The cottage was perfect for my co-worker and I during a week long work trip to St. Croix. The team managing the property was so amazing--hospitable, generous, and communicative. My colleague needed a secluded and secure feeling space, while I needed a chill place to have a morning cup of coffee and a base camp for our daily work all around the island. The Landings--cottage, landscape, and team served every need. We had fabulous recommendations from Carl and Sandy on places to eat, beaches to visit, and the house felt close to everything despite being tucked away on a hilltop. The internet was great for work on site, linens and everything beach related was provided! We will surely be back the next time we're working in VI!

We’ve rented this property multiple times over an 8 year span. The view is spectacular, the house immaculate and the location about perfect. Communications with the new(ish) owner was excellent. We keep coming back because the alternatives would almost certainly be a disappointment. Why try and improve on perfect?

We stayed here for our 15th anniversary and it was everything we were hoping it would be. Carl (owner) and Sandy (property manager) made this a great experience! Sandy met us at the airport and was so patient as we waited over an hour for our luggage and rental car. Then we followed her to the grocery store where she waited for us to get groceries. Once we arrived at the rental she showed us all we needed to know. They even had a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate our anniversary. Carl reached out to us the next morning to make sure everything was just the way we needed it. The rental had everything we needed. They had beach chairs and snorkeling gear that we used often. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. The view from the pool area was unbelievable! The house does have homes on both sides but separated by trees and it felt very private. There were many restaurants and beaches very close by. Carl has a rental guide at the house with great recommendations. Our favorite spot was Cane Bay. Great snorkeling, wonderful views and good food. Another favorite of ours was the boardwalk in Christiansted. Many good restaurants and shops. This was a great vacation for us and highly recommend St. Croix and this rental property!

My partner and I stayed here for about a week. It was amazing. Lots to do, just a short drive and back to this beautiful property to enjoy the pool in the afternoons and evenings.

What a great place to stay! Awesome view, very clean and comfortable, and relaxing pool. The house is well stocked and well cared for. Sandy, the property manager, was very kind and we were welcomed with some nice snacks and drinks. It appears that previous guests leave behind various sunscreens and non - perishable food ideas (cooking oils, spices, coffee, etc) which is great. Everything was in good working order. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay here. We’ve stayed at several different VRBO properties and this one (as well as Sandy and Carl) was one of the best. Highly recommend!

The property offered all the comforts of home! The thoughtful gifts (snacks and bottles of Melee cocktails) from our host were much appreciated and enjoyed! Sandra, the property manager, met us at the airport and escorted us to the property, she is awesome! We had a couple of very minor requests that were taken care of ASAP. Communication and responsiveness is on point. The home had everything that we needed and more! We would love to come back! Thank you!!!

What a great place to stay in St Croix! Every TV ing is as described and more! Owners have thought of everything- no lacking of amenities. Great for 2 couples or small family. More than enough space. Owners and Sandy the property manager very accommodating and very helpful. Will definitely stay again!

Snorkeling all week, 15 minutes to Cane Bay and the Wall, great local open air bars and BBQ less than a mile away. Jack and Issac’s was magical. Nights sitting out on the deck - awesome. Love this place. Sandy was super helpful. Entire island is very friendly and low key. They thought of everything. USB charger ports on plugs by the nightstand. Even a few charging cables if you forgot. Washer/dryer, coffee machine, great kitchen, dining and sitting area, small pool, quiet, two master bedrooms with separate decks. Can’t wait to return 🤩

This property is the best 'home away from home' we have experienced in our global travels. We have stayed in dozens of VRBO properties around the world and this house tops them all. From the view, to the 'little things' in the kitchen, to even small laundry baskets on wheels, Carl and Sandy have thought of everything to make your stay stress free. Sandy was great to meet at the airport and was very helpful navigating our frustration of the airline losing our luggage for a day (on a direct flight). We had a small incident the first night with one of the AC units not having freon and it was taken care of the next day, even during the week of Christmas! I could go on and on about all the little things that were great, from the beach chairs, cooler, toiletries, etc. but the biggest reason to rent this property is the people. Sandy and Carl went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even going as far as offering to extend our stay in case our flight was cancelled (as so many have been during the holidays). St Croix is a lovely island with wonderful people and Sandy and Carl are shining examples of this hospitality.

Our host Sandy was awesome!!! She meet us at The Market after we finished our initial food/drink shopping then escorts us to the property. Island roads are not well marked or maintained making it a little difficult to navigate so it was really helpful to have a guide for the first trip home; also it is DARK at night so make note of landmarks (we knew to turn at the stone wall off the main road). After making the drive once, we felt confident in finding the place on our own. The driveway is steep but has a nice turnaround at the top. It was no issue thanks to our jeep. Sandy gave a brief tour of the place, answered any questions, made some recommendation and even stocked our fridge with a nice variety of drinks (including some local favs)...and left us a tasty treat basket. Extremely thoughtful! She was a joy to speak with. As soon as we walked in, this property felt like home. And then, THAT VIEW! Very clean, comfortable furniture, really soft/plush linens, a nice stock of appliances/dishes, the coffee maker has a metal filter and uses standard ground coffee (did a great job!). Every appliance or kitchen tool we needed, was there and in good shape. The sunscreen bar (formerly a wine/cocktail bar) was a fantastic idea and offered some alternatives to be reef safe or get you started with SPF. We left behind all the sunscreen we brought knowing that everything is much more expensive on the island (importing is costly). The pool doesn't have a handrail to step in and the pool tile is extremely slick so be careful getting in and out of the pool. We'd sit at the steps and scoot in. Loved the color, the size was perfect and overlooking the ocean was stunning. The layout was perfect for 2 couples (a king suite on each end of the house, each with its own bathroom). It was very well stocked with laundry, cleaning, basic cooking supplies, pillows, pool towels, etc. They had some beach equipment to borrow but you can rent chair/umbrella at Rainbow and save yourself the hassle. The AC worked super (not a common experience on the island). We mostly used the room AC at night with the bedroom doors closed...allowing the main living space to remain open and unconditioned. Just be respectful and turn it off when youre not there during the day because energy costs are extremely expensive on the island. Checkout was awesome-- do nothing! Of course we still cleaned out the fridge and took out the trash, but it wasn't required.

Upon our arrival we were met by the property manager Sandy at the airport. Our flight was delayed and texts that I sent her were responded to promptly. She escorted us to the home to ensure that we did not get lost. When we entered the home, she had left us a ‘welcome basket’ that was filled with plenty of yummy treats. The home was well stocked and extremely comfortable and secluded. The owner of the home Carl was quick with a response to any questions we had prior to our arrival. He prepared a nice welcome packet with suggestions on how to make the most of our trip to the island. We had a few minor issues that were addressed immediately. These issues were beyond the owner’s control but the repairs were performed within hours. Sandy was great to deal with and if ever we decide to return to the island… we certainly would consider staying at the home again. Thank you to the home owner(s) and Sandy for providing such a lovely and comfortable home and ensuring we had the best time possible.

This is a charming cottage with an elegant island vibe that has all the comforts of home. The views are spectacular, even better than the pictures. There is lots of seclusion and privacy but you are close to restaurants, beaches and water activities. The pool and patio are great for sunning and stargazing. The cottage is well appointed and very well maintained. They had a cooler, beach chairs, snorkel gear and even an umbrella so we didn't need to rent any beach gear during our stay. Sandy met us at the airport and escorted us to the property. She was also an excellent onsite resource for any questions we had, was always responsive and checked in with us multiple times during our week here. The hosts had an informative welcome packet that had lots of great recommendations from a local perspective that helped us navigate the island like natives. Perfect layout for a friend vacation with two large master suites plus an extra half bath. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This property was everything we could imagine…and more. All details were thought through from various types of coffee machines to being met at the airport by the property manager. Both the owners and property manager were extremely responsive, helpful and kind. The house itself is well maintained, with everything you need. The view is breathtaking. The neighborhood is quiet but central to getting to most parts of the island (though a car is necessary). I would definitely return to stay at this slice of paradise. We went to St. Croix for our friends wedding and were lucky enough to stay here for the week. Communication with Sandra was so easy and helpful! We were escorted to the property, given a tour, a bottle of rum and hot sauce! Of course we went straight to the pool. The view is unbelievable, patio furniture comfortable and the pool is so refreshing. You really have everything you need. The kitchen is fully stocked, you have beach towels, ice chests, tons of linens and the living room furniture is so comfy. The setup was perfect for 2 couples. Both bedrooms were large with gorgeous views and private bath. The grounds are impeccable. You do need a car but I think that’s everywhere on the Island. This is the perfect location to everything. Christiansted and Cane Bay are both 15 min. Drive. Close to grocery stores. I can’t say enough and can’t wait to come back!

This is our 4th stay at this property. It is quiet and secluded. It has all the comforts of home with a spectacular view of the historic Salt River Bay. We love it. Always clean and well maintained.

The house and view are phenomenal! The perfect spot to call home for a few days while on island.

This is a great property that is convenient to everything on the island. The property management team was extremely helpful. Although the house itself is great, the best part is the view. If for no other reason, come for an endless picture postcard of Sugar Bay, the sea, and the sight of St Thomas, St John, and the British Virgin Islands on the horizon. Every night there’s a star show in the sky. We’ll be back!

From the moment we walked in the front door we knew this home was special. It has spectacular views, the interior is beautifully decorated, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. Very private and tranquil spot, lots of gorgeous bougainvillea surrounding the house. Having the beautiful pool and the views made for the best of both worlds! Hope to return soon!

This place is amazing, great central location, beautiful view, house is excellent, perfect for 2 couples, beds/pillows were very comfortable, bath towels better then most high end hotels. Kitchen well stocked, we cooked most our meals. Pool was nice to cool off and enjoy the view. Sandra the property manager was great!

As others have said, the property is exactly as pictured. Sandra met us at the airport and we followed her to the house, which made the whole check-in process very convenient. Christiansted is about a 15 minute drive, as is Cane Bay. Fredericksted may be reached in about 30 minutes. Between the patio and the pool (about 4 ft. in depth), we rarely felt the desire to go to the beach. The nearest house is a little over 200 yards to the northeast, so the patio is very private. If we had to make one suggestion for an improvement, a second lounger on the patio would be nice, but that's a minor quibble.

This place is amazing! Four of us stayed at the house for a week in January and had a great time. The view across Salt River bay out to the Caribbean Sea and sister islands was incredible. The house had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was perfect for cooking our own meals in and the pool was a nice spot to cool off after hours at the beach. The location was very central to all of the activities we had planned for our trip. I would definitely recommend this property! We look forward to returning.

This was a very nice property. Stayed for two weeks and the photos are a great depiction of the property. We had everything we needed and Sandra met us at the road leading to the property. It was very private, the house was clean and quiet. We would recommend it for one or two couples. One suggestion would be to add a second chaise lounge chair on the deck. Otherwise, wonderful vacation and we highly recommend the property. Thanks Sandra

The location of this property is very quiet and has a beautiful view overlooking Salt River. Everything about the property was perfect! The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was set up perfectly. We would go exploring the island early in the day by scuba diving and hiking. The afternoons were spent relaxing and enjoying the pool and patio that provide a gorgeous sweeping view of Salt River and the hills/trees surrounding the house. I would definitely recommend this property!

This is our 3rd stay at the Landings. It is clean, quiet, private, and close to Christiansted. The house is beautify appointed and equipped with everything one would need. It is designed for comfort. The view from the back deck and every room in the house is lovely. I miss it already. We will be back.

This was our first and definitely not our last time renting a vacation home. It will be very hard to stay in a hotel again. This home had everything we wanted for our vacation. Ocean view, privacy, pool, cleanliness, accessibility, grill, AC, amenity, WiFi, all at a price a hotel could not match. Our only complaint was that we did not bring more people with us to share this experience! Greeting at the airport by the friendly property manager was excellent and she made sure we where all settled in befor she left. It was difficult to leave as it began to feel like a home we could stay in. We are already planning a return trip! Thank you!!!!

I’ve been coming to St Croix for the last 5 years and this is by far the best home we have stayed in! The views are amazing and it’s close to Cane Bay which is one of our favorite beaches. Sandra the property manager was wonderful! We would definitely stay there again!!!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in May for my Birthday. Perfect set up for just the two of us. Would also be great for 2 couples. There are two master bedrooms with their own bathrooms on opposite sides of the house. New TV and air conditioning was a plus. The road up was a little rough but we didn't have any trouble. Loved the central location, made it easy to pop down to Christiansted for dinner. The kitchen is well appointed. They had everything we needed and we like to cook! The view couldn't be beat. We spent most of our time just looking out the Salt River. Amazing and beautiful! Loved waking up to the birds. It rained in the afternoons and just enough to cool us down. All in all a great trip!

We love the privacy, pool, layout, and amenities. This is the second time we rented this house and this year, the kitchen was dirty, we had to clean it. before we used it, there are animals in the roof making noises at night, the power was out and we could not use the generator because we didn't know where the gas valve was at in the middle of a storm at night, laundry room flooded in the rain, probably because the gutters are plugged. It just seems the property isn't as up to standards as it was the previous year. We would rent it again though.
