Wonderful host and location in the beautiful old town

Rocco is a wonderful human being that treats his guest with taste, nice chats, and a lot of suggestions. The apartments is furnished with taste and the breakfasts are something you won’t forget. location is prime.

the property is not to suggest to those who can’t climb three fly of stairs.

Delicious breakfast, freshly prepared each morning by Rocco, who also gave us excellent recommendations as to where to visit and eat.

Wonderful appartment (we had the appartment on the top floor) with excellent host! It is calming you down the second you reach the appartment over some stairs: the extraoridinary bright sea view, the spaciousness of the rooms, the lovley furniture. It is a home as long as you are there! Above the italian liveliness and noise of the street you can sit calm and quiet on your own wonderful roof terracce with outside kitchen (if you don t want to use the inside one) and, lovley luxury, a shower outside with sea view. The B&B is in the center of the old town, 2 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the famous church, restaurants and shops everywhere within minutes, but the appartment is quiet. Perfect mix! There are stairs to go up to the appartment, but no problem at all for people with normal condition. Rocco, the host, is, as many said here before, the most kind, helpful and knowledgeable person you can imagine. He was welcoming us as if we are the most welcome people he could think of. He helped immedeatley with the luggage, he had prepared a list with his personal advice of restaurants, winebars and Sightseeing spots. He had filled the fridge with the most neccessary groceries so that we wouldn t have to shop the first day, he explained everything calm and sweet as if he wouldn t have done that many times before. He helped us with table reservations and asked regulary during our stay if we need help and if everything is ok. We felt so very well taken care of. If you love livley sicilian Cefalù you cannot find a better place.

The B&B is inside the historical centre, very close to the beach in old the town. It is extremely well maintained with beautiful design. Very nice breakfast, big big plus versus what is usual in Sicily. And biggest pro is the dear owner, Rocco, hardly I have ever met a person supporting in such a dedicated way. Thanks a lot again for everything.

Only issue is that the balcony of our room was just above a loud bar. It is open till late, but earplugs are provided for bad sleepers by Rocco. But the liveliness of the street was also good to feel (when not trying to sleep :D). If you don't go to bed before 1 AM, then nothing to worry about.

Everything was perfect ! I would say this is the only b&b I have stayed at ever where the actual place is even nicer than the photos. First of all, Rocco is the best host. He is so helpful and responsive even months before we arrived, answered all my questions. He arranged taxi to pick us up from station and swiftly changed our booking as we got delayed. He has a great system of resto recos, and most of all his property is superbly maintained. The place is charming, bright, very clean and tasteful. Rocco prepares breakfast for us in the mornings and it’s fresh, simple and yummy. we are here during the summer so it’s very hot but our room was cool and smelt great - as soon as we walked in we forgot the hectic morning we had travelling from Palermo. Location you’re in the centre of old town, 3 mins walk to the beach. We loved the property so much - we were a bit sad to leave.

Rocco, the host, was exceptionally welcoming and gave a lot of useful tips on what to see and do in Cefalù: his passion for the city and Sicily in general was tangible. The breakfast was a delight and the room and the common area were super clean, tidy and beautifully furnished. There is an attention to detail that we are yet to encounter in any other B&B visited so far: you will find everything you will ever need there for a short stay. We cannot recommend this place enough.

Unfortunately a bar directly in front of the B&B plays loud music at night until c. 12:30am but the ear plugs provided by the B&B host work wonders. It was a small inconvenience that we happily accepted in the light of the excellence of the B&B itself.

This B&B was fantastic! Great location right in the heart of the city. Bed was so comfortable and the place was very clean. Rocco is such a fantastic host, super accommodating, helpful and kind! He prepared a lovely breakfast in the mornings and was supportive with tons of local recommendations. He was available almost instantaneously via messenger if any questions or concerns arose. Would refer to any friends in town.

Rocco was the absolute best host. He was so helpful and hospitable. He came into the apartment each morning to make our breakfast which was a lovely touch. We had everything that we needed and Rocco helpfully made taxi and restaurant reservations for us. I would highly recommend this place. The location can not be beat.

Just be warned that because it is in the heart of the old city, it gets very noisy at night in the front bedroom. Rocco helpfully leaves ear plugs. The back bedroom was much quieter.

This accomodation exceeded our expectations. The location was amazing, so close to the beach. Rocco was super helpful with everything. The breakfast each morning was fantastic!! Couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely be back!!!

four flights of stairs but you do have a terrific view when you get there

It was perfect in every way! The host Rocco is exceptional, nothing is too much trouble for him, you are really made to feel his home is your home. The accommodation is immaculate, with every attention to detail.

Super attentive host with good information. He took good care of us and was always available. Nice breakfast. Comfortable room. Great location in the old town.

Everything was perfect. Homely touches, all the facilities you could need, great attention to detail and a very helpful host in Rocco who directed us to some very good local eateries and experiences.

The price of the fantastic view is the many stairs to the apartment but Rocco was there to help with bags which was very good of him.

This is a wonderful place in a wonderful location with a perfect host. So many little things to discover and great hints for sightseeing and restaurants - including making reservations for us!

The B&B is gorgeous - so well appointed and comfortable, and in a brilliant location - barely a minute from the beach, and three minutes from the cathedral. Rocco is an absolute superstar - so accommodating, so helpful, knowledgeable and generous with his time. The breakfast was a feast!

We liked everything at Azzurro B&B - communication with the owner (Rocco) was fantastic since the beginning, property was very easy to find and in a perfect location in the old town. The room, as well as the kitchen area were very nice and neat. We were allowed to use the kitchen throughout the day, although there was no need since we were eating outside. The room, as well as the entire B&B was extremely clean, which is something that is very important to us. Rocco prepared an amazing breakfast (also minding different breakfast habits guests have) and every morning we had a pleasant chat with him about our stay in Sicily. He recommended great restaurants and coffee shops and he was always available and ready to help. He even gave us an umbrella for the beach, free of charge!

There is nothing we didn't like about Azzurro B&B. We have noticed that some guests were complaining about the noise from the street and about the amount of stairs (no elevator) to reach B&B. In my opinion, this is an exaggeration and if one wants to stay in the city center, one should be ready for a little bit of noise. In fact, our room was extremely quiet, but Rocco was ready to provide earplugs in case of need. Regarding the stairs, again, if one would like to stay in a historical centre, this is absolutely normal and, in fact, a good exercise :)

Rocco was an excellent host, his B&B isn't a business but a passion. From the first contact, during and to the end of our stay he was warm accommodating and made us feel at home. He was attentive in providing information and organising days out. Always the breakfast in the morning was fun and a great way to feedback and plan activities.

Very fresh and clean room with shared living/kitchen area. Location is great, close to bars and restaurants. Fantastic host, extremely responsive to his guests 10/10! Highly recommended.

The street is very noisy at night. To combat this, the host provided ear plugs, but just be aware.

Memories made and dreams realized here. Owner-Rocco is your personal concierge. Extremely well done apt. and/or room from a perfectionist in comfort and clean. Great breakfast. Very quiet in our room. Unique experience. Nice beach nearby. Good for families and couples.

You do have to walk up stairs to third floor. - But why complain about what brings you the great memories.
