The house was absolutely beautiful, well maintained and the pool was stunning! The location was perfect, quiet neighborhood and close to all the beaches, restaurants and shopping stores. I am definitely looking forward to coming back next year!

Our week was amazing! The kids truly enjoyed the pool! All of the beaches are in very close proximity. Very easy to get around town. Such nice people in the area! The house was wonderful. Everything you need for a great stay! Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your place!

This was a perfect house to stay at with our kids ages 4 & 8. They swam in the pool every chance they could when we weren’t at the beaches. The neighborhood is safe and we even used the bikes provided by the owners. Very nice getaway from Chicago for spring break! Hope to book again next year or sooner!!

We had a fantastic stay! South Venice, where there are a lot of new homes being built, Villa The Place is one of the nicest and newer homes. The owners and management company are very receptive and have done a great job building and decorating their lovely home. The large pool is wonderful. There is even a 12 X 8 foot section that is only 6 inches deep which is great for children or just dipping your feet. The location is close to shopping, theaters, restaurants, beaches and other nearby activities. We enjoyed the owner provided bikes to ride two miles to Manasota Beach. The location on Heron Road is so great. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large patio with a large dining table, many chairs and umbrellas, etc., extra large pool, outdoor grill, three large screen TV's, there will not be a better place to stay in the Venice/Sarasota area. We are already hoping to return next year after our two months here.

Had a wonderful time. All the conveniences of home. Beautiful property, clean, organized, lovely swimming pool. Close to the beach. Will certainly book again.

We made our reservation at the last minute, to attend a family event. Karin's home was modern and clean, included all necessary conveniences, and (most importantly to us) centrally located in southwest FL so that we could easily visit family members from St. Pete to Ft. Myers. We would definitely consider staying here again during an actual vacation, as the property is also near great beaches, good fishing, and downtown Venice.

Trouble getting in, had to stay in a motel because the hostess wouldn’t answer our messages.

We throughly enjoyed this beautiful home. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was very clean and it came with everything we could possibly need. Karin was extremely accommodating and kind during our entire stay. I would highly recommend renting this property.

This was our first time using VRBO and we were nervous about the process but Karin made it so easy! She gave us all the information we needed, plus some! The house was fantastic and functional and clean! We will be back!!

It was very disappointing as we couldn’t use the pool because it was so thick with algae and bugs. The whole purpose of renting that house was because of the pool otherwise I could’ve rented for a whole lot less. By the time I left you could’ve used the pool from the 15th-17th as I left on the 18th, and that was questionable as it was still green. My friend even went home and I was embarrassed about this. We booked this property for our stay in Venice while visiting family and it was great! A beautiful pool, modern home and appliances, and good location near beaches and restaurants! We loved to relax by the private pool! Communication with owners was fast and easy!

We enjoyed our trip in Florida and this rental. Great location, house was very clean . Check in was very easy. Homeowners responded quickly to questions.

Our group of 5 adults ranging from 22-68 visited for 5 nights. We found the garage full of shelling gear, bicycles, coolers, beach bags, and umbrellas. All great stuff and in good for the beach. Inside had all things necessary from hand soap and detergent to towels, paper towels, and plates/pots/pans. The home is beautiful, peaceful and the pool is larger than it appears in the phots. Rooms were large, airy and clean. We loved it and highly recommend.

The vacation rental was perfect! It had more than enough room and amenities. We didn’t want to leave. We felt very comfortable here. The location cannot really be beat. I highly recommend this property. Thanks for a much needed getaway!

Overall our family had a wonderful time at this property. The pool was perfect for our children, we loved how open and modern the home is. The first night we were there, we notified the property manager that a ceiling fan was stuck on, and none of the remotes worked to turn it off. During our stay we never got any batteries to replace that, so the fan in a bedroom was left on all the time. Also, we paid to have the pool heated and it wasn't heated while there. Actually the hose was in the pool when we arrived, adding cold water to the pool. My parents and my youngest son found the pool a little cool for them, which was disappointing especially since we paid to heat the pool for $10 a day and it wasn't heated. Overall, we did love the house.

Stop browsing and book! We had so much fun staying in Venice. We rode the bikes to Manasota Key, which is beautiful. The home was extremely clean. Karin was the best to work with!

The home was very clean and well stocked. The layout was perfect for two couples as the bedrooms were separated and private. The pool was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

This house was beautiful and had everything one could want. I especially appreciated how thoughtfully designed it was for cleanliness. There were lots of high end surfaces that are easily cleaned, which was important to me. Karin was so nice and responded to any inquiries I made. The property manager was also very nice. It was absolutely lovely to sit on the lanai and enjoy the weather. The pool was a very comfortable temperature. The bed was comfortable, the closets were large, and the water was filtered. Really, everything about this place was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to book it again.

My Dad and I loved the house. It’s in a great location. The house was very clean and well kept. I highly recommend staying at this house I know we will when we are back in the area.

Our only complaint is we paid $70 ($10 p/day) for a heated pool to be at 86. That we could not use because it would not get any warmer than 70. We would definitely recommend this home!

Not only was the property above and beyond what we had expected, we were so impressed by the design that it inspired us as home builders. What a fantastic layout! I feel truly grateful that we were able to be guests in their home. We felt welcomed and the communication was first class! The owner was so attentive and gracious. This home had everything we needed and wanted, it was close to amenities and Venice Pier. The home is stocked with everything even toys like bikes, coolers, floaties, poles, basically everything you could want, even the little contraptions that one uses to hunt for shark teeth. I saw people using them on the beach on day one, wondering where we could find one, and then low and behold there they were in the garage! Genius! The house is so lovely, with all of the comforts of home. It even has that "new home" smell! So clean and flawless. If I had to find one negative, it's that I was skeptical about the beds and if they would be comfortable but I was pleasantly surprised! Slept like a baby! So not even that is negative. It was an 11 out of 10. We will most definitely be returning very soon.
