Such a cute cottage on the beach… lovely outdoor seating to admire the view. Tasteful decor which was comfortable. The house was exceptionally clean with easy access instructions.

After driving on one of the straighter roads in NZ coming from the Coromandel peninsula, and then enjoying the lovely view of the Coromandel mountains and clouds reflecting on the water, we were thrilled to see that Sea Urchin Cottage gave us this view. The cottage is delightful! It had everything we needed, and the host included some lovely little touches that seems to be missing from some places these days, such as lollies on the pillow. The cottage is perfect for a family as well as a company of 6. The outside verandah is conducive to comfortable outside eating. This is a place I could stay in for a few days as it is a home away from home. It’s in an area with lots of birds which bird enthusiasts would appreciate. host Paul and his wonder dog were very responsive and helpful in our communications.

A great location across from the water. walking distance to shop and pub/cafe made it ideal The house was very clean with everything we needed for our stay with extras - clear instructions for everything - we felt very welcomed. We enjoyed our weekend stay immensely!
