Perfect for a big family, first floor bedroom and updated walk in shower perfect for the grandma of the bride. Can walk to town. Or stay in this home and used the playground.

Great stay at the outpost. Quiet neighborhood. Very spacious mountain home, huge dining area and room for everyone to have their own space. Even an upper deck to enjoy the views. Three beautifully updated bathrooms that we appreciated when everyone needed to get ready! Well stocked and welcoming. Suzan and Frank are great hosts. Thank you for sharing your home.

The house was spacious and in a very convenient location. The kitchen had many dishes. The bathrooms are updated. The area was extremely quiet.
It was a perfect place for our family to gather together for a wedding .weekend.

We had 8 teens/adults and 6 infants /young children in our group. We have stayed in many rentals all throughout Colorado and this has been our favorite yet! Lovely, comfy, and has everything you need. The playset out back and the bicycles were real hits with all the youngsters. You couldnt ask for a more helpful host. We hope to book again!!

We came here for a rafting trip and had a fantastic time. The house was great with good, sharp knives and some nice pans to go with them for our cooking needs. The best part were the bikes, especially the tandem bikes, we had an absolute blast riding into town on them. I would definitely stay here again.

Truly a home away from home. Suzan has equipped the home with everything you'll need to comfortably live, eat & play during your stay in Buena Vista.
Beautiful, quiet neighborhood with great patio & deck. Spices, cooking tools, food storage supplies, you name it - all the amenities of your kitchen at home.
Bikes were put to good use, plenty for everyone.
The house is so comfortable, plenty of room for everyone to relax together or separately.
We would absolutely stay again!

This is a beautiful property with amazing views of the mountains while nestled back in a quiet neighborhood. The close access to a walking path at the end of the street makes for an easy breathtaking viewed stroll in the cool mountain air. The property made us want to come back for more relaxation time in the Rockies. We will definitely look to rent the property again in the future.

This house has a terrific backyard with a swingset and beautiful view of the mtns. The house has plenty of room for family /friends to spread out but still be together! Downtown is only a few minutes away. Very close to the wedding venue where my son got married (the barn) as well as other fun local parks and places to explore.

We stayed here for a long weekend with family for a friend’s wedding at the surf hotel. Everything was within minutes of driving but far enough away from downtown to enjoy some peaceful Mountain Views. The house was incredibly clean and well kept, would be a perfect spot for a large family gathering. Definitely a fantastic spot for kids with the playset in the backyard and items within the house for play/story time. The only small downside was the master bedroom was rather warm during the day comparative to the rest of the rooms - we did have to keep windows open and fans on to keep it reasonable for napping baby. The home was perfectly cooler during the night and morning- the afternoon was the only time temps within the house were 76-77. We really did enjoy our stay, thank you!

The home was spacious, very well stocked with supplies, nicely decorated and had local maintenace support who checked in with us to see if needed anything. The home is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful mountain views out the back. A very large dining table accomodated everyone very easiliy and the kitchen was easy to use. You can very quickly determine the owners love this home and take great pride in making it attractive and comfortable. This is certainly the nicest vacation rental we have stayed at in a long time and very worthy of an overall five star rating.

We were in town for our son’s wedding. The house is clean and comfortable. The location is awesome and the hosts are amazing. We would stay here again. This is a great place.

This was a good great place for out family to stay for a family wedding! The house was roomy and it had everything we needed, and the main floor bedroom worked well for our 88-year-old mother. Would highly recommend anyone! Great location and a great community as well!

This house worked great for our party of six. Nice, large rooms and bathrooms. Lots of options for dining and hanging out. The sunroom was a favorite! The kitchen had everything we needed or could want. Location was quiet but close to town and walking paths. Hosts were friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay in beautiful BV!

We were in town for a wedding and this house was perfect to accommodate everyone. The first floor bedroom was perfect for my 92 year old mother. The up stairs bedroom suite with is own staircase was perfect for my daughter and her family to have some privacy. The game room was nice for my son and his wife to have a bit more privacy. The outside upper deck was so very nice to gather together in the evenings and enjoy the beautiful area. The long dining table was a hit with us, great place to sit, eat, chat and play. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't there. Wonderful house!!

We were in Buena Vista for a family wedding. The Outpost was a perfect house for our family. It had everything we needed, plus lots of fun activities in the beautiful yard. It was close to town. Frank and Suzan were perfect hosts and communicated with us throughout our stay! We will definitely stay here again!

loved Outpost. it was great for multigenerational groups. plenty of hang out places. huge dining table for a crowd. bathrooms all recently renovated-gorgeous. great mountain view’s, outdoor deck, covered patio and screened in porch. a huge selection of bikes to use. just a few nlocks to walk to grocery, drug store, restaurants, etc. 5 stars plus.

The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for a large family gathering. We struggled with the temperature in the house, as it has no air conditioning. Apparently, that is common in the region, but it was a shock for us. The back yard was great for the kids, but bring a bug zapper or some candles, because the mosquitoes were thick. The views were incredible, including the early morning wildlife.

Everyone in our family loved staying in this spacious "Outpost" for my race weekend. There was plenty of room/beds/refrigerator space for 8 people, and probably enough for 14 or 15 if we had that many people. Great place for our kids -- grassy backyard with playground, big table and living areas for us to eat and hang out.
Clean as well. Hosts were accommodating and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back.

This was my second summer visit to the Outpost in Buena Vista. I came with my son and daughter-in-law, 2 grand kids and my daughter-in-law's parents. We love the walkability and convienience of being so close to restaurants and market. The kids love the play eqipment in the back yard. Having 3 bathrooms is wonderful! There is too much to do in Colorado to waste time waiting on your turn for a bathroom to get ready in! The propert mgr lives next door and is super quick to respond if you need a new bottle of propane for the grill or fire table, etc. We had a wonderful stay at the Outback and I am sure we will be back for a 3rd stay in the future!

The Outpost exceeded our family's expectation - every amenity was as advertised and provided a lot of comfortable space to relax after our daughter's welcome party at the Eddyline Brewery and wedding at the Barn at Sunset Ranch! Favorite amenities were the large dining room table accommodating a comfortable sit down dinner and the outdoor upper deck patio was a delight to enjoy the nearby brook, sun in the cooler June weather and views of the Collegiate Peaks was spectacular! Susan and Frank were great hosts and have a home well worth sharing in beautiful Buena Vista!

Everyone enjoyed their stay. Great family house. The bikes, playground equipment, bags, tetherball gave the kids something to do. The second story patio was great. Bathrooms were very nice. Would recommend this if you have a large gathering.

The family had a great time spending Christmas together. Our Florida granddaughter enjoy seeing snow for the first time. There was enough snow to play in on the front lawn and a large play area in the back yard that was clear for other play. The grandkids especially enjoyed the loft area to play video games and sleep. There was plenty room for the adults to spread out and enjoy each other’s company. We would definitely recommend the Outpost to families looking for a great home in this area.

We rented this house for us and our family who were in town for our wedding. The house was exactly as described and Suzan and James were very communicative. The house was clean and stocked, and the backyard was perfect for adults and kids. The fire pit and swing set were a hit. We will definitely stay here again if our travels take us to Buena Vista.
