Lovely traditional Thai house. Cute garden. Helpful owners. The mattress is indeed hard and I like that.
Plenty of mosquitoes in the garden. It feels a bit depressive inside the room in the evening.

Good food, nice location, quiet private garden.
Of the twelve different accommodations we have used in Thailand we liked this one the least. Based on the reviews we expected more. Guesthouse was in a good location near the markets. It had a lovely private garden with seating where we had dinner and a few Changs. The room was just about big enough for four people with basic amenities. The water pressure in the bathroom was low. There was no curtain around the shower and the bathroom was rather small so the whole room got wet (including the toilet bowl) when someone took a shower. The biggest problem for us was the beds which were very uncomfortable. There were no comforters on the beds and the blankets we found in the closet were only for three people. In addition, they were not linen on the blankets, so it looked like anyone was using them as needed. My wife slept all night uncovered as she did not have a blanket. There is also a large amount of mosquitoes everywhere. We didn't get much sleep and overall we were not very happy with our stay. However, the food and drink there was good, we also liked the private garden and the price was not high. We would pay extra for better quality accommodation in Trat next time though.

it was a oasis of peace. The garden is so peaceful, with hammocks, birds, and lots of green. it was truly magical.

Orchid is ondertussen een bekend adres onder de back-packers. Het heeft een goed restaurant en fijne tuin waarin een mooi houten gebouw ligt die opgedeeld is in div 'slaap & bad' kamers. Jum kookt voor je en Dirk regelt de rest. De gasten gaan vroeg op stok want volgende ochtend om 10 stopt de taxibus voor de deur vr de ferrie nr Koh Chang.
Eigenlijk niks. Heb prima geslapen. Je hoort wel wat van je medegasten, maar iedereen wil op tijd pitten ivm doorreis.

Great stop if passing through on the way to the islands. Small but functional room with hot shower, air con and a fan. Nice garden to relax in. Super friendly owners who helped immediately with our onward transport - as soon as we said where we were going we got help. And the food is fantastic - Thai food is delicious and really nice pizzas too.

This Guest house is just such a chilled and relaxed place to stay. Old style wooden rooms in a wooden house, but with all the modern mod cons. I had the balcony room. Very spacious room with a powerful fan, Aircon, fridge, kettle, coffee and a big furnished balcony. Nice and airy room with mosquito netting on the windows and the balcony door. Hot shower which is actually getting properly hot.There is a big garden with lots of tables. A small indoor restaurant and you can have your food in the garden as well. Friendly, clean and well run place. Good WiFi everywhere. If you need a rest or time to plan your travels, then this place will definitely fit the bill.

Hosts were very helpful and friendly, we enjoyed chatting with them about Thailand and the local area. Well located for a night’s stay en route for Bangkok. Very good breakfast.

Nice and beaufitul garden to take your breakfast with lots of plants. Internet working perfectly. Traditional wooden house, beautiful and comfy. Room and bathroom clean. Helping and available staff.
I guess everything was fine. Will come again if I need to stay in Trat Maybe could be Nice to be able to Turn the corridor light off during night time

Very good food, single room was clean, maybe small but perfect for one person. Having a shared Bathroom was not a problem, also hot shower if needed.
Nice common and peaceful area.
The guest house is located in a nice area, very close to shops, atm and market which I enjoyed a lot.

Friendly owners, helpful, cooked something for me even though I arrived late and also adviced me on how to get to Koh Chang the next morning, got a me a good value no hassle songthaewi.

I had a wonderful stay at a guesthouse in the village of Trat, which had charming rooms located in a lovely garden setting, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making it a truly delightful experience.

Wonderful staff. Clean rooms with a mosquitonet and a fan. And even a garden with hammocks.
Sadly too many mosquitos to sit outside in the garden.

This place is in very good location near the night market, shops and bank, if you need to change the money. The room was clean with AC. They have a garden at the back, if you want to have a meal. The hosts were super nice, they really took care of us, they help to organise the boat to the island! Thank you very much !
