Great place to stay it is a little remote so definitely hire a car. Villa facilities were great. Only slight negative was the kitchen units smelled a little bit foisty. If you like the peace and quiet of your own space in lovely surroundings you can’t go wrong here

One of the best places we have stayed in zanta. It's out the way but close enough to the towns. Going to be booking to go back nexts year.

The villa and its facilities were perfect. It is quite close to the airport so you can hear some aircraft noise but it is not so intrusive. Otherwise it is a very peaceful area. We found 3 very good restaurants within a 20 minute walk so were very happy!

I would like to say a big thank you to David and the management team for our lovely stay at villa Ella. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Denise and Paul were very helpful which made our stay even more pleasant. We found the villa very spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The pool and the BBQ are fantastic. It was also great to have a washing machine and Wi-Fi! The villa is the perfect distance from Laganas; not too close and not too far. Taxis are freely available too. (We generally walked to Laganas in the morning and caught taxis back later in the day) I highly recommend villa Ella and hope to return one day.

We both had a fantastic time In this beautiful villa. Not too far or too close to the busy laganas, and close too kalamaki. We loved it!

Upon arrival (too early, due to flight times), we met Denise who was cleaning the property etc. she kindly dropped us off into town, we hired a car straight away and had lunch. Villa Ella is lovely, a nice little welcome package in the fridge and tea/coffee to start us off. we all settled in straight away, went shopping, 5 minutes in the car to Lidl although the local supermarket (yes a little pricey) was very nice too. We met Paul who was cleaning the pool and chatted to him. absolutely loved the BBQ area, we all loved the pool area. We could go at our own pace. Air con was great. Washing machine a bonus, so hardly any dirty washing for home. We will most definitely return. Thank you for a lovely holiday and have already recommended Villa Ella to friends & family.

We were a family of 4 and found the accommodation very spacious. Plenty of wardrobe space. The main bed mattress we found hard but that's a personal preference. The villa is out of town and away from any noise - lovely and peaceful. I would suggest a hire car. There are a few dvd's and cd's available which was great for nights in. The wifi is very very good. The management team are exceptional and very quick to respond to any queries. We have a 5 year old and a 7 year old and the pool depth was great for them but not for anybody wanting to swim lengths. The kitchen has a good collection of plates etc. The frying pan could do with being replaced. The washing machine worked well (the handle is broken off but a utensil works to open it). No dishwasher which funnily enough had us eating out more lol. Zante is beautiful. We would definitely recommend hiring your own motor boat and sailing around the caves. We found banana beach to be our favourite beach. In summary we would have no problem recommending the villa to friends and family.

We all had a wonderful stay at Villa Ella, the villa is fully equipped with everything that you require, the welcome pack was greatly appreciated so we could all have either a nice cool drink or a coffee/tea on our 1st arrival. There is a local supermarket only 5 minutes walk away and a Lidl supermarket on the main Agrillia Road. Villa Ella is perfectly situated so you are not in the hustle and bustle of Laganas but it is only a short walk away (approx. 20 mins) if you choose to join the night life of the busy town. I recommend Bon Appetite for an evening meal, this is a friendly, family run business and the meals are very reasonably priced. Kalamaki which is the next town along is a beautiful place to visit, they have some lovely restaurants and bars, I would recommend Massa restaurant, the food is amazing there. We hired a car for the duration of the holiday so we could tour the island, I would recommend going to either Banana beach or St Nicholas beach they offer some amazing water sports, parasailing is a must! We also visited the Olive Press which is only a 5-10 minutes drive away from the Villa, you can try the delicious olives and olive oil after you have had a tour. The communication from all of the management team was excellent from start to finish. Overall we had a fantastic holiday in Zante and Villa Ella was a perfect base, we would definitely recommend Villa Ella to family and friends and hope to be back again in the future. Many Thanks

Had a lovely holiday at villa Ella it was perfect for us 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The pool was so welcoming and a lovely treat , we used taxis to get to the resort kalamaki was most suited for our family it was only €7 each way, we also hired a car which made getting about easier we discovered a lot of the island . The communication from start to finish was excellent the lady from the management team we met at the villa was lovely and helpful. Overall the holiday was excellent and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful holiday staying at Villa Ella, everything was in top notch condition and we have already booked to return next year. The location is far enough away from Laganas that your not involved in all the hustle and bustle (in fact its very quite and peaceful), yet your only a 20 min walk away should you choose to take a stroll. It's about the same distance to the beach and a very easy cheap taxi ride to the nice family friendly town of Kalamaki. The pool is larger than a lot of holiday villas of this type and the depth is perfect all round for games etc. for Children over 6/7 upwards. The open plan lounge/kitchen is of a fantastic size with a decent TV should you fancy an indoor escape from the Sun or a film in the evening (lots of DVD's are provided). We did not hire a car as I hired a bike but some form of transport is essential if you want to go to the better Supermarkets which are around 15mins away by pedal power. Next year we will be hiring a car but you could get by using a taxi to do the larger shops and walking to a small (expensive for some items) local supermarket for simple items like drinks and snacks. No complaints from us, loved it!!!!

Villa Ella is a beautiful villa situated in a peaceful, quite area & not for from Laganos or Kalamaki. Its about a 20 minute walk to a lovely beach where I walked most mornings around 5k to Kalamaki to meet friends & family for breakfast. We spent most of our evenings in Kalamaki after a day by the pool we would get a cab which was 8 euros, we tried many of the restaurants on offer & the food was outstanding & very cheap we were so impressed. The pool was cleaned 3 times a week & Mike who cleaned the pool was friendly & I had a few chats with him, Simone welcomed us to the Villa & said if we needed anything to give her a call, we was given a folder with all the details we needed. There is a supermarket just around the corner which stocks most stuff you need there is also a Lidl not to far but not walking distance, we got a bit of shopping but to be honest its cheap enough to eat out. We were all out here for my daughters wedding which was a fantastic day & a stunning setting which i will never forget. I fell in love with this lovely Island & its people, food & also this lovely Villa i would highly recommend this villa I didn't want leave I would like to thank David & Denise for letting out their villa to us it a gem, also thanks to Jill, Simone & Mike & I hope I can get back to Zante in the near future & Villa Ella will be first on my list.

Found the villa very easily . Villa itself lovely ,well kept and the pool really makes it . bedrooms good sizes.plenty of wardrobe space. Simone from the management company visited us to check everything was OK and the pool cleaned by an English couple. We felt good knowing we had someone near by if we needed anything . Villa is in a good location for kalamaki and laganas .lidl nearby too.plenty of nice restaurants in kalamaki. car is definitely needed. Would recommend the villa and might return one year. Very nice villa , had everything u could require, lovely peaceful area and within easy reach of shops,beach etc. Had a lovely time and Simone at the villa management team was a great help. Would definitely go back again and highly recommend Home Away. Dave

The villa was very close to the airport (10 minutes in a taxi) and easy to find. There were 'welcome' goodies when we arrived which were very much appreciated. We chose not to have a car but everything we needed was either a walk away or a short taxi ride. A mini market is 5 minutes walk away with a bigger supermarket 15 minutes. It is about a 30 minute walk to the main road and a bit longer to the beach road where there are shops and nice restaurants. We walked one way and got a taxi back (6-8 euros). It is true to say there are several bars and clubs frequented by groups of 'youngsters' but we had no problems with them and everyone was very friendly. We particularly liked the three restaurants on the beach road and also Bon Appetite just off the main road. We had a very relaxing week at Villa Ella, it was clean, had everything we needed and the pool was very welcome in the hot sunshine. Just a shame we had to come back to cold England.

This is my 2nd visit to the Villa and it was even better than the Last visit. Clearly the owner is constantly trying to make improvements as there is now internet access and even connection to watch British TV, this really is home from home. I carried out some of the activities recommended by the owner, such as the Horse Riding at the Site Just at the bottom of the road on the way to Laganos and went on the Turtle Boat trip and saw Turtles just off Laganos Beach and went swimming in the sea just off Turtle Island. Both myself and wife had an excellent time, during our stay and we can thoroughly recommend booking Villa Ella as this is my second visit and the Villa is still presented to a very high standard. Thanks again to the owner, i will be booking again for next year

We had a lovely stay at villa Ella, highly recommended to family with children, situated on a quiet road but only 5 mins by car to lively areas... Villa Ella is immaculately presented, fully equipped with TV/wifi/kitchen/washing machine.. even pool toys... set on a quiet road but only 5 minutes from the shops. Car hire/boat trips are recommended to fully appreciate the beautiful coast line/countryside of Zante.

Very impressed with the villa and its pool - just as described and very easy to settle into immediately. The pool was maintained regularly during our stay without any intrusion. The villa was clean and looked after very well. We hired a jeep and went out and about which was great fun but then came back to relax in peace and quiet by the pool. The location was just what we wanted. All in all a great two weeks - thank you!
