The location is very good for exploring this area, we went to the Runden bird sanctuary with a large puffin colony. It is a 5 minute walk to the ferry to Folkestad, which is free for footpassengers. We hiked to Galten and took some awesome pictures there. The ferry to the Geirangerfjord from Helsylt is about an hours drive. The hostess and her husband were very pkind and welcoming. The room has a separate entrance, with its own toilet and sink. It is located next to the kitchen. We could use their kitchen (inclusing some spices a forgot to buy) and bathroom. This bathroom (shower) was on the second floor in their house, but we knew that up front.

The owner and her mom are wonderful hosts, thank you so much Mrs Elsa for all the discussions we had, you are such a lovely lady, I admire your personality so much! The house is sooo beautiful with so many interesting details, you can tell it was created with love and care. The room was great, very comfortable and cozy with access to fully equipped kitchen. The outdoors area, OMG!!! I absolutely loved the terrace, can't believe it was real and you allow guest to use it. And it's all in the center of Volda, close to bus stop and ferry. You made me feel like home and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I'll definitely come back. TUSEN TAKK! ❤️

I can't find even a single thing I wouldn't like, this place is absolutely amazing!

We unfortunately booked on the wrong dates and couldn’t cancel. So Lisbeth offered and organized us another nice room in the house. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and a really good stay! We felt like home! And we will come again! Absolutely recommendable!

For that price - nothing!

Excellent location, especially for traveling around the fjords and towards Ålesund. The room was very spacious, well heated and had ample facilities (including a fridge). Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A very friendly and welcoming home and family!
