For shops nearby we have to travel 300m from facility apart from this no other downside

Very close to the beach, quiet and peaceful. The owner and family are very friendly and accommodating to our needs. They go out of their way to assist even with help planning other activities or arranging taxis

I was made welcome immediately on arrival by the beautiful family. Both the room and the bathroom were clean, spacious and well maintained. With well positioned lighting. Later I was shown the local beach which is a few strides away from the property. Hot water for tea was made constantly available. Breakfast (which is included in the price) and my evening meal was plentiful and delicious. I will be returning when possible.

I can honestly say that there is nothing I disliked about this Homestay.

We loved our stay here. The family were very helpful & charming. The room was spotlessly clean & spacious. The breakfast was very tasty. It's just a short walk to the beach which is mostly empty apart from a few fishing boats. It's a bit out of the way but only a 10 minutes auto ride to the fantastic Cassia restaurant for lunch where the food was so good we went back for dinner.

There is nothing to dislike about this homestay. The family are delightful with 3 beautiful girls who’s English is top notch. The comfortable accommodation is a 1 minute walk across road to beach, with a little snack hut for drinks and snacks. The beach has a couple of brollies with chairs and whilst we’ve been here we’ve had to ourselves. The beach has fisherman coming and going with their boats which is fun to watch. The food for breakfast and dinner is amazing, freshly home cooked and the added bonus of the host willing to get some beers in for you. We stayed here 2 nights but have ended up staying 8 in total in between houseboat stay (arranged by host) and a trip to Munnar (transport arranged by host). We love it so much we are staying here until our flight home and the host has arranged our transport back to airport. After 3 weeks travelling the north it’s a relaxing paradise finish to our month in India. We love the family and wish we could stay longer. If your hesitating booking here, don’t, book it now you will not regret it. Forgot to mention always lovely hot water for luxurious showers!!

MARARI GOD's OWN VILLA is a family run establishment that is just a few minutes walk from a fantastic and near deserted beautiful and very clean beach. You can watch local very colorful coming and going. Nija and her family run the Homestay and they look after your every wish. She provided us with breakfast and dinner that was home cooked and delicious. She also arranged a shopping trip and a boat trip for us along with transfer to/from the airport. The Homestay is quite and peaceful and the prefect place to whist exploring the local area.
