Villa nel Monte is perhaps the best property my wife and I have ever rented. Not only was the house, property and pool beautiful but the owners were very communicative and helpful before we even arrived. The real gold star goes to Lidia who lives near by. She went with the flow when our travels hit a snag, pushing our arrival back a day. She went above and beyond when one of our party suffered a back injury that required a visit to a doctor. She sorted out location of clinic and called ahead to prepare them for our arrival. She, of course, was also only a text away if we needed a suggestion of where to go from restaurants to beaches and just about anything you could think to ask about. She was worth her weight in gold. I highly recommend this location as a wonderful rental and good spot to see so much in that region. Nicolosi itself is a small, quiet town but it too has some nice restaurants and a few pubs that are 10-20 minute walk from the house. Grocery and butcher are a 5 minute walk up the road so easy to stock up for those days you just won't want to leave the pool. And trust me...you will have at least one of those days. Fantastic place!

I had a week stay at villa nel Monte with 6 other adult members of my family. The villa was beautiful, very clean, comfortable beds, great pool, perfect outdoor area and barbecue, well equipped kitchen….we had everything we could have possibly needed! Lidia and her mum were very friendly and super helpful. We arrived much later than scheduled due to an unexpected 2 hours wait for our hire cars but this was not a problem. It was easy to keep in touch with Lidia and she made me feel at ease about the delay. We arrived to a warm welcome from Lidia’s mum and she had a made a fruit tart and limoncello for us (which were delicious) We did day trips by car to Taormina, Catania and Syracuse which were all within easy reach from the villa. I would loved to have stayed for another week to have had more time to enjoy the villa and pool! My family and I would definitely stay again if we returned to Nicolosi in the future.

The villa had everything you could want - pots, pans, cups, cutlery, coffee machines, toaster, microwave, etc. We cooked every night and had a great family time around the big kitchen table. We all enjoyed playing table tennis and foosball (unfortunately, couldn’t use the pool as it was still too cold). The garden was well taken care of and so peaceful with many birds chirping around all day long. The host (Lidia) was very responsive and helpful and gave us many tips on where to go and what to do. We took our kids for paragliding and they had an amazing experience. Overall, we had a memorable time at the villa and would highly recommend it, especially for family vacations.

Villa Bel Monte is a beautiful villa. The owners were wonderful to work with prior to our stay as during our stay. We were greeted upon arrival. There was a homemade cake as well as fruit and beverages. The grounds are beautiful. The villa is very comfortable and easily accommodated 3 couples and 2 single adults. The location is in Nicolosi which is within walking distance of the villa and offers some outstanding restaurants, patisseries and grocery stores. The airport in Catania is about 25 minutes from the villa. The kitchen is well equipped and organized. The beds and showers were comfortable. We would not hesitate to rent at Villa Nel Monte again!!!

Villa Nel Monte is beautiful. Our experience was fantastic. The photos accurately represent the property. It is located in Nicolosi outside of Catania which is about 25 minutes from the airport. It is very walkable into town with some fabulous restaurants and patisserie!! The Toti family owners are a dream to work with. Communication is easy through WhatsApp and was continuous throughout the trip as we had questions about restaurants, wineries etc. They are so attentive to their guests without being the least intrusive. Upon arrival we were greeted according to our arrangement. For us there was a delicious homemade cake, fruit, water, it made for a wonderful greeting after a long travel experience. We had a tour of the house and property…..so very beautiful. We lacked for nothing as everything is well thought out for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with pot and pans and utensils for home cooked meals. The property is large enough (and beautiful) to allow guests plenty of space for alone time as well as communal living and eating. The sleeping arrangements work well as we had 8 adults (couples and singles). The bedrooms are well appointed and very comfortable. There is a washer and drying racks. Ample towels and linens. I travel quite a bit and of the various villas I have stayed at Villa Nel Monte has been the most beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and relaxing. You would be hard pressed to find a family as wonderful as the Lidia and her family as the owners.

A very spacious and relaxing house. The pool is just great and is cleaned regularly. There are plenty of toys for children. The house is fully equipped and is in good condition. The garden is planted green and very large. But the hostess is the highlight of the house. A wonderful helpful and warm woman who is available around the clock for questions and support.

We have a really lovely stay at this beautiful Villa. The house is very well equipped, with lovely touches. The host and her daughter Lidia went above and beyond to help us out with our requests for information etc. Highlights for us were the tour of Mount Etna with Lidia and visiting the many beaches Sicily has to offer. Great house and great location for exploring and dinners etc. Thank you for having us.

A beautiful home through and through. Well-appointed with thoughtful touches from baby bibs to outdoor table linens made our stay truly feel like home. The grounds are so well kept and elevate the ambiance. The location was ideal for day tripping to different areas around Sicily and perfect for walking into town for dinner. Our family of 8 was comfortable and enjoyed our week's stay - would return!

Villa Nel Monte is a beautiful villa set in a lovely garden against the fabulous backdrop of Mount Etna. The swimming pool was wonderful, a great size, warm and clean . The garden was stunning with lots of trees and well tended flowers. We enjoyed selecting herbs for our cooking each day .The villa was extremely well appointed , comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed the generous amounts of glasses, cutlery etc , plenty for 8 people selecting drinks etc throughout the day. The hosts were absolutely wonderful: warm, kind and with excellent communication. Nothing was too much trouble for Lidia who was on hand at all times with suggestions, comments or kind enquiries. The generous amount of food and drink which they gave to us was so enjoyed and appreciated. This included a pie, ice cream and Limocello all home made and totally delicious. We have returned home with many happy memories of a very special holiday. Thank you

Villa absolutely fantastic to stay. The owner really taking care of everything going well on holiday. Nicolosi is a lively town with plenty of restaurants where you can walk from villa. We had a car, so easy to visit Taormina, Siracusa, Etna etc. Highly recommended!

Fantastic villa with everything you could want for a relaxing holiday, clean plenty of outside space and a beautiful clean pool. Lidia was easy to get hold of and recommended a couple of tour companies for us, we used one of her recommendations, Etnalcantara, and the tour was good. Lidia's mother met us at the villa and showed us where everything was and how much to feed the cats! It really is a short walk into town for bars, restaurants and a small supermarket. Would certainly stay here again.

Definitely the best accommodation in Sicily to stay in. Super clean. Super comfy. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely hosts. Genuinely we could not fault this place. It’s better than the photos show. Lidia and her mum went above and beyond.

Villa Nel Monte is one of the best properties we have stayed in, as a family of six grown-ups. The large kitchen-diner lends itself well to family lunches and dinners. The annex allows the more sedate in a group to escape early in the evenings if they need to. Bathrooms and bedrooms have everything you need and are well designed. Seating areas outside and the private pool are excellent. The photos do not do it justice! If you are seeking a luxury Villa, fully equipped with everything you need, within view of the majestic Etna, this is the one for you. Host Lidia and her family also make sure you are comfortable and the welcome food and drinks are delicious! Also, very important, great aircon, and plenty of land surrounding the Villa to assure your privacy.

The house was clean and prepared when we arrived. Communication with the keyholder was no problem and if we had questions we got an answer in under an hour. The location of the house was great and we had a beautiful view onto Etna. All in all it was a very relaxing place to stay.

We hebben met 5 volwassenen en 4 kinderen deze villa gehuurd. Vanaf het begin af aan was het supergoed geregeld. We hadden voor aankomst via whatsapp contact met de eigenaar die ons alle leuke plekken van de omgeving heeft getipt. De villa staat net buiten het centrum van Nicolisi op loopafstand van verschillende restaurants, bakker, slager, etc. De villa is geweldig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Bedden, douches, internet, keuken is perfect en in hele goede staat. Het huis bestaat uit begane grond met douche, toilet, keuken, wasmachinehok. Op de 1e verdieping zijn 3 slaapkamers met een 2 persoonsbed, waar nog een klein kinderbed bij geschoven kan worden en een douche, toilet. Schuin onder het huis zit een prima gastenverblijf met een 2-persoonbed en 2 losse bedden, ook weer met een douche, toilet. Tijdens ons verblijf zijn we naar de Etna (noordzijde + zuidzijde), Syracuse, Taormina, Alcantara-kloof en Pantalica geweest (alles binnen 1h rijden).

The house is beautiful and well equipped. There’s a great garden and two lovely cats. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We could check in earlier and check out later, which was very nice of them. There‘s only one little negative aspect: The pool wasn‘t cleaned regularly and the water in the pool was very cold. We would recommand villa nel monte to everyone, who wants to have great time in Sicily.

I travel a lot and I am used to rent luxury properties around the world, and I can confidently say that this property was by far the cleanest, best equipped I have ever experienced. The welcome was something else, a freshly baked home made cake and several local products were left for us to enjoy... Katia and Lidia were the perfect hosts, so kind and friendly. really great villa for family

That property was perfect for our family. The pool was so relaxing after days of sightseeing. The playground on the upper terrace was enjoyed by our grandchildren. A hike to the crater in the back yard is not to be missed. A panoramic view of the area was amazing. We were greeted with food and wine that prevented us from making a trip to the store on our arrival. Several markets were in close proximity. Lydia and Tito were prompt in addressing any issues with the property. We were fortunate to experience many light shows from Mt. Etna from the upper terrace. It was truly amazing! It was a comfortable house for 7 adults and 2 children.

Das Haus mit dem tollen Pool hat der ganzen Familie sehr gut gefallen. In der näheren Umgebung kann man sehr gut einkaufen. Das Haus ist für Selbstversorger sehr gut ausgestattet. Zum Glück haben alle Zimmer eine Klimaanlage. Verschiedene Terassen erlauben zu den unterschiedlichen Tageszeiten ein Ausweichen in den Schatten. Man hat einen tollen Blick auf den Ätna. Die vor Ort Betreuung durch die Familie war sehr herzlich.

Awesome place. You even have your "own" little Volcano next to the house. The house is one of the best I have stayed in. Literally, everything you can think of is provided including some food items and homemade Limoncello to start the vacation. Love to come back!

Katia and Toti are really great hosts for such a luxury place. They took care for everything, great equipment, very good self made food such as pie cake, saisonal fruits and Jam. They were reachable at any time and they kept in the background at the same time. The house is absolutely the same as in description and pictures. It is very stylish and tasteful furnished. Very child-friendly as well as our almost 3-years-old confirmed????

Toti’s house is a beautiful place, very well furnished, and decorated with taste. Our hosts were very kind and wellcoming. We found a homemade cake and the basics supplies such as milk, water, pasta, wine, beers... you even have a playground for the kids!!! The pool is great too. we can only recommand toti’s house !! Thank you Toti !!!

Een prachtig huis dat eigenlijk volledig nieuw is. Veel speel toestellen voor kinderen en ruime slaapkamers voor de hele familie. Alles werkt prima. Het zwembad is erg mooi, alleen nog een beetje koud. Bij binnenkomst stond een heerlijke zelfgebakken pannetone voor ons klaar.

This is a beautiful house with great attention to detail! Very beautiful design details. Pleasant areas by the pool, play area, breakfast area and barbecue. Very comfortable bed, quality linen, air conditioning. The kitchen is fully organized. There is everything you need for cooking. The owner prepared us many presents and an incredible pistachio cake. VERY, VERY, VERY DELICIOUSLY!

By far the best air bnb! The accommodation is really nice and lokally The hospitality from Lidia and her mom where really good! I would book this house again without any doubt. For the next traveler. If you use Google maps please search Villa Nel Monte. The adres is not good and you can not found the house. If you search Villa Nel monte you wil find it directly. The only thing you have by careful about is the street dogs. The dogs alsow walk in the garden of the house. There is a small whole in the fence. So if you travel with kids please look out for the dogs.

Much bigger than the pictures show and great for kids-toddler bed, cot, toys, plastic cutlery etc. We would love to come back!
