about that, we made it work... I watched LOL). The Ocean Bar was nice with good food. Most folks raved about it but we had at least one night with indifferent service at best. (Bar tender ignored my friend who clearly was waiting to order and helped another customer who arrived after her. For me, he just seemed distracted. One of the servers was a bit brusque. Our interactions with Pua, were outstanding. She's a gem as was Henos - not sure how to spell his name LOL)

This was an amazing property, with spectacular views, a very clean home and wonderful accommodations. All beach-related items were provided, along with soaps, laundry detergent and other such necessities. The owners clearly have pride in their home and it shows. We cannot wait to come back on a revisit. This property and Kona overall was an amazing experience for our family and we thank you!
