This is the second time we’ve stayed on the Swordfish canal and it won’t be the last. We love coming here- very comfortable, great views and great fishing. A home away from home. The kids loved the pool and kayaks and the beach is only a short walk away. Highly recommended.

The house is great for a family holiday. All of the rooms are spacious, and it is well equipped with everything you need. The pool was large and captures the sun all day. We used the kayaks every day on the canal. Although the bathrooms are a little dated, they were very clean and large. Palm Beach is our favourite place to stay on the Gold Coast, so we felt really lucky to find this house tucked away on such a quiet street.

The property was very clean and exactly as advertised. Good location and easy to get on the M1 and walk to the beach. very good cafes and bakeries in the area and the coffee is excellent. Good spot to be if you want to be if you like your holiday in a quiet location.

We had a lovely holiday staying at this property. The house had everything we needed and more! The kayaks were a hit with my daughter as the canal was perfect for her to learn how to paddle in one. The black swan who was very inquisitive was also a highlight for the kids. He came down the canal every day we were there to say hello! I would highly recommend this property to others and would definitely stay there again

Great location, central to all the must see attractions and shopping on the Gold Coast. Great local places for dinner with a family within a five to ten minute drive.

House and area was beautiful. The canal was so lovely to wake up to. Great activities for the kids. Everything you needed was provided. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect location. A lovely quiet street close to absolutely everything. 2 min drive to the beach and restaurants. The house is beautiful - with partitioning doors opening up to the canal. The owners supplied kayaks, canoes, paddle boards for you to use along with pool toys, bikes and a ping pong table. Can’t fault the place! We’ll definitely be back.

This was a fantastic base for our holiday that was 3 years in the making! House was exactly as described. Plenty to do if you want as well as a beautiful spot to relax or feed the fish. Will definitely be staying here again. Loren is amazing to deal with. Thanks Loren.

We had a great time I. This property, beautiful spot on the canal, quiet neighbourhood. Pool & Canal with kayaks included kept the kids (12,14 & 16) occupied. 10 - 15 minute walk to shops, short drive to Woolworths or Coles etc. highly recommend . Loren was very responsive with communications. Overall we had a great stay at this location, thanks Loren

Firstly Loren is a great host. Amazing house right on the water with nice large pool. Nothing better in sitting in the open dining/ alfresco overlooking the water on a nice warm night. Heaps of amenities and features and a great location.

This property exceeded our expectations. Our kids had so much fun between the pool and canal. We loved every minute of our stay and have recommended this home to multiple friends. Loren is a pleasure to communicate with and was very accommodating.

This property and our host exceeded our expectations. Loren was so helpful in every way which made our stay stress free and relaxing. We loved the location of the house and how central it was to everything. The house itself was clean and had a wonderful family friendly vibe. The house is designed in such a way that it easily invites the outside in and vice versa giving it a beautiful tropical feel. The beach and pontoon made it easy for the kids to enjoy the kayaks whilst the patio was perfect for relaxing with a coffee. It was a little cold to enjoy the pool but we will definitely take advantage of that in the future. So many little touches that make this house a 'home away from home'. We will definitely be returning.

What an amazing place. So much to do- swim, kayak, fish or simply sit back and enjoy the view. Open, breezy house. No mozzies. At night the lights from the houses on the canals reflect off the water- no need for TV. We’ll be back again soon.

Such a great place for families, we planned to do activities around the Gold Coast but ended up spending most of our time on the kayaks, jumping off the pontoon and swimming in the pool. Our kids loved it as much as we did. Highly recommend!
