We checked in to arrive with half the power working. Couldn’t get the gas fire place working or the TV but some evap cooking/heating working and lights. Had to call owner then get called back to be told to take out all appliance cord from each PowerPoint and restart which I’m guessing isn’t a safe practice for us to do. Anyway power started working but Foxtel asked for log in and couldn’t get log in from owners as they said where to find but wasn’t there. TV hard to use. Beautiful view outside but all outdoor furniture covered in animal poo which you could tell hadn’t been cleaned. I don’t know why we paid a cleaning fee as cobwebs around the house, oven so dirty had to put foil down to put things in, windows do dirty took away from view. Was a real shame as great location. Looks like I can’t attach photos but I would have as I took photos of the oven, windows etc

Absolutely enjoyed our stay in Portarlington, would recommend and 100% be back again. The house is clean, has a great view and is fully equipped with all your daily needs. So risky sometimes as you’re not sure if the house will have basics but this house has it all- shampoo, conditioner, salt, pepper, oil, bbq tools, paper towel, etc etc!! This house has so much you don’t have to worry about bringing a thing! Even a handy speaker + games to keep you busy at night. Great for a weekend away with friends or with the whole family. Definitely recommend. Thanks so much for a great couple of days.

The small thing that caused a bit of an issue was there seemed to be done kind of pet fur on the bedding in the queen room which gave my school n hay fever so he had to change bedrooms.

Would’ve been perfect if the property had been cleaned properly. Dirty, dusty full of spiders cobwebs, dead bugs. Bed linen was not clean. Luckily found a can of spray & emptied the whole can. House needed a good high low clean. Bathroom drawers dirty full of empty soap containers & tumbleweeds of hair.Disappointing. If you are going to rent it out pay some attention to basic cleaning standards & presentation please

A great spot to spend a weekend with a family. Unfortunately our commitments over the weekend did not allow us to take full advantage of the house or it’s location.

Perfect house in a perfect place. Everything you could need is at the house and beautiful views outside, makes for a great stay. Close to town and all amenities. Will definitely be back.

The house itself is great. Location great a few instructing details on the fire operation would have helped. Plus more hand towels. But really was a great stay.

Firstly, we could not access the property. The owner had left no access instructions and was unreachable. It took us 3hrs to get access to property. Once inside we were subject to: -Filthy floors full of dust and dirt -Towels provided had bleach stains all over them -No hand towels for bathroom -No tea towels for kitchen -Bandaid found in the bed - it looked like the sheets hadn’t been changed -The pillows had brown stains -Two blinds were broken -BBQ couldn’t be used as it was filthy -Garden was not maintained -Ran out of hot water It was such a shame as the view was amazing but the state of the house was disgusting.

Brilliant location for resting and relaxing, it was quiet and peaceful. Great walking track along beach. Beautiful sunsets.

Awesome property. Fantastic location. Sarah was so good in her communication. The views are gorgeous and everything there you could need. If you are travelling with older adults be aware there is no handrail for part of the stairs (bedrooms are upstairs). A bit tricky for wobbly legs.

We stayed for the weekend at the beginning of March and had a mix of weather, not that is mattered with such a great house to explore Portarlington from. The house backs right into the water and there is an unobstructed view of the sunset. Communication and check in process was very good and overall we enjoyed our stay.

There is a wow moment when you walk through the door and realise how close to the beach you really are. While the beach is not a swimming one, there is a great swimming spot two minutes drive away. The house is spotless, with comfortable beds and ample places to relax. A great highlight is the outdoor dining area. We absolutely loved it.

Our favourite holiday house! The location is incredible and the views are 10/10. The house has everything you could need!

This is a spacious, well equipped house with a great back deck that looks out on to the bay. The beach is only a minute's walk! Great for families or friend groups.

Our stay was perfect. Sarah has thought of everything that is required. Peaceful and amazing views. We loved our stay.
