We loved the seclusion & amenities at Villa St Barth!!! The house is beautifully maintained and Antonio was amazing to work with, so friendly & helpful. The only negative with the seclusion is a drive is required to go anywhere & the driveway to the property is easy to miss. We woke up to enjoy the sunrise & listen to the monkeys every morning & got lucky one morning when they visited our trees. The pool overlooking the cliff is beautiful & so relaxing.

This is the most beautiful property I have ever had the luxury of staying. Very clean. Antonio is the most amazing individual and goes out of his way to make sure your stay is absolutely perfect. The pool is stunningly beautiful as well. I will definitely recommend this property to everybody I know!

Antonio and Carmen were gracious and responsive hosts during our two-week stay. Antonio was more than timely in responding to any questions we had about dining out, chefs coming in, and places to shop for various foods. Carmen’s efforts at keeping the villa (and clothes - she does the washing) clean were remarkable. Beautiful views abound. The nighttime stars are breathtaking. The pool is beautiful and relaxing. Antoino and Carmen see to maintenance matters quickly and resolutely. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return.

The villa, pool and gardens were awesome! We could not have asked for better hosts. The platter of fresh fruit was greatly appreciated after a long flight and the freshly baked baguette was delicious. Villa St Barth is everything you could want and more! Antonio and Carmen are fabulous hosts. A warm welcome and excellent instructions to local attractions. Antonio has great recommendations….his driver, Alvaro took us wherever we needed to go. The cost was similar to renting a car but with no headaches. Swiss trained, chef Nicola and his wife Elsy cooked two delicious dinners for our group of 6. All with local fresh, homegrown ingredients and a beautiful presentation. The house and grounds are gorgeous and perfectly maintained. Carmen keeps the inside spotless and came in several times to do our laundry and cleanup. The patio and pool with 6 comfortable lounges were our favorite place to late night star gaze after our day exploring. I would highly recommend this home. It will not disappoint. I’m already dreaming of our next visit. Thank you Carmen and Antonio for everything!

This house is large enough for a crowd, but it was only just the two of us and we loved the open space. The pool is amazing, the outdoor space is huge, the gardens are beautiful. Antonio and Carmen were the perfect hosts, fruit bowl was perfect after a long flight and fresh croissants brought in a few days later. They helped us with recommendations for beaches, restaurants and checked in on us every other day. Antonio even guided us to the house when we were lost! Tamarindo is a bustling town so coming back to the quiet of the pool was perfect. The monkey family in the trees was very entertaining. Best to have 4WD in this area to explore out of the way places. A little slice of heaven.

The house owner was very helpful the driver who talked turned it on to was very helpful excellent experience with the driver and the home owner only thing the location was a little skeptical looking but it was safe

Property is gorgeous, pool is well kept and interior is clean. Property is up a very steep hill that enables you to have a lot of privacy. One driver was not able to go up the steep hill, but everyone else had 4x4 so, not a problem at all. Antonio is very responsive and has a lot of good recommendations for restaurants that are close to the property. Carmen is very sweet and cleans the Villa and does your laundry. Pictures are accurate and clearly showcase this amazing property. Be sure to download “WhatsApp” to book reservations at restaurants, parks, text Antonio and a driver (if needed). Restaurants we went to while at the Villa that have really good food and a nice ambience. 1. Las Pangas beach resort, they require reservations. Food is served in an intimate setting off of the beach. We did a lobster and steak dinner. It was served with a heated volcanic rock and you cooked the steak at your table. 2. Patagonia’s Argentinian, this restaurant is extremely busy, be sure to book reservations in advance. Driver: We used Juan Carlos that is recommended by Antonio. Juan Carlos is fun, stops to get drinks, takes you to an Iguana Park and is very responsive and will take you out for the entire day or night. I would recommend Juan Carlos instead of renting a car, it is approximately the same cost and way more convenient. Private Chefs: We had two amazing chefs come to cook dinner for three nights. Nicholas and Maria. Both are amazing. Zip Lining: Diamonte Adventure Park, they have one of the top ten longest zip lines in the world. Superman is 1.5 miles long. They are extremely safe and take safety as a top priority. They have some rescued animals in the park that include sloths, jaguars, toucans and a butterflies to name a few. Spa: Los Altos de Ero (LADE), the spa is 18 + and requires reservations. My daughter and I did the 1/2 day package: Indonesia bath, seaweed wrap, masssge and lunch. The spa overlooks the rainforest and is approximately 10 mins away from the Villa. Waterfalls: We did an adventure excursion at La Leona waterfalls. Extremely fun and gorgeous waterfalls that you can swim in Food Deliver: Similarly to Urban Eats or food delivery service. I believe the name is “BKE.” They will pick up food from local restaurants and anything you need from the store. They drive it to the villa for a small service fee. Grocery Store: We stopped at the large grocery store “Automercada.” A+++

We had a wonderful stay at Villa St. Barth. My husband, 19 year old daughter, 17 year old son and I stayed there in June for 7 nights. The house was beautiful and kept so clean. Antonio was wonderful in answering all the questions we had before the trip and also while we were there. Carmen cam every couple days and cleaned and did our laundry. We spent so much time by the gorgeous pool. Would highly recommend this beautiful home.

This house is amazing!! My wife and I, along with our 2 kids(5 and 3 yrs old), and her parents stayed at this property for 4 nights. We absolutely enjoyed the pool and the wonderful garden area. There were several lizards, frogs, and wildlife throughout the property keeping the children thoroughly entertained. The house is super modernized and is well equipped for cooking. Super open layout with windows everywhere. You can see straight thru the house from one end to the other. I highly recommend the services of Alvaro. Instead of renting a car for our trip, we hired Alvaro to be our tour guide along with our transportation to and from the airport. He is extremely knowledgeable of the area and helped us make decisions on the best beaches and excursions to do during our stay. Some of the drives were lengthy, but he didn’t hesitate to fill us in on the history of Costa Rica and the heritage of the people. He is also very informative of all the various trees and animals throughout the land. After an all day excursion, we were exhausted and did not feel like stopping for the groceries needed for dinner that evening. Alvaro overheard what we were wanting, and without our request, he delivered the groceries a couple of hours after dropping us at the house. He is absolutely outstanding and I would not come back to this area of Costa Rica without having him as a driver. His services are comparable to what it would cost to rent a car anyway, so I assure you it’s well worth it. We will definitely be back in the near future.

Man o Man absolute paradise. St Barth Villa was pictured perfect as advertised. From the comfort of the bedrooms, roominess of the bathrooms, the spaciousness of the kitchen. And the lavishness of the infinity pool and the landscaping of the property was so tranquil. If you want to wake up to the sounds of bird chirping and seeing wild life like chinchillas swinging from trees this is the place. Our host Antonio is very informative of whatever you want to do and the housekeeper Carmen is the best. Costa Rica has a lot to offer but after exploring all day, ain’t nothing like returning to a place that reminds you of Home. For six days Villa St Barth was “Home” for me, my wife, and my niece and nephew. Thanks again

Fly into Liberia not San Jose. If there is something you want to do in the Liberia area stay there for a few days then come to the Villa. Roads are pretty rough and driving is pretty chaotic. The Villa is gorgeous and regular housekeeping, even does your laundry. Groundskeepers and pool maintenance ensures the place is beautiful throughout your stay. Antonio was available and provided great communication throughout. It was our first time in Costa Rica, so Antonio recommended Alvaro pick us up from the airport. Alvaro was an AMAZING driver/tour guide. Our plan was to rent a car, but we just used Alvaro instead. The Villa is about 10 minutes out of town and probably 15 minutes from the beach so you will need to rent a car or have a driver. If you just want some peace and quiet you can always relax at the Villa. We had Monkeys in the trees several times. They are not tame or scary they just move through the trees eating leaves. Grandma loved staying at the house a couple of days when we went on more adventurous tours. Place is as advertised.

Just returned from two weeks at this villa: from the time we committed to the rental until the check out last week, Antonio's involvement could not be have been any better. Having rented villas around the world for the last 30 odd years, this has to be the best presented and equipped property of them all. Antonio arranged all that we asked, chefs, airport pick ups, covid tests, restaurant reservations, beaches, supermarkets, etc. Antonio and Carmen are the perfect hosts, anyone staying there will have a truly wonderful experience. House/pool/garden were immaculate with gorgeous view. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. 5star experience.

This villa was exactly as pictured. Beautifully tended landscaping, private drive, wonderful infinity pool. The three bedrooms were spacious, each having their own bathroom. Additional bathroom on main floor with great kitchen. Just off of a major highway, but you’d never know it. You can’t even see it from the road. Antonio & Carmen were so helpful with recommendations, both before & during our trip. Housekeeper, pool maintenance & landscaper came regularly. Gorgeous views. Tamarindo, lots of great beaches very close driving distance.

We loved this house. 2 adults and 4 teenage boys and we had plenty of space. It was great that each bedroom had a private bath. The garden by the pool was amazing and we enjoyed seeing/listening to the birds all day. The pool and outdoor space were definitely the highlights. Carmen kept the house very clean and Antonio was always available to ensure we had a great stay. Location was great with a short drive to many beaches and just 15 minutes from beautiful Tamarindo. We will absolutely be back!

Oh my where do I begin, for all the years I've been using VRBO I've never had a host as good as Antonio. Antonio provided great communication from the beginning to the end and his recommendations for dinner, tours and activities were perfect. We had Chef Jean-Luc Taulere with Catering Costa come to our house to prepare a meal and the experience was phenomenal. The food was just amazing, I've eaten at some of the most renowned restaurants in America and this was equal or better in all aspects. This should be on everyone's bucket list for Tamarindo Costa Rica, trust me you will remember the experience for a lifetime. The house was spectacular, we had five in our party and it was roomy as well as relaxing. Carmen who took care of the laundry and house cleaning was a vacation angel. The pool and outdoor living were incredible, bedrooms extremely comfortable, well appointed bathrooms in all three bedrooms. There was simply nothing we could have asked for that wasn't already provided. My only regret was that I didn't have another week to spend in this house. The surrounding area has everything any size group could want; the beaches are perfect, surfing is good and the area has some of the best restaurants in the country. This is the easiest five star rating I've ever completed. Thanks again Antonio for sharing your world with us!!!!

The pictures are truly what you see, except it is even better inside! It is atop a hill for total privacy. You are surrounded by nature and the modern amenities of the home. 3000 sq ft of plush living quarters. Modern motif and Antonio and Carmen were great owners. We went to every restaurant and beach they recommended (fine dining for most). You won't know where to go unless you ask a local...... We used the home as a hub to go to various places. You will not be disappointed in the home. We even had a chef come and cook for us! Antonio recommended the chef and it was our best meal in CR. Highly recommended for the home and owners. Can't say enough.....

My family including parents and aunt over 80 years old, husband and son stayed for one week in this beautiful home nestled up on a hill with beautiful views of the mountains with flowers , trees and nature. It was the perfect home for us. We used the infinity pool all the time. We cooked our own meals specially breakfast in the very luxurious kitchen. The home was very modern, the beds comfortable, appliances work very well. The ambiance of the open home with big glass windows was gave me so much warmth and brightness. We all felt so at home specially with the housekeeper Carmen who came and made sure the house was immaculately clean. She even brought us some fresh limon right off her tree. We had a barbecue one evening inviting another couple friends of ours from the U.S. and Antonio and Carmen came to make us some cocktail made of champagne and fresh squeezed limon. They made sure we had what we needed and made us even more at home. The experience we had was priceless. Thanks Antonio and Carmen for making us feel safe and part of your family.

My family and I were looking for a property that provided us with privacy yet we close enough to town for us to go and have dinner if we chose. This house was great! Antonio and Carmen were perfect. They helped us with everything we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This property was awesome! One of the best I have stayed in. The owner was extremely nice and helpful as well as helped to set up excursions for us. We also hired a personal chef from “bellyfed better” by the name of Frank. ABSOLUTE BEST FOOD!!!!!! I would recommend this property to anyone and I will also be staying here again on my next trip to tamarindo.

Oliver, the owner, greeted us and showed us around the property upon our arrival. The villa is even more beautiful than the photos on VRBO. The grounds are exquisitely manicured and we enjoyed the very refreshing pool and grill every day. Andreea, the house keeper, is simply amazing! She kept everything immaculately clean and even did our laundry!! Again, we highly recommend this property to anyone who desires to stay in the area.

The house is located just 10 minutes away from touristy Tamarindo and 20 minutes from great beaches, yet it feels very secluded and close to nature. The pool is outstanding, larger in size than in many hotels and in an excellent shape. The house design is very modern and really enjoyable. Property is very well kept, all is upper top class. Must mention that the cleaning girl is THE best cleaning person we have ever seen, she is out of this world meticulous and, yet, unimaginably quiet.

We had such an amazing time! Oliver was great to work with, very responsive and accommodating. Bianca and Andrea were angels and took care of everything at the house that we needed. We wanted to take them home with us :) The house was immaculate! Monkeys were in the trees outside, which our daughter loved. We didn't want to leave. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay!

Where do I even begin? Olivier has a beautiful home on his hands and Andrea does an awesome job in keeping it in pristine condition. The environment of the home was surreal! Waking up in the beauty of the rainforest added a special touch to my birthday trip! We had a yoga instructor and chef visit us, the home was easy to find and located VERY close to the beaches and shops/restaurants/bars! I will definitely stay here again when and if the opportunity presented itself! Thank you so much Olivier! You are amazing!!

Believe every review you read about this home! Our family (6 adults) had an amazing week here. The main floor rooms are fairly equal in size. The upstairs bedroom is bigger and has a private balcony and a larger bathroom. The home is VERY secure and private. The grounds are pristine, there's a mountain view from the backyard that offers amazing sunsets. The pool is fantastic! I'm 5'3 and walked on tip toes the entire length, so non-swimmers should be ok (except children). Andrea... Wow. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. Every day we returned home to fresh towels and sheets, sparkling floors and very organized personal effects. She is meticulous and sweet as pie. The drive to Tamarindo is about 10-15 min. We shopped at Auto Mercado and once at Super Mercado, which is a local store (not catering to tourists) but has many familiar items. Prices at Super Mercado were better. Olivier is a wonderful, cheerful property manager. He won't chastise you for triggering the house alarm every day like we did. He's fantastic with communication and quick to help solve any issue (we had none, but he was definitely available if we had). He welcomed us like family! You absolutely will not regret booking this home. Oh, if you sit at the pool at sunrise, the howler monkey's will serenade you. I can't wait to return.

My husband and I took our daughter and family (2 children age 2 and 4) and spent a week in this lovely home. We felt so welcomed when we arrived. Olivier showed us around , explaining the ins and outs of the house. The kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed and the house was perfect. Comfortable beds, cool AC, great bathrooms! We met Andrea, the housecleaner, who is lovely and a gem. She slips in quietly everyday and made the house look like we had just arrived! This was so appreciated. The pool was heaven. The area by the stairs was perfect for our little ones and we were able to swim laps in the longer area. It was a welcomed treat after a day of exploring beaches and towns. We had many dinners outside as the sun was setting and often had a dip in the pool before bed. We all highly recommend this house. Olivier is quick to respond to any questions and was very helpful. Wow, where do I even start? This property is beautiful and Olivier was a pleasure to work with. We emailed many times before actually arriving and he was nothing but accommodating. He sent several links for different tours around the area, one for a private chef (OUTSTANDING) and was even able to go grocery shopping for us before we arrived so we had food in the house. There was an insect nest by the pool and Olivier had it taken care of by the next morning. He was there to greet us even though we had almost a 2 hour delay and didn't arrive until about 11pm. The driveway is steep so I definitely recommend a 4WD vehicle. The town of Tamarindo is a short 10 minute drive away. Beautiful beach, great surf, a local brewery and cute shops. The grocery store is before Tamarindo and has a lot of great choices. The house is just as beautiful as the pictures. There are pool rafts, drink holders and towels provided. The A/C works great, which was a very important feature for us since it was so warm during this time. Everything is just so clean and modern. The patio outside is such a plus and perfect for dining. We also had a local yoga teacher come one morning and it was the perfect spot once we moved the table and chairs. There are iguanas and birds all around which made for beautiful sights and sounds all day. Andrea, our housekeeper, was a dream. She washed clothes and cleaned the house daily for us. She is so friendly and such a hard worker. We are already planning our next trip back and will definitely rent this house again. Thank you for making my 40th birthday trip so very special :)
