Our stay at the Shellharbour Cottage was fantastic, it’s right next to the beach and perfect for the family. Property was clean and tidy with all the amenities needed.
Rae (owner) was easy to deal with and checking in/out was a breeze.
Would love to stay here again with my family!

Shell Cove is a lovely spot to spend time with family, the new Waterfront Tavern has great food and the beach is directly across the carpark from the property.

in between old town and new town…might be a good spot for parents with self sufficient children given beach access and patrolled beach…I recommend old town…stayed with 2 pets so couldn’t do take up what looked like interesting restaurants…suggest andaman thai …take away sitting in one of the covered booths on the water front … need to improvise with glasses if you’d like a wine but Andaman were able to help out ….
One of the best things about this house is while it has great beach access it is very private…something that all the massive new ‘fence to fence’ houses have sacrificed

Great location so nice to walk to everywhere. We loved the walking tracks and not having to take the car out once. The house was as per the images and a very casual setting. It wasn't as clean as we are used to and felt it was a little overpriced for the furnishings. A new bed in the main bedroom (front room) is needed as you hear the springs popping as you move. Overall very relaxing place.

We have had the loveliest time at this cottage. Very comfortable inside and out on the deck (looks new!). The kitchen is well equipped with lots of extras provided. The beach is just outside the back gate and we could walk to everything in the local village (supermarkets, fish and chip shops, pubs). We recommend this highly to any family and friend groups for a beach getaway.

The property was beautifully clean and welcoming. Some of the decor and kitchen supplies were a little tired but it kind of added to the experience. Lots of board games for the kids, a true holiday destination. Thanks Rae, for sharing your family home. Loved seeing the photos and history of the house too.

Great location
Just across from beach (car park between) so easy to just grab beach stuff and walk across the road. Walking distance to shops/cafes/parks. We enjoyed walking to restaurants for dinner ect.
House comfortable and clean. Just a tip- having a vacuum on the property would have been more convenient for tidying up after kids than sweeping with a broom

The cottage is very clean, cosy and is in a great location. The beach is so close and has lovely sand. Dogs had a great holiday too! Very relaxing stay. Rae is very lovely to deal with. Thanks Rae!

Highly recommended
This is a great property for a beach front holiday. Location is perfect, just a stroll to the beach and kids playground. Rae is the perfect property host who has literally thought of everything from water bucket for your feet when returning from the beach to a fully equipped kitchen + utensils. She also provided board games and love the photos on the wall of when her father built this property. It has a family feel and I'm so relaxed following our little getaway. We are already pondering when to rebook our next stay. Thanks for everything Rae! We'll be in touch again, I'm sure 😊

A great stay!
Have just had a great few days at this cottage. Straight out the back to the beach and easy walk to the pool and cafes in town. Kids loved the “cricket pitch” and the bike tracks outside the back yard. Very clean and comfortable and everything we needed. Will be back.

Close to beach. Comfortable beds and lounge. Tiny bit expensive for what it is. Could do with a good clean ie light switches were dirty, lights full of insects etc.
The area is not very dog friendly.

Great little pet friendly beach cottage.
Thanks Rae for a great stay in your little cottage. Whilst not a modern beach abode, lots of character of an original 1950’s beachside cottage with everything you need, very comfortable and convenient to beach and Shellharbour village. Owner easy to deal with and accommodating. Thanks.

Another wonderful stay
We craved a completely fuss free getaway for school hols & chose this cottage for the second time. Rae was incredibly helpful as before, and the place is just the perfect ambience and location for a low key, retro kind of experience. The house is very clean, great comfy bedding, all the basics in the kitchen, thoughtful extras like boogie boards so we don't have to haul them. Just lovely and chilled out and easy :)

Perfect location in very close probity to the beach and the multiple cafes and restraunts barely used the car the whole time I was there as everything was very walkable to. Nice clean place and very nice deck for a BBQ with friends. Highly recommend.

Everything was straight forward and easy the owner Rae is an amazing person she was checking to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything, our stay there was amazing you got the beach fill instantly .
